Binge sleeping

Date: 20/11/2019 (Wed)

Day started with strawberry milk tea.
It's a happy day at work while I left my luggage laying at the living room, had to bear with the eye sore.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Currently drowning in life again, having flu + sore throat after being caught in the rain.  Instead of doing what I had to, I binge sleep since yesterday.  The house is in a big mess already.  Numerous pairs of shoes were outside the shoe cabinet instead of inside.  The tatami coach covered by one mountain of clothes cos it was difficult to find anything if it's in the laundry basket.  The living room has 2 luggage lying plus numerous and all sorts of bags.  I really really hate it when the house is like this.
 If I am not able to move after the day surgery on Mon, the whole house will be "ruined" and it's going to take forever to clean and tidy up.  Maybe shouldn't had take up the part-time job.  But if I didn't I can't make plans for my next solo-trip.
It's 12am already and I need to sleep so badly omg....
Back from Xi An China...
Date: 17/11/2019 (Sun)
Both sons didn't register us for their bursary ceremony.  They had their girlfriends with them, good thing, we were so tired.
Later part of the day I took out all the food from the luggage.
Other then the chrysanthemum and roasted "seed" tea, most of the items were finished, they were so yummy.
I had 8 days worth of laundry to clear and the washing machine started to make a lot of noise.  Finally it's going retire and I can get a new front load washing machine le.
It's difficult to pack up as the old man was around.  He would take out what he wanted and leave a mess behind without guilt.  So I had to pack up the mess after him.  Cos for me, if I take out something, I wouldn't leave that item around.  Eg. if I take out a pair of shoes, it's either I get them washed immediately and sun or they gets back into the shoe cabinet.  There's no way I can take out something and leave them loitering on the floor or anywhere else to clutter the house.  I rather leave them in the luggage so that, at least, the house is tidy.
I probably sounded very negative or fussy, I finally had a pic to prove my "innocence":
I asked him to break 2 soft boil eggs.  When I got back to the kitchen after eating, I saw what he did.  He left the shells on the kitchen top, where the bin (with white plastic bag) was just a couple of inches away.  What more can I say other then clearing and cleaning over and over again?  Doesn't matter any more as long as I am the one doing the job right?  My fate is sealed.
I was requested to go back to work the next day, so I could only do things slowly, not stressing myself out, but again it's difficult not to feel stress lolxx...
Won ourselves 5 green apples from Tampines Food Co.  Since it's so near, we went to collect them then drove a bit down to IKEA to have dinner.
 Chicken cutlet with salted egg sauce which we licked clean and peeled off 50% of the flour.
I surface washed my beloved white boots and brownish water marks started to appear.
I found on Youtube that wrapping with wet tissue paper will remove the stains.  Would be incredible if it works, else I will have to thrown them away with a broken heart.
First time working at Eunos outlet.  When I reached, some workers just finished putting up the glass stickers.
Nice day at work, but money forever not enough...
Sneak peek of my holiday in Xi An China
Date: 09/11/2019 to 16/11/2019
Took a evening flight to Xi An China with Scoot on 9 Nov and flew back on 17 Nov, reached in the morning.
It's going to take some time with quite a bit of photo editing etc, will post with details in my travel blog www.susanwong.blogspot.com
Meanwhile here are some photos:
Outside one of the souvenir shop at Terracotta Army (兵马俑)
At a mushroom farm.
One of the accommodation.  Beautiful new buildings like ancient inns, but had to bear with the stairs, they were still installing lifts.
Ta Yun Mountain (塔云山) with the tiniest temple right at the top which I had climbed up, then made our way down to take this pic.
Scenery was like a painting, with numerous mountains at the back.
HuKou Waterfall (壶口瀑布), part of Yellow River.  There was a rainbow over it when we visited.
CuiQuan Hotel (翠泉开元酒店)  This place is sooooooooo pretty, I wished I could stay for a few days de.
Wave Valley 波浪谷 which wasn't wavy enough but it was windy enough, I ate some sand.
I think it's a swiss roll, too bad that I couldn't bring it back.
