Xmas eve dinner

Queue 10mins to get into Donki.  Gotten salmon sashimi, ikura and octopus, items which couldn't be purchase in advance.

Janelle helping me to prepare the sliders, Karsten touched here touched there and wert off lolxx...

They skipped lunch for this dinner, almost pounded onto the table so I didn't have time to set up the table properly.  I was very happy, they loved the food, not much was left.

The cutlery pouches, my kid sis love it so much that she took them home to use for the next day.

Angliss pork and wagyu beef sliders.

Huge roast chicken and snail sausage from Angliss also.  I wrapped bacon with pineapple but they fell apart, delicious anyway.

Prawns and oysters from Angliss.  Frozen items which tasted as if they were fresh, it's amazing.

Ikura from Donki.

Brussel sprouts and tri color carrots from Cold Storage.

Salmon and octopus from Donki, so good......

Root beer float.

Chocolate fondue, we had cheese sticks, pretzels, marshmallows, banana and korean strawberries.  It was fantastic, warm chocolate was so yummy.

PapaVoo washed all the dishes, I repeat, he washed everything.  All I did was to wipe the counter top, stove and oven.   It's a miracle!!!!   I can't believe it!  I am finally not left alone to die lolxx....

My kid sis gave me a big bottle of japanese fruit vinegar, Ber and her parents gave me roll-on perfume, Starbucks and hand creams.

Will stop here, cos I need to clean the bathroom wall now, it's almost 11pm urrrggg....... then next day I can apply the grout whitener ASAP.

The pre-cooked rendang chicken was way too long in the freezer, so I cleared it off for lunch.

Wang Lei doing live prawns which would be send over in a bag with oxygen.  So we bought 1kg to try, heeheehee....

Dinner we went visit Darren at his work place.  We love this old boy so much, his smile behind his face mask made my day.   At the same time, we took back some expiring unsold food, so we had free dinner, a bit miserable though but it's ok.

My kid sis booked lunch in Majestic Bay restaurant in GBB.  I was late but I tried to walk over instead of taking that expensive shuttle bus.

I was half running, didn't have time to enjoy the view, maybe come back again.

My beloved niece run out to look for me, she knows me too well that I will lost my way lolxx....

This chinese restaurant is NOT RECOMMENDATED as I was being pissed off right at the entrance.

This guy, waiter or manager or whatever insisted that we join the queue, even after explaining to him that my sis was already inside with a table waiting for us.  Although the queue wasn't long, dining time was restricted, one hour plus couldn't remember.  He was just wasting our time with stinky attitude and face.

Taste of food was nice but all were luke warm.  The same entrance watcher took of our plate of unfinished duck, some ghost took away my niece half eaten egg, to the extend that I asked my niece to hug the drink pitcher before they took it away from our table.  I don't expect tip top service like HDL but this one......... please close down since customers are not welcome at all.  Sibei sia suay if tourists visit and kena this kind of service.  Also, if unfortunately you bought their buffet dim sum, please note that siew mai (and also a few other items) is chargeable, so we didn't order any, drinks also not included in the buffet.  Can't agree with the way they do business, don't offer buffet for heaven's sake if classic dim sum items are not included.  Errrrr..... it's ok, just close and we will wait for next better player who deserve the location.  Sorry good chefs of Majestic Bay, your front liners screwed you all up from behind.

We went Plaza Sing for shopping.  Spending most of the time in Marks & Spencer and Daiso, didn't even make it to Sports Light, we were so tired lolxx....

PapaVoo came to pick me up, this car parked besides us, haahaahaaa..... the owner must be a very cute person.

These were some of things I bought.

Face masks, kept some for myself and some gave to my niece, she likes it.

Dried fruits and veg $1 per pack at Miniso, no need to think further.

I finally gotten english muffins and a big loaf sour bread at $6.90 only.  I still have half in the freezer oh gosh...

Cos the young sales girl was doing her best when I just walked pass, wanted to support her.

SixtyEight again cos I found $9.90 shorts again.

This time fruits were dying lolxx....  Grapes were on offer in Sheng Song.  Actually bought not long ago but the texture was changing, going to turn soggy in one or two days' time.

So here's my green tea latte, sour dough and fruits, quite healthy.

Went to the mini wet market to buy some greens and fish balls to cook dinner.

