First day of work. I won't mention which brand of skincare. They had stand alone boutiques, I was put at Plaza Sing despite of them having outlet in Tampines. I had requested to be placed in Tampines, the person in charge said it's very inconvenient for them as they would have to do extra paper work. I know I can't stay with this kind of management but I had to suck it up for the source of income. I was already thinking of leaving even before I start.

I wasn't informed about their dress-code, it wasn't even mentioned during the training. If I had known, I would had rejected this job.

Black dress was disapproved - only black t-shirt with black tight pants (who wears tight pants now sia)

Black pumps was disapproved - only black sneakers/loafers, cannot reveal skin

Brown contacts was disapproved

Light pink shimmery manicure disapproved - but they had to let me be cos I said I have no money to remove it

Brown hair disapproved - I was ordered to buy black hair spray on the spot which cost me S$25

The young store manager was not able to hide her joy of disapproving me from head to toes. The superior feel was sending her to heaven. She was very proud of their "grooming standard" which was same as supermarket promoters. She was young and pretty, the so called "grooming" totally ruined her appearance, actually kinda pity her.

She bar me from doing sales, reason being I didn't know the products and didn't know how to sell. I "okie okie" and smiled all my way. I wasn't angry with anybody, just with myself, cos ultimately I chose to take up this role, although I wasn't informed beforehand the grooming was that bad.

I was hard-up for a job, but even more hard-up to leave this hell. To think I actually shorten my China trip for this shit.

I was mentally strained from all the drama, found a cozy HK style cafe and sat in for dinner.

Anyway was thankful for the good food that kinda lift up. I continued to grind through...

Went to buy a pair of loafers close to S$130 for this shitty job. I was only assigned 3 work days in Nov. The shoes, the black hair spray plus transport and food, earned nothing. Then the Dec roaster came, they put me only 5 days (a few days later, took off 2 days, leaving only 3 work days for the entire Dec). Ppl get paid to work, spend money on the job. Eating grass, I started to look another job.

Back from Chongqing but still bought desserts from this newly opened store in Plaza Sing.

The store manager wasn't on duty, so I managed to do a couple of sales, not sure how much was the commission though. But never mind, cos I was leaving.

Old man bought steam fish for dinner. I knew he bought it specially for me.

Times like this made me felt very guilty, I wasn't able to retrieve my heart...

For once Darren gotten an education award of $500.

I dashed out of the house with him in a mess cos I actually forgotten about it.

While walking towards Tampines Hub, old man drove pass and fished us up the vehicle heehee...

So here we were.

I was trying my best not to burden him, food at hawker was ok, just the that I couldn't bring myself to like the environment. But didn't want to ta bao, just want to fill up and get home asap.

Work day at Plaza Sing. The store manager continued to bar me from doing sales, she ordered me to memorize all the products. The office trainer came, we do numerous role play with different products, I answered the questions and recommended 99% correct products (the missing 1% was that he preferred me to push star products instead). He was full of praises and commented I had no problem being on the sales floor. That was a hard slap for the store manager, I couldn't be bothered with her nor the sales.

The only thing to look forward was to have dinner with Vivian at 5pm.

Quite yummy, was about S$12 or 13 with drinks and a small pudding.

Wedding couple was in the bus for photoshoot, then they alighted.

Marriage is never easy, my opinion changed...

Had lunch alone at IKEA. They finally had milky western coffee.

Colorful, bought it.

Was looking for a cheap frame for my GD poster, msg my friend that I couldn't find the right size. Then she told me she got it from Daiso.

Still a good trip, I gotten bedsheets for my father, I hope my sis will use it.

Merry Xmas I gave you my heart, the very next day you gave it away...

Cooked pasta for sons and myself. The reindeers were cuter than I thought.

Bought the vegan pasta sauce and it was quite good too.

Old man gotten free concert tix, so we were heading to Suntec.

Had dinner at HarriAnns Nonya Table which I had wanted to try but there's always a long queue.

Blue pea rice + braised pork belly + sambal prawns chap chye.

Mee siam.

Food was enjoyable, wouldn't mind to visit again, price was very reasonable though it was at Suntec.

The crowd control was very bad. 15mins before the concert and ppl were still strained outside.

Mostly all senior citizens, I tired, let alone them.

Light stick $5, vast difference compared to Dragon's.

Got caps also.

Thankful for the free tix, there's absolutely nothing to complain.

I had to give it to him for the stamina. I think I lie flat flat if I am at his age.

Super old school costumes lolxx...

All rushing towards him during encore cos he was giving out hand fans.

He almost lost balance when ppl tried to grab him haahaahaa...

Glad to be working with Hydse, I like the way these youngsters work, it's always very pleasant although a bit 腿断 from standing. This event was NCPC Anti-Scam Roadshow at Tampines Hub nia. Was so near yet so far cos there was no bus from my home, could only walk over.

Lots of video shooting here and there.
