Life in Abu Dhabi UAE, Day 29

 Date: 14/04/2022 (Thurs)

As you are reading this, I am having some on and offs of high blood pressure which made me heavy headed almost throughout the day.  The Polyclinic doc refused to give me medication, not sure if it's a good thing.  PapaVoo said it's hard to quit the medication once started.  What am I going to do with my deteriorating health.....

This post is quite long with lots of photos to share, it's the 2nd last stay in UAE, made my last time to Dubai.  I treasured every minute, cos I don't know when I can be back.

We were heading to Dubai Deep Dive, the deepest man-made dive in the world.  Visit Dubai, you can see many world records at a go.... Tallest building, biggest shopping mall, biggest fountain, the city with awe......

The dive is 60m deep containing 14 million litres of distilled water.

The reception area, the interior is very cool, like a cruise ship.

There was a big viewing glass at the waiting area, looking down the bottomless dark hole made my legs jelly, my kid sis though holding a diving license but hadn't dive for many years, she swallowed sia lolxx...

Although I couldn't dive, looking at the equipment and gears were fascinating.
My sis later told me they were extremely impressed by how clean and new were all the facilities, till the extend they wonder if it's profitable with their reasonable prices.

I didn't stay too long with them, a handsome young boy came to fish me away for a facility tour.
He showed me one of the classroom.

The classroom has a viewing panel also.

Long story short, at the basement are lots of machines and pumps to filter the water in the dive.

The machines are slightly raised up in case of leakage.

The control room which controls the temperature and filtering of water.

This big pool is the entrance of the dive, everything is AMAZING.

Another control station overlooking CCTVs in the dive.

This is the recovery room which is able to mimic the air pressure in the dive, it's for emergency.
It's kept sanitized so nobody is allowed to step in.

That grey big tank at the end contains oxygen.

A big conference room here.

Love the viewing panel, me looking tiny with it.

The tour was about 40mins, after which I stayed at the cafe.

Very nice ambience which I gave up for this cocoon seat with viewing gallery.

Brunch while waiting.

Life was great, didn't want it to end.

Waiting for my sisters to swim by lolxx...

Fond memories, I was very happy although I couldn't dive.

Bread and some omelette with bacon, ate slowly....

I had the best view.

Finally 2 familiar body appeared.

My sisters!!!!

Muaaahaahaahaahaa......

When they were done, we meet up in the washroom, it was so luxurious.

One of the shower room was the size of a HDB bedroom.

While they were showering, I gotten my makeup done and went back to the cafe.

The 2 divers were obviously hungry.

We went to Dubai Outlet Mall.
Stayed for an hour or so, bought nothing.

Next stop was Burj Khalifa for dinner.  Pic taken at the foot and the top couldn't be seen.

First time seeing a car with doors opened upwards in real life.

We had to queue to get into the lift and my baby sis was very very pissed off.
The view was nice, but I didn't manage to take a pic.

View of Dubai Mall and fountain from 153 or 154th floor.

The glass panel was hard to maintain I supposed, so the view from our table was just.... like that lor.
But it was not cheap get up here.  If I am not wrong, there was a minimum spending of USD100 per person.

Fruit juice with ugly presentation.

Prawn salad.

Fried mid wings

I had beef sliders.

I forgotten what's this.

Millionaire burger, golden in color.
Taste not bad but too expensive at The Lounge Burj Khalifa.  My baby sis not in a good mood, but I told her the tix to come up just to see the view was around SGD60, she then felt better lolxx...

Not recommended unless you need to burn off excess money.

I took a short video of the fountain show.

The night view, looked better.

Bye bye Armani Hotel DXB.

The last stop was Dubai Auto Market for my kid sis to view my baby's new bought Porsche (it's only around SGD60K 2nd hand).
My kid sis very cute, she happily hopped in the car and before she test drove, she asked "Where is the brake?"  The dealer's face was priceless and told my baby sis to go sit with her lolxx...  It's hilarious!

Goodbye Dubai, I will fly to you whenever I chance upon cheap ticket heehee......  Dubai my love......