Could sense that old man ta bao until sian already.

These mini wet tissues from Ezbuy took a month to arrive, so slow.....

So here's dinner, homecooked fish ball noodles, got shabu meat also.

A hit and a miss in online shopping

Luckily Luis is tech savvy.  I finally able to load the photos on my PC.  So updating again...

Another parcel came.  These are door curtains but I am going to put it up against the living room's window after Xmas for CNY.

Look at the close-up of the fabric, thick and I love the woven texture.

I wanted to buy shoes and a matching bag to go with my pale pink dress.  It seems that outlets in Jewel will have the newest items compared to Tampines.  So I took a straight bus over, it's about 5pm and I had the whole bus by myself after it drove pass Tampines.

Walked pass T1, more flights, ppl were going home finally.

The giant Xmas tree was up again, same location.

Purple theme this year.

I went Hoshino Cafe, had spaghetti and cheese milk tea.

After dinner, my first stop was actually Pazzion, unfortunately the crystal stripy low heels were not in yet and I stopped by Pedro.  I saw a few items that I like but thought of going to more shops to further.  The salesman however was very warm, I ended up spending around $200 with a bag, a pair of shoes and a belt for PapaVoo.

Lights were up when I was leaving around 8pm.

Jewel is so beautiful.

I redeemed a Tsum Tsum towel.

It's so cute!!!  The material is so soft, I'll put it up during Xmas.

It's time to harvest again, omg.....  After this, I decided to cling wrap the whole block lolxx.....

Will give myself a break from these mushrooms, eat and harvest until I scared.

Delivery came around 9pm, my Brothers Ciders!  For Xmas also, heeheehee.....

I cut the remaining watermelon, removing all the seeds, as much as possible, then back to the chiller which we could eat after dinner.

Chair cushions came, looked so lousy compared to my old ones.  Not even sure if they can last till CNY.

Online shopping sometimes hit, sometimes miss.....

Pan fried the snow mushrooms.

I made rice bowls for dinner, gave the kids more meat while PapaVoo and I had more mushroom.

Xmas Feast again

Cooked up another Xmas feast to treat little Ber.  Had to do early cos I worried closer to Xmas might not have time.  I was having a bad feeling all along, it's as if Dec was too smooth sailing...

Most items from Angliss, heehee....

I overcooked the brussel sprouts.  Baguette from BreadTalk not bad, fried risotto from SHC not too good.  The rest was pretty good.

Bratwurst sausage, roast striploin and mushroom soup.

My beef looked as if it's dropped into a bird nest lolxx...

Ber gave us a few macaroons, I did a Santa out of it from the icing left over from the gingerbread house.

Inspired to do the same for CNY.

Took a break from the kitchen.  It's raining but we were on the way to the other side of Tampines.

The lightings were very pretty, but the phone cam sucks at taking night lights.

Mookata was great with broth with mild chinese herbs.

The flat BBQ plate was great, food didn't slide into the soup and it cooked meat really fast!

This was so far the best coffee shop mookata we had.  Spicy Thai Thai's mookata was good but on the pricey side.  This Luk Krueng Mookata tasted just as good with a pocket friendly price.

It continued to drizzle, we went home happily satisfied.

Saw on FB, a silly dude, together with many others trying to check into Grand Park Orchard Hotel from 3pm to 7pm, waahaahaahaahaa..... 兴灾乐祸, I am wicked, waahaahaa....

If I am one of the unfortunate customer, I will just go home and email request for a refund or date change sia.  Why gong gong crowd at the lobby, aiyo, sibei 可怜?  I feel sorry for people who's dying to escape from their house, for some reasons or another.  Anyway, this Dec is a very bad timing to step out of the house.

I will wait till next year when all the kids are back to school then make use of my $100 tourist voucher.

Brunch, I made arabiki sausage and scrambled egg, also the last bit of mushroom.  This big plate share with hubby, I couldn't possibly finished this plate of course.

After that I wrapped presents for hubby's colleagues.

The whole family's present wrapping is done by me, really.....

Let him help to fry tofu.

Use korean chilli bean paste with minced pork, tofu and brinjal, the dish was lip and soul smacking good.

Then it took me forever to wash up, haiz...... but nobody is with the ideal of a electric dish washer.
