There was this 5yo kid looking at him, so her father asked "You want to take photo with jie jie (姐姐)?".

"I am not jie jie, I am kor kor (哥哥)."  The kid shocked, run away when she heard Luis's voice, the father run after his kid lolxx....  Laugh die me.

A rare occasion of having a white loaf, it's so nice with butter and jam.

Maybe it's time to cut down on brioche bread, save money also.

Meat balls from SHC, so super tightly vacuumed that many ppl thought the balls were exposed, then can telegram and scold SHC sia lolxx....  Laugh die me.  I stared at the balls for a good min to confirm it's vacuumed packed with a plastic film over. 

This packing made it very easy for last min thaw.  I filled the package with water and it's thawed in 30mins.

Dinner for Luis and me, sukiyaki, the pan from stove to table.

Didn't have shabu slices, so made do with balls.

The gravy soup so good with rice.

White bread is good for making egg toast, kiap with truffle ham and cheese, send Luis's taste buds to heaven.

Already so many Covid deaths, god have mercy please...... really sad.

Grab Crave for dinner again, this time cheaper about $17 for a 2pax bundle, but rendang beef very little, chicken cutlet also very little, but I was so tired cooking.

Katsudon from Angliss, I think I prefer this to Donki's.

Air fried 180 degrees 20mins, rice and onion/eggs were also done at the same time.

I finally could throw away this oil keeper from Daiso.  It's so difficult to clean and it started to rust.

Bought at Lazada's flash sales $9.90 nia, holds 1.4L.

It's so pretty looking on the kitchen top.

Very nice stainless steel with removable mash sieve and base.  Happy.

These 3rd world countries will probably have half of their population wiped out by Covid.  What's reporting now is predicted in the very beginning liao.

Can't blame them escaping from their country when life is at stake.  I'll also ran away from Singapore if it screw up bad enough.  In Oman was equally bad, I don't care, I just want my baby sis back safely.  This time she didn't buy a return ticket cos the situation there was very bad.  Almost the whole office is infected, everybody she know kena, she is living in fear sia.

The stupid oven didn't give a even browning to the wellington.

I was too lazy to step to buy green salad, so the platter was very brown with roasted potatoes and sweet potato fries.  The potato was local, so not too suitable for roasting, tasted not as good.

Cleared off escargot from the fridge liao, nom nom nom....

Cleared of another bulky item from the freezer, Angliss's éclair, was free with purchase some time ago.

A new place to queue at the east....

Before our dinner long queue, after dinner even longer queue.

New Donki at Downtown East.  Actually I have nothing to buy lah, but maybe go again during weekday.

Dinner at 18 Chef.  Hubby say my home cooked beef was better lolxx...

I ate fish & chips, the fries were pathetic.  The beer batter was nice, dory fish sucked forever.

We really love their ice-lemon tea, almost wanted to order another glass.

Lipton tea really CMI, anyone got nice strong tea to recommend?  Hope to replicate the taste lolxx..

Cold pressed green apples + celery + lemon juice, damn nice.  However it stained the bulbs so finally had to throw them away le.

Dinner went 辣不辣, from day light waited till no light, the taste was exceptionally nice this day.

I tasted a bit of cumin powder I think, it's so delicious.

Breakfast with viet coffee, made Darren the same without salad.

The small one is chicken sausage, the big one is spicy pork both from SHC.  Brioche loaf from Cold Storage, love it.  This plate almost last me the whole day, I drank some milo and had some cream puffs for dinner.

Made about the same breakfast with truffle ham for Luis and 宝宝 the next day.

I made myself prata egg and chilli lolxx....

Dinner was mie pangsit, it's bar chor mee from Indonesia.

I prepared the food in DIY style, so that everybody could adjust the spicy level and amount of sauce they prefer.

Looked like this went assembled.

Very filling, very yummy.  But not too worth cos with the shipment, it's S$25 for 5 pax portion.

