Bought mala pork bun from NTUC.  It's more than $11 for 2pcs, very expensive with very little meat, puff like prata.  I might as well use prata and cook mala meat myself.

Still smitten by him washing all the dishes on Xmas eve, we watched a movie on bed together after dinner.

Initial, I just want to use up S'pore Discovery Vouchers go waste, I booked SEA Aquarium, cable car & dinner.  Then it became an opportunity to melt the ice.

Swiss Bake Cafe not crowded, so we popped in.

We ordered a breakfast to share cos we planned to have early dinner.

I would be fascinated with this breakfast 3 years ago, but now, I think I make better breakfast then this lolxx...

Advanced booking was great, we skipped the queue.....

and up we go!

I couldn't even remember when was the last time I went on the cable car.

We choose Mon thinking that it would be less crowded, but hor, everybody thought the same and everybody swam here lolxx....  So if we kena....... we kena........  Anyway this is a backdated post, we were safe.

We headed to Good Old Days cafe around 5.30pm for dinner.

The cafe didn't anticipate the crowd, only 2 crews running and spinning around.

Nothing to wow, food was okay.

Instead of cable car, we took the tram back.  And made a quick trip to Donki.

First time to see carrots so red, but didn't buy.

Bought apples on 50% discount instead.

11.29pm, Tabby passed on.... he's Luis's gf, 宝宝's dog.  I cried the whole night.

So heart pain..... tears are welling as I am typing this....  so I won't be proof reading, there maybe lots of typo which I didn't pick up..... sorry...

Xmas eve dinner

Queue 10mins to get into Donki.  Gotten salmon sashimi, ikura and octopus, items which couldn't be purchase in advance.

Janelle helping me to prepare the sliders, Karsten touched here touched there and wert off lolxx...

They skipped lunch for this dinner, almost pounded onto the table so I didn't have time to set up the table properly.  I was very happy, they loved the food, not much was left.

The cutlery pouches, my kid sis love it so much that she took them home to use for the next day.

Angliss pork and wagyu beef sliders.

Huge roast chicken and snail sausage from Angliss also.  I wrapped bacon with pineapple but they fell apart, delicious anyway.

Prawns and oysters from Angliss.  Frozen items which tasted as if they were fresh, it's amazing.

Ikura from Donki.

Brussel sprouts and tri color carrots from Cold Storage.

Salmon and octopus from Donki, so good......

Root beer float.

Chocolate fondue, we had cheese sticks, pretzels, marshmallows, banana and korean strawberries.  It was fantastic, warm chocolate was so yummy.

PapaVoo washed all the dishes, I repeat, he washed everything.  All I did was to wipe the counter top, stove and oven.   It's a miracle!!!!   I can't believe it!  I am finally not left alone to die lolxx....

My kid sis gave me a big bottle of japanese fruit vinegar, Ber and her parents gave me roll-on perfume, Starbucks and hand creams.

Will stop here, cos I need to clean the bathroom wall now, it's almost 11pm urrrggg....... then next day I can apply the grout whitener ASAP.

Prep for Xmas eve dinner

Somebody gave PapaVoo this cute reindeer cake from Rive Gauche, we shared it with my kid sis's family as a birthday cake for my bro-in-law.

After dinner, my "staycation" ended and back home with PapaVoo.

Back home, every square meter was messed up, everything was everywhere.  I wasn't satisfied with my cleaning and packing but I did all can, time was just not enough...  I actually had a messy house tour video but wasn't able to up load here.

Late noon I went Gain City, disappointed that they didn't have a good selection of rice cooker.  I ran round 3 supermarkets, there's no dill leaves and asparagus.  I'll try my luck again on Xmas eve.

PapaVoo and I had dinner at Tokyo Shokudo cos no tables in the food court.

The food is food court's standard, waste money....

I finally gotten a nice rice cooker within the budget.

Bought food from IKEA on the way back to share with Darren.

Beef pie was nice, Darren didn't like it, luckily I bought meatballs also.

Steam cleaned the Xmas cutlery pouches, they looked so cute.

My body wouldn't allow me to clean the electric fans and deep clean the master bath room other wise the house is not miserable.

Here's dinner.

Wanted to post about Xmas eve but no time, it's pass 12am liao and I haven't hang the laundry.  I am seriously considering getting a dryer irregardless of his opinion cos it's my burden which I am trying lighten, not his, not his concern.   He will have to pay for the electric bill though cos my inconvenience was caused by him smoking in the balcony (he just want to smoke in the balcony and no where else)  and I can't dry my everybody's clothes whenever he is at home.

Sail boat have to watch out for wind direction, and me, have to watch out for him to dry my laundry.  I am tired after watching the "wind" for 3 years already.

Grocery shopping trip to GIANT, mainly cos I run out of dish detergent.

They hang toy bears in the carpark, looked horrible.

The bears inside the store looked better, cute infact.

Royal Mama wasn't on promo. $3.90 per bottle was quite ex.  So I bought only one, hopeful can last longer since I cook less now.

It's a bad timing to be in the supermarket but I couldn't find time on weekdays.  Must make an effort I think, we wasted a lot of time on the queue and also higher chance to kena virus...... urrggg...

Anyways, after we were done, we drove to over to the opposite coffee shop to have Mookata, opened by 周初明。He wasn't here this day.

Value for money, chilli not bad, soup was bland like any other places, so we think the one opened by the 2 chio bo was still better though higher price.

I took a pic of the 6 boxes of KitKat, 2pkts/box.  The red box was so cute, great for CNY, PapaVoo bought them for Xmas gift exchange.  I kept one "pineapple" for our house.

Cold brew for Luis and me.  I hate using these glasses, I have the urge to get a more suitable glassware for our coffee.

Dinner was so good.

Celebrities can be a real disappointment when they won't let go any chance to get to the headlines including divorce.

The whole saga is getting ridiculous but all I can think of are their poor children.

Now the children will be known to have a father who's a irresponsible flirt and a ding dong mother omg....

I made him go the the laundry shop to dry the clothes.  The clothes came back hot like buns, I aired them a bit before keeping them.  Each time is $5, the extra, unnecessary expense he pay for smoking in the balcony.

Staying over at Oakwood to watch over my father and the helper cos my sis family going for staycation.  They had been to 4 or 5 stayca-s over the year.  My sis scrimps on things that I splurge on and spends on things which I won't think it's worth.

Whatever, I felt weirdly happy to leave home.

Cooked dinner for the helper and myself.  Not my kitchen, it was not smooth to work on but these were quite good.

You are looking at sweet sour prawns with lychee + pan fried batang + tamago + blanched veg + brown rice.

I think I will get my sis a new rice cooker as a Xmas present for the family.  The rice cooker was more than 10 years old, all peeled and yellow although it's working fine, but it's just so ugly.  She was constantly worried the helper will not take care of electric appliances so she never want to buy a new one to risk it.  So let it be a present.
