A lot done, but more to do after CNY

There's a lot to do but I was still out.

Flashed screen shot of Wang Lei and Mark Lee to redeem a bento at about $14 instead of $17 or $19, couldn't remember.

Ate around 3.30pm and didn't need dinner lolxx...

After this I walked around to look for yu sheng, at the end I settled with Ichiban Sushi's.

Bought ta bao dinner for everybody and waited for PapaVoo to fetch me back.

Out again.  Finally found jelly in GIANT.  I didn't mange to find any the day before in the entire Tampines Centre somehow.

Moved on to IKEA, the red placemat was back in stock.  I also gotten some rugs to put on the washing machine and dryer.  Going to give the laundry area a mini makeover but will be after CNY.  Too much in hands recently, very breathless.

PapaVoo came to pick me up and we had dinner at the nearby coffee shop.

They served with Doraemon plates, laughed die us.

Average Curry fish head, good thing that we didn't need to clear the table.

The big clay pot was heavy, if we dropped and broke it how?  Luckily the regulation of clearing own plates not too rigid.  Anyway I will just avoid eating in hawkers and coffee shops.  If one day I get back to work, I will ta bao back to office.

The tibit tray looks instantly nicer with the red placemat.  The taiwanese jelly looks very festive too.  I kept most of it in the fridge and these few on the tray for "decor" lolxx...

We were trying to sell off all these liquors to a buyer but no luck.  We thought he wanted anything but ended up nothing haiz.....  So they were back to the TV cabinet top to collect dust.  Will try Carousell after CNY.

The top of the TV cabinet is always a nightmare but it's so difficult to climb up and down to get it clean frequently.

The clock dropped so it's resting here.  PapaVoo said that he will hang it up, it took him quite a while to get it done.  The joke is, what he did was letting the clock in this same position resting on the cabinet with a hook behind ie.  we can only see about 1/2 the clock.  So I have another thing to do after CNY, maybe hang somewhere else.....

I tried to remove the old window films, it was too tedious, not worth the effort.  I found some adhesive remover online, not sure if they will work and I had to put this off after CNY as well.

Instead, I used the time to finished off all the walls in the bathroom.  We removed the bathroom mirror to get it done and placed back the next day after the tiles were cleaned.

I told him to buy another mirror, he preferred to do it after CNY.  Oh gosh.... my "after CNY" is just getting longer and longer.

No country is going to let us in......

I love soon kuey and rice kuey, he didn't like them so he seldom buy for me.

Once my late morning fuel was filled, went to clean his vehicle.  I wasn't too bothered with outside but he was, so he played with water and soap while I wiped inside.  The interior was covered with dust, it was gross to the max, I should had done it earlier.

I cooked dinner, black pepper chicken with spaghetti, quite a productive day, I am proud of myself.

First time Singpost delivery service so good.

I was still in bed lolxx...

What came was ang mo dish soap and dryer sheets.  Local supermarkets don't sell dryer sheets sia, luckily can get online.

Wang Lei's love letter finishing soon.

I think enough butterflies liao.  The rest I will try to use it on the window.  The once mouldy bathroom is now clean, the organizers were doing good.  After this video, I fixed up the 3rd holder, in fact I reapplied adhesive and they didn't drop.  If they drop again I am just going to buy another tray.

Darren bought me breakfast, I made green tea latte to go with.

My baby sis is moving le, finally leaving the toxic job, but it was still emotional to leave friends, the cat and home.

Her movers did a great job, they called her chair "Queen Chair" lolxx...

I washed 2 more Domos.

Current state of the balcony/laundry area, it's a hot mess.  I can't find suitable rattan baskets for organizing, I am not sure how to fix things up over here, so this may have to drag over CNY.

Dripping ceiling in the kitchen and common bath, I painted flex seal over but water still sipped through and melt and wall putty.  I ordered flexi tape this time and it's taking forever to reach.

PapaVoo ta bao Mcdonald's for dinner.  I told him to exclude me.  I made myself dinner.  Mala abalone noodles and cold tofu with bonito flakes.

Cooked dinner, it's always easy with Angliss.  Ribs were pre-marinated.

Luis bought these animal pasta a few weeks back, good time to get it cooked.

