At the stove for dinner.

My staircase fried pomfret was perfect, but before I could snap a pic a chunk was gone.

Sambal ladies finger, PapaVoo's fav.  I very clever, cooked extra rice.

Basically I eat 2 meals a day.  Garlic butter focaccia and a hot drink to start a day.

Then dinner.  Ta bao cajun chicken, freaking yummy.

The chicken chop was covered with cheese, then the other side the skin was nicely charred.

Binge watching this, get to understand China's culture a bit more.

There's a reason why people behave the way they are, some bad ones and some good ones.  Most of the time it's not understood by outsiders.  I feel that the nation rates a person's value by his/her wealth.  To many money worth more than conscience.....

My family used to be poor when I was young.  I had to beg my parents for money with tears to buy a dictionary.  We dine out in zhi char about once a month, to a dim sum restaurant once or twice a year.  Mcdonald's was below my block but we hardly get to eat it.  Which was why I went to work after my 'O' levels, nobody advised me to further study then.  That time I was dying to find a rich husband lolxx....  

But I never betray my conscience, never take advantage or harm anybody.  Of course I didn't get a rich husband haahaahaa......  Life gotten better and better after married to him though.  Still not rich but financially stable.

Went Donki trying to grab cheap deals, but those 50cts and $1 shelves very empty.

Bought back dinner, very yummy.

1st time bought Bakeri croissants via Singapore Home Cooks.

I only regret not buying earlier.... and why did I spend money on Delifrance sia, what the hell.

Seriously, these were the MOST PERFECT, MOST BEAUTIFUL and MOST BUTTERY CRISPY croissant in the whole universe sia!!!!

So aesthetc looking sia....

Starbucks coffee + egg mayo croissant + focaccia garlic bread (also from Singapore Home Cooks).

Very shiok.

  I had bought this treasure pot before my kid sis's FIL passed away.  Wanted to keep it for another week or 2 till they feel better, but she requested us to just prepare it.  The grieve killed their appetite else the small portion wouldn't be enough.

Mee sua kuey, not sure fridge still have or not.

So freaking yummy, lunch settled.

Cooked rice, heat up curry chicken and add tau pok, dinner done.

PapaVoo bought me carrot cake, had it in noon.

Late evening we went to the wake at Yishun.  My sis was grateful to Serenity Funeral Services for their thoughtful and meticulous service.  I told my family, their decor and accessories were what I like, get them or something similar for me in future, heehee.....  We were not able to attend the funeral due to Covid restrictions.  In this case the gov is not compassion, I hope they can have a taste of their rigid implement.

After that came back Tampines to ta bao.

Gotten ourselves seafood porridge.

Came with fish skin.

Darren grabbed me lunch.  He's very sticky to me nowadays, we had been through a lot together these couple of years, hur hur....

1st time trying burrito rice, not bad.

Dinner, PapaVoo ta bao Mcdonald, felt happy for not cooking heehee...

When somebody left.......

Woke up lunch already.  Wanted to make katsu curry, but don't have potato, so made katsudon again.

The kids never sick of it anyway.

Left with 3 chicken chops, the kids had one each, me and old man share share, added breaded uni which was really yummy.

Dinner ta bao, had roast duck rice.

After being jailed (quarantine) for 21 days, my precious baby sis was finally released this day.

We were supposed to have dinner together but my kid sis's FIL was critical in the hospital.

We stayed at home to take care of the kids.

Her FIL had an emergency surgery, but once they opened him up, they sewed him back.........

My kid sis's FIL passed away in the morning.

Heartache for my sis's family, haiz.....

Fed my kids with black pepper fried rice for lunch.

Dinner we had a simple steamboat.

I didn't bother with plating.

All deliveries came before I woke up lolxx....

PapaVoo took half day leave so it was a good time to good Downtown East Donki again.

I thawed food in the chiller but decided to buy dinner.

Nice taste but base was tough, maybe the microwave spoiled the texture.

New phone case came.  It took more than a week for SingPost, not sure if they are inefficient or under man power.  For what I know that the pay is rather miserable.

Vaccination at Tampines Polyclinic was slow.  Waited about 40mins to get jabbed, then another 30mins at the waiting area after that.

It's almost painless though.

宝宝 bought Luis a birthday cake, so we decided to not to buy another.

Cake from this place is crazy delicious, but comes with a price tag.

Our initial plan was to go HaiDiLao for dinner, but cannot liao, haiz..... I made mala 寿面 for Luis.

Made something else for dinner, sometimes I wonder how to survive Covid without Angliss.

If cook everything from scratch everyday, I'll die de.....

So we had steamed egg, steamed minced pork with salted egg and boiled green veg, yummy dinner.

Lack of update cos I am binge watching a drama 安家。

Then it's really warm nowadays, very uncomfortable at home making it difficult to catch up the house chores.  Cos after I shower, I dare not do anything except to switch on the aircon and hide in the room asap.

I didn't turn on my laptop cos of the limited time I have before I shower.  Maybe I should bring the laptop onto my bed.....