Muslim Street (回民街)
Steamboat + manicure + new iphone glass protector for $38
Date: 07/11/2019 (Thurs)
I looked and looked at my nails, really lazy to DIY.  No time to JB, over here so expensive....  Suddenly Hai Di Lao came to my mind, it's FREE over there!  Might as well since I needed lunch.  Quickly washed up and head to Century Sq's outlet.
It was easy, no queue around 12.30pm.
I ordered a Kurobuta Pork set suitable for 1pax.  Not able to take a pic cos of the set cos I gave them my phone for a new tempered glass screen protector.
I opted for 2 FOC water, one seafood broth and a mushroom broth.  Didn't order my fav mala becos of my bloody ass's condition.
It's my first time eating steamboat alone and it's the MOST RELAXING steamboat meal I ever had in my life!  I enjoyed and ate slowly from 12.30pm to 2pm with HDL plushie!
Selfie with HDL plushie provided for solo diners.
Not sure I was squeezing it's neck or cheek lolxx..
Very cute companion.
Steamboat alone is therapeutic, I am going to do it again!
The bill came up to be $38 and I won myself a coupon which can be use on the next visit.
When I was about to leave the mall, got pulled into a roadshow promoting TCM massage.
Then, like kena "gong tao" I signed about $400 of package with them.
After a happy meal went to Changi Hospital for appointment.  Fixed surgery appointment, pre-surgery diet and medication arranged.
Back to HDL around 6pm for manicure.  While doing my nails, one auntie came over made a lot of noise complaining that she had waited since noon.  Wanted to tell her me too, if can wait, just wait, if can't wait go to the nail parlor a few units away, just pay $28.
Manicure at HDL is a complimentary service, it's not something you paid for, they don't owe you.
Last day of work before flying off.  I packed my own luggage, left the old man to take care of his own belongings.  I had put in excess tops and a few bottoms which he didn't bother to check or count.
My holiday finally came.
Nursing my butt and catching up with life
Date: 04/11/2019 (Mon)
I don't know where the fatigue came from but I felt a lot better without pain.
Hubby fetched me to Tampines Food Co for dinner.  It's a 2mins drive from my house.
We deal with machines.
Food collection here.
Very nice dinning space, but very very quiet, we almost had the entire place to ourselves.
The riders waited forever for their order, we too waited forever for our food.
This tauhu telur cost close to $8, we only manage to find about 5 pieces of 1cm cube tofu.  The rest were oily egg floss.  How expensive can a slab of tofu be and they charge us for this price.  Totally not justify quantity.
First and last visit most probably.  Stick back to my own company and Deliveroo for door step meals.
Nursing my poor butt as much as possible before going back to work the next day.
Weather was nice.  Even if it dips beyond zero during wee mornings and mid nites, those times I should be in bed de.
Dun care, won't bring too much thick clothes.
Haiz....
Didn't realise that X'mas is near till I saw X'mas tree in UE Sq.
Had $3 breakfast before start work at River Valley Point.
After work I took a bus to visit Luis at his work place in Wheelock.
When he saw me, he was so surprised and that smile was priceless.  Then he quickly kept the joy, could see that he was trying so hard not to grin and continue to serve his customer.  I was glad the brief visit made his day, I just want him to hang on till the internship is over.
Then I swing over to look for his girlfriend who's working at TANGS as intern.
I like Eileen very much.
We had dinner together at Far East.
Fish head soup quite nice.
Hubby came to join us later.  He parked at this open carpark beside Goodwood Park Hotel for less than an hr but was charged $11 over.  We were so pissed off and so heart pain, oh gawd......
This girly guy in FB is damn pretty and that burnt orange sweater looked so flattering on the skin.
I want that damn burnt orange sweater!!!
And urrgg... haven't find time to pack up yet.
Going to A&E in the midnite
Date: 03/11/2019 (Sun)
After work, left from Fort Canning to Chinatown's CTC travel for pre-travel briefing.  We were advised to bring winter wear as the weather may dip below -2 degrees.  I had prepared mostly autumn wear and given all my gloves my kid sis.  I didn't believe it would be this cold.  Then they said they run out of hand carry luggage, can only give to us after the trip, haiz....  I couldn't be bringing Chan Brother's bag right?  Luckily I have my one and only big bag from Bangkok Naraya.
