Halloween 2023

Every year on 31 Oct, Halloween celebration is pulled together by the residents in Woodgrove (actually the entire private estate) decorating their houses and giving out treats to children.  The event is FREE for everybody.

This is a back dated post, so we will have fun again in Oct 2024.

I was a giant walking Covid Test Kit lolxx...

The cotton bud not too stable, the strip for holding the board was ok until my nephew any how swing with it heehee... but it was really cool looking.

This was really good, the swing moved with eerie singing, and it gave out smoke also waahaahaa... 

Darren ignored by dog.

I later wore a air blown "surgeon from hell".

Our family very nice, bought expensive and very pretty goodies.

Actually night was very fun with more crowd and decor lightings, just that the photos never turn out well.

This was a yearly event for so many years, but there were still cars insisted to drive in and then get stuck in the crowd and got upset with everybody except for themselves.

With this post, I am done with Oct, too glad to move on to Nov 2023.

Went to Polyclinic again, forgotten what it was for.  But anyway I gotten them to make an appointment with Changi Hospital to operate away my piles.  All along it's there but it's getting quite bad.  So it's about 2years lapse from the previous surgery.

Weather wasn't good but the rain stopped after reaching Paya Lebar Sq.

Late lunch and I almost had the whole restaurant to myself.  Super happy!

Nice grey wool coat on hanger, not so nice after it's on me.  So I would be wearing the same old clothes for coming winter vacation, it turned out ok anyway.  I actually gotten new things to wear when I was there.

Then I had the whole cinema by myself, WAAAHAAAHAAAHAAA....

I really enjoyed having a lot of clean space by myself.  No need to force a smile to strangers and pretend to be polite, also don't need to endure people who cannot behave in public.

Ordered 3 boxes of chicken essence, seller gave 3 strips of ginseng essence as GWP, nice.

So rainy recently.  This is a back dated post (obviously), it's now Jan 2024, even more rainy these days.

We were Changi City Point.

Had dinner at Expo Timbre for Darren's birthday.

Disappointed that there wasn't Live Band.

Thai food, heehee...

This might be our last time here cos Expo Timbre was closing down, maybe the crowd wasn't good enough to sustain.

One of the exhibition all was having India fair, I wanted EVERYTHING lolxx... but sadly left empty handed cos of the coming trip, needed to 省。

My late morning was always like this.

Nothing extravagant, the boys liked the mookata in the neighbourhood, so we just had something simple for some precious time together.  Happy Birthday to my old boy Darren.

Made miso soup with dying broccoli.  Darren had stir fried beef/pork, took a bit from him.  I had salmon, yumz...

My baby sis was back!!

Picked her up although I couldn't drive.  Didn't want her to touch down with nobody to welcome her home.

We had the best zhi char dinner ever!  I so long never eat zhi char de.

Found bread in freezer, then there was a few miserable pieces of chocolate.  So I just melt them and poured over.  Brunch done.

Dinner, life was simple and good.

After lazing till almost last min.  I started to work on my Halloween "costume".

Sending Luis to camp.

We had dinner at a neighbourhood mall with a very weird layout.  It was so bad that it was our first and last visit.  Forgotten what that place was called, never mind, it should be forgotten.

Another day with a nice tray of brunch.

PapaVoo bought super nice chicken rice for dinner.

Next day would be Halloween, had to put on a separate post cos I had taken a lot of photos on that day.

Not much readers in the space, but this is how I like it to be, not too public, but someone out there know I exist on earth.  Thanks for peeping and knowing there's an old lady in Singapore living her life in this way.