The wedges were the first to be gone lolxx...

Stir fried ramen for dinner.

The boys took their bowls to their computer, their father took his to the balcony, so the dinning table was spared from cleaning.  One bowl meal is the best.

Xmas was finally over, I quickly put out my orders for CNY, it's on 1st Feb, not much time to catch a breath.

I gotten table cloth, window stickers, door couplets, some CNY face masks for fun and a wall decor.  They all should reached by mid Jan ba.....

Ber came for dinner, I cooked but forgotten to take pics.

I stuffed peppers with minced pork + beef, it was so freaking yummy, but Ber wasn't a big fan of peppers, just like 蜡笔小新 lolxx...

When test kits are controlled like petrol.  It's disgusting, whatever political reasons are behind.

My day started ridiculously late at 3pm.

Glad to have IKEA's waffles in freezer which took only a few seconds to warm up in the microwave.

No amount of elbow scrubs could clean the grouts, so the only way was to plaster over.

I bought a tube from Shopee and it was great!  One tube was only enough for 3/4 wall, work had to stop while I ordered more which will take at least another week to come.

My throat just felt like Sahara desert, so I made cold brew for Luis and myself.

PapaVoo half day, bought us lunch.  It's messy hainan curry rice, delicious, would be perfect if he ordered pork chop for me instead of pom pom prawns.

I wiped off the excess grout whitener and put on the PVC, all took a few mins only.  I wished I didn't have to but we already bought 9 rolls, I had to use at least a few.  A colorful bathroom may not be too bad when the rest of the house is in greys and blacks, I think.

Went out with PapaVoo to buy pillows.  The first shop we went to was Seahorse, the sales lady wasn't in her best mood, so we moved to another shop attended by a very cheerful lady, so we gave her the bill.

We had a hard time looking for a place to eat, everywhere was crowded, nobody could be bothered with Covid any more, including us.

We had beef noodles in China style.

The new eatery which took over Nakhon Thai was not too busy.

Our new pillows heehee.....

I was too tired to step out again, PapaVoo went to see fireworks himself in the mid night.

Bye bye 2021.  All I hope for 2022 is to get air tix to Abu Dhabi and Japan, that's all sia.

No Way Home

Should had save this pizza for the kids, never mind..... my input with matcha latte to start the day.

Continued from what I had left behind, I sanded off the old paint which was the greatest disaster ever and finished spraying all the pipes.  Was half dead, but glad that it's finally over.  Next will be to whiten the wall grouts.

The smell was so bad that PapaVoo had to sleep with window open this night, oh no.........

Some ta bao dinner.

I was weirdly hungry at 1am.  Had mini chicken pies and milo.

Luis mattress came finally after 3 months.  It's so medium soft, so nice.  We threw away the old and concave mattress without looking back lolxx...

I was sore all over still, ta bao dinner, chicken rice from Toa Payoh so yummy.

Trying out other flavor of Brothers Ciders, lemon is still the best.

Did nothing, cos I was forced to watch 2 Amazing Spiderman movies recap 3 others.

My wake up input at 3pm.  It's coffee with cream and I finished mini chicken pies off the fridge.

From the dinning table to the sofa, to the bed, all over the house I went with the lappie lolxx...

The packaging looked amazing with big cockles.

But when I poured out, the cockles were barely there.

Dinner with pan fried gyoza, vegan chicken with kale, egg fried rice, that red mess of cockles and sesame balls which bursted in the air fried lolxx...

Out with Darren, I was jumping from inside, it's so long since we spend time together.

We were at Paya Lebar, in Wursthans cafe.

Preferred the rosti in Marche.

Ordered pasta but bread came.

Overall, average, unlikely to go back.

With some time before movie start, we walked in Scoop raved by Luis.

All customers were given disposable gloves at the entrance.  Nice shop but not too nice prices, to be honest I can't afford most of them.  Organic they might be, it's double if not triple the price of regular supermarkets.

Everybody trying hard not to be bother by Covid.

Darren's treat, deluxe class No Way Home, which included drumlets and drinks.

Happy boi, with his even happier mother.

There was a soft roar when 3 appeared, exciting movie, heehee.... I love my son.