We chance upon a Pokemon raid within Chinatown Point, so on it.
A shiny came to me when I least expected it.  So happy that I run round the pillar like a red indian.
Ever since working in Grab, most of my meals were on them.  Eating outside food is like a precious rare occasion.  I do have a choice no to eat company's food, but I had to make do in order to save more money.  The credit card bill just came with a hefty amount though >.<
We were too lazy to step out of Chinatown Point.  We gave Otoko Ramen a try:
Hubby never like ramen, he had char siew rice.
The charcoal grilled pork was damn juciy and nice.
My spicy maze soba was yummy too.
Wonder why the restaurant was so quiet despite of the good food.  Then half way, the old man said he ate lunch late and was too full to eat any more.  I asked why didn't he say earlier, he said never mind.  Sometimes he is so stingy, but see how he waste money, shake head sia.  Cos if he is too full for dinner, he should have say so then we can opt for something light.
Like baby like that, have to always ask: "You hungry or not?" "You cold or not?" "You tired or not?" "You need to smoke or not?" "You drink water or not?"  Sigh.... I gonna die taking care of this over age baby.
The whole social media raved about this so we had to try.
They were having buy 2 get 1 free promo.
We ta-bao back and slowly drink in the car.
Before heading home bought this for $10 for Luis.
He was having a difficult time at work and very very emo, hope to comfort him a little.
Everything was fine until I reached home to shit.  I wasn't even constipated but the piles were out again, larger than ever.  I lie down waiting for the pain the subside but it didn't.
Pass mid night, I had to ask hubby to drive me to CGH.  We reached around 12.30am and were back home around 2am.  I was attended first while many others before me were still waiting.  You can imagine how bad my situation was.  A knife-less day surgery was recommended to end my agony which I agreed.
My 宝贝 Darren was back.  HTA gave all recruits Domino pizza vouchers, so we used it for dinner.  We ordered quite a lot and fed Luis and Eileen as well.
Working at Upper Serangoon today.  My cute little supervisor was late today.  The drivers gotten worried and bought her Mcdonald's breakfast.  They were nice enough to buy mine too.  After the late breakfast around 12pm, we were both too full for lunch lolxx...
I forgotten to bring sleeves along and gotten another few paper cuts from Grab bags, haiz.... as if I got mental problem and self harm like that.....  and the scars are till visible till today.
I am trying to do more updates but it's already pass 12am, I really need to crush, got morning job the next day >.<
Sneak peeks of Halloween photos...
Date: 31/10/2019 (Thurs)
Woke up so late that morning was over.
I heated up the last frozen pizza in fridge for lunch but could only finish half of it.
The new job required me to open a new email and also some app which gave me a headache.  Keyboards weren't friendly to me.  I wasn't able to get things right.
Pressed of time I took a cab to Oakwood.  My father wasn't too responsive when I called him and he seemed to lose a bit of weight.  He has been sick for so long already, what to do....
I stepped out on foot (previous years hubby drove me around) to take pics of the Halloween decors around 3.30pm.  I walked until I lost my way and needed to google my way back lolxx...  I will post all the photos in my www.susanwong.blogspot.com
Meanwhile here some sneak peeks:
50% of my stamina was gone by the time I made my way home.
I cosplay as blood platelet.
This is it:
I took a dark grey eye liner which the effect wasn't as good as black.  I also used a nail cream to stick my falsies a few times and wondered why it didn't stick.  I managed to find an expired lash glue in my baby sis's room and made do with it.
The overall look.
This was the most hilarious moment.
Previous years there were road blocks, this year vehicles kept coming in and the jam was very bad.
Since it's a weekday, as expected crowded started to disperse around 9pm.  Next year's Halloween falls on a Sat if I am not wrong.  We were already looking forward to it where the crowd will rock till pass mid night.
 Learned from Luis, I took a ton of selfies in the toilet.  I didn't even look like myself lolxx...
I won't be updating my blogs during my vacation, cos I won't be bringing my heavy laptop over and I don't know how to do it on my phone.  Anyway I will be too tired also.
But will be posting some pics of Xi An China on IG.