Purchased more interesting ingredients...

Carolines from SHC.  So long never buy from them liao.  It's nice to hop back, though kinda ex, $24 for 24pcs.

Made bake risotto for Luis and 宝宝, then steamed 饭菜 and small dragon dumplings for Darren (cos he ate risotto a few days back).

Singapore (like 救世主, saving them but risking our own's lives) continued to import Covid from India.  It doesn't take a genius to see that obviously these (more well to do) Indians are desperately flying out out of their hell to seek treatment in other countries.  Enuff said.....

But I think the garmen finally ban them recently when one joker was "leaked out" into the community, I didn't manage to read it in detail.  We are now risking another wave of infection, 静观其变 already.

For dinner, Luis bought mala from his school, ate a bit and was hungry for the entire evening lolxxx, so I ate fruits, cream puffs and all sorts of tibits.  My weight remained at 59kg, heehee....

Smoked pork belly from SHC.  Surprising not fat or salty,  what a gem, will order this item again next time.

I made carbonara, portion supposed to be good for both Darren and Luis but Luis ate everything.

So I made another version for Darren.  Pan seared smoked pork belly with capellini in sukiyaki sauce.

Supposed to be soft boil egg but I left it in the air fryer for too long, it became hard boil egg lolxx.... Never mind.

Made dinner though felt tired.  The chive dumpling from Swee Choon not nice, first time eat Swee Choon which is not nice.  PapaVoo normally buy fresh 饺子 from Chinatown stall which could be kept frozen about a month.

While I was still sleeping, PapaVoo went wet market to buy a fat chicken and fish.

My niece broke her knee, so I made her chicken soup and brought over.

The coconut water at home came to good use, chicken soup with coconut water was superb.

Broke a glass container cos I held the cover and it went loose.

I got multiple small cuts on my hands without blood and a few with blood.  So if I use alcohol hand sanitizer, I'll be dead.

Cravings satisfied, pan fried pomfret, shiok.

Dinner was good, we all sat together to watch Star Awards except for my sis, she was on video call till we left.

She gave me a plant.....

and a diffuser.  This one really got smell!  Love it, going to buy more myself.

Long time never buy from SHC, finally ++ from them cos I need Swee Choon's hae bee hiam chilli.

$80 purchase came with a free 6inch bamboo steam, happy die me.

IKEA selling about the same size in 2 tier with 1 cover for over $22, so over priced but I am sure a lot of people will gong gong buy one.

The delivery came just in time, so my lunch was settled almost instantly.

Should had ++ more.

I quite like the 饭菜 and mala siew mai, the original siew mai and ha gao was ordinary, Angliss still holds an upper hand on these 2 items.

Weather cool down a bit with rain

PapaVoo half day, requested him to buy malay rice from Whampo.  Sometimes we share a packet, now we were having one big packet each, tonight dinner 吃不下了。

Too full for dinner, I made 4 steak sandwiches and myself steak with salad.

The mini steak $5 each nia.

Not char enough, fire too small and it cooked too fast.

Also made parma ham with melon.  I know the whole world is eating parma ham with melon, but it's just weird to me.  Gonna make with bread and asparagus next time.

Roast chicken with cauliflower rice 2 tbsp + real rice 2 tbsp, my healthy lunch lolxx....

Brought PapaVoo to Punggol East, but he drove lolxxx....

We settled with thai food at Kin Kao Mai.

Every table was having tom yum soup, so we followed the crowd.

Yup, PapaVoo was wearing a 泰国 t-shirt.

Grilled pork jowl so freaking yummy.  High time to buy pork jowl again.

This one not bad but not authentic, they missed out the thai mini pink garlic.

From day light ate till night lights up.

PapaVoo looked as if he was photoshopped in.

Floor was still wet from rain, it was a cooling night.

After dinner we went to look for dragons.  Old man very excited.

There were more but have to pay $5 to get in.

Walked a bit before going home, perhaps we should come here more often.
