Went GRAB headquarters for interview.
I was 15mins late. From Tampines to Bishan then another bus to Sin Ming took longer than expected. The job agent never gave me the full address, I took another 15mins contacting her. But she put everything to me without mentioning I couldn't contact her.
The interviewer was a small girl, young enough to be my daughter. She told me it's a young environment and some of them finds it stressful to work with older colleagues. I didn't told her that I hate working with people of my age too. Most of them boast and brag, some simply loves taking advantage of people in order to do less.
As such I wasn't pinning to much hopes and was on the way to Paya Lebar. I was really surprised when the job agency called and told me I got the job. So I went straight to Somerset to sign whatever I needed to sign at the job agency's office then went Plaza Sing to meet up with hubby.
He suggested Tim Ho Wan for dinner which I was more than happy, taking it as a celebration meal that I gotten a job! I am really reluctant to let go of house work, but I need the money to travel. I will probably take a short break to spring clean the house after the contract ends in Dec.
Spicy dumplings with sauce so perfect that we finished the last drop of it.
After dinner had lots of fun in Miniso. Overheard one shopper said the Marvel music was making people buying more lolxx...
On the way home, Deepavali lights are awesome. Why CNY decor in Chinatown is always horrible??

The floor mat is around $10 I think, can't remember. I placed it at the wash basin of the toilet instead of putting at the door. Cos if put at the door, just step over, moreover the common toilet is dry, no need to dry feet.
So basically we spend more time at the wash basin, can enjoy of soft floor mat for a longer time.

First day of work, it means a major change in my life routine. I will need to work 5 days a week but each day is only 5hrs. Which means I probably will still have time and energy for housework.
We are not allowed to take any photos of the actual working environment and the procedures. So I can't disclose anything. My job is so secretive lolxx.... All I can say is that I do get free food and sometimes allowed to dismiss early. However being late is the biggest taboo and will get seriously penalized due to the work nature.
So far, other than spending on travel fares, I hardly open up my wallet, it's just stay safe and comfortable in bag lolxx... Can't wait to see a increase in my bank account again.
