Why is my house so dirty and messy...

Coffee to start the day, actually I start so late sia, at 3pm, ooops.....

I finally started with the toilet which I had put off so long, but once I started, I regret not doing it earlier!  Scrapper off old mouldy silicon with scrapper, pen knife mostly and sometimes my own nails.

Previous I had 2 white strips to cover each side of the entrance, it's hideous after pulling them away, revealing the mould.  Not only the sight but it smells and I had to wear a mask before the mould pores gets into my lungs.

Had been watching ang mo decorating their big houses, even the smallest house was like triple our size.  I want the tapestry which I managed to find in both Lazada and Shopee.

But will decorative stuffs clutter our already small space?

Made lotong for dinner.  It's my second attempt, great improvement but still need to improve.

The house was in a mess and these were just some areas.

I am living with grown ups, it's hard to explain to outsiders how dirty and messy the house can be.  Dinning table and beds are forever dump areas.   I had tried not doing the beds to see what will happen, and guess what?  They slept with their dirty clothes, socks and power banks.  For tables, they will pushed them all on the floor when they need to eat on the table.

WCs are forever dirty, no birdie admit poor aiming.  Laundry gets piled up within a few days and they will dig into the pile when there's nothing to wear in the wardrobe, but that rarely happens.

I know most ppl keeps their daily dishes on the drainer, then it became a permanent storage and they buy another counter top drain rack.  I just have to clear them and put them back into their respective drawers or cabinet.  I can't bring myself to wash and put wet cutlery and stuffs on clean dried items.  I have no idea how others do it.  I am probably stupid but I can't help it.

It's one of those days where I felt overwhelmed and I didn't know where to start.  After spinning like a top for an hour, it was as if I did nothing at all.

I don't know how ang mo can decorate their kitchen with flowers and photo frames.  I know big lah but not oily meh??  I think they just throw everything into the oven, they don't normally use the stove ba.... But when they show off their massive pantries, they got more spice bottles than me wor.   I don't quite understand the culture.

Anyway, today really no cook, Darren ordered D'Stuff and I had this box for both lunch and dinner, really a lot sia.

Halloween food came early

Raining season is here, how nice if it's snow instead.

I took out 2 drums sticks bought 2 weeks ago, marinated one and air fried for Luis.  Had a mini shock that I run out of 5 spice powder but the chicken was still good.

Also took out vegan fish, it's so cute looking, it went in the air fryer as well.

PapaVoo and I had the vegan fish, rather bland ginseng chicken soup and cabbage rice.

Went Oakwood to meet up with a cousin which I hadn't seen for the longest time.  She had another new marriage which I think it saved her.  She's so much more cheerful now.

I waited for PapaVoo to fetch me and we went IKEA to grab this.  I told him I needed to catch the offer within the limited period of time.  Actually times like this, the merchants are still trying to create cluster.  With that said, we were in and out of the store in less than 20mins.

The ice-cream machine wasn't cold enough during media launch, now it's great.

Back home, this was my temporary bedside table made of 2 boxes on top of each other.  Finally I could kick them off.

The trolley fitted in nicely into the narrow space.

The top shelf I have my mini diffuser, aircon remote, medical oil and my beloved Pikachu light.

Middle shelf for water bottle, fabric freshener and also body cream, talcum powder, and another remote for the electric fan.

The last shelf is for my little silver slate (laptop).

I am thinking of whether or not to buy a breakfast tray so that I can play with the slate in bed.

Mid night supper, milo with granola, still fat I know urrrgggg......

After supper Pikachu and I were smiling at each other, too pleased with the new trolley.

Angliss delivery came.  I ordered Halloween themed food early and just eat as and when we feel like it.

Cute and surprising delicious, normally overly cute food are quite bad, but these were yum yum yum...

The bread also not bad....

I kept the jars after eating the chocolate mousses.

Dinner I fried bee hoon, forgotten what I cooked for the kids.

When the drama I binged featured my house's accessories, heehee...

You wouldn't believe that I crawled out of bed only around 3pm.  I had been binged watching drama again.  I had a tray of coffee, kaya toast and mini swiss rolls.

After hunger was appeased, went back to bed to continue 你是我的荣耀。

热巴 slept with a bear.

I took mine to squeeze onto my single sized bed with me, it's so nice to snuggle with it.

Next scene my pink ribbon cushion was on screen too.  It's normally on the sofa though sometimes I bring it onto the bed to rest my head.

I would be a useless bitch if I didn't cook dinner.   Bought ayam panggang again, but this time there wasn't excess curry paste.

So I did sambal fried rice, it was still good.  That small serving of achar wasn't enough of course.

The beauty of this dinner was that no washing of plates.

Continued to bing, my bear, the exact same bear appeared on screen, wooooooooooot!

Also watched a bit of Youtube.  This was Japan's IKEA, their tray collection.

Food was different too.  When can we go to Japan, when?  When?  WHEN?!?!?  Urrrrgggg....

I didn't make it alive awake before 3pm.  Needed to drink chicken essence to wake up my soul, else I would be in a daze throughout the day.

I forever couldn't find which side to open this little silver slate, so I put a sticker at the side where I should open it, while the old laptop would be RIP under my bed although I didn't transfer all the photos over.  Maybe I should saved important family photos into a drive or something in case the laptop died under my bed....

Here's pano photo of my room.  It's 95% done, what's pending were some walls behind the door and above the wardrobe was not done; I hadn't got a bedside trolley/table yet.  I am still thinking whether to get a headboard cushion.

Basically, half the wall is in cement design, the other half in grey.  The blackout curtain is navy blue, I have dark grey in the master bedroom which I will change over next year.  All these are good backdrops for Luis's photo taking.  The white dream catcher gives the room a little touch of fun.

 At the left most corner you can see part of our wardrobe. Luis's wardrobe is 80% occupied while mine was maxed out, I was just not ready to throw out more.  

Luis is using Nezuko's house as his bedside table, and a big Domo to sleep with.  The big bear is on my bed now but normally it sits on the white containers at the end of my bed.  One container keeps bedsheets and other bottom one keeps books and some Luis's stuffs which we don't use but still can't part with.   I think I want to buy another set of bedsheets, will wait closer to year end.

There's a lot of space, waiting for Covid to be over and the kids can come over to play again.

I cooked for myself late dinner from the leftovers in the chiller, the boys ta bao and settled themselves.

I made porridge from leftover rice and tau pok stir fried with vegan chicken in oyster sauce.  Everything is nice with oyster sauce de.

Darren's friend send us supper lolxx....  I would deal with my weight, after this, next time, lolxx.....

Rot at home weekend

PapaVoo very clever, saw long queue, he went to buy lunch first, after buying lunch came back to see, no queue, so he gotten these in 5 or 10mins.

They were still pipping hot when bought home, so freaking yummy sia.  But I cannot eat too much deep fried food.

Preparing dinner with these sichuan skewers.

I steamed the saba fish, didn't bother to sear it.

Really nice, would be perfect if they were spicy.

All the things had been shifted into the beds and the living room was finally cleared.

Meanwhile PapaVoo and Luis assembled the table, urrrrggg.... the color is so wrong with the rest of the furniture.

Luis shifted his mess from the floor to his new work bench.  It's a disaster area now, I doubt he will organize it, I see what I can do before Xmas...

Posted on Carousell but no luck, waiting for another 2 weeks before calling Town Council ba, haiz.... I want some cash sia..... Such a nice little wardrobe nobody want sobs...

Let's hope it's a temporary measurement ba.....  I know a few FB friends cannot take the vax due to medical condition, but I know a lot ppl didn't feel the need.  So these restrictions kina forced these group of ppl to take the vax ba.....
