What happened in Wuhan when Covid strike

I forgotten what I did this day, probably packing things from the bunk bed.

There were left over chicken from last night's dinner, so I hand shredded them, make them into chicken porridge, I added in a bottle of bird nest too.  PapaVoo, Darren and me had a bit each.

PapaVoo and I went for movies.  The entire movie only about 6pax including us.

I was many times at the verge of tears.  It showed what happened in Wuhan when Covid strike.

There was a scene where an ang mo from WHO asked how the government keep 10 million people all at home.  I don't want to say so much, can only shake head, heehee.... they are just so different from chinese and asians, but it's ok.

After movie wanted to buy Swee Choon for dinner, but there was a long queue with curious ppl, so I went down B1 and bought korean noodles.  Also changed my dead Trace Together token before heading home.

Busy kitchen

My crazy Darren came home with bags of tibits including this giant bag of 旺旺。

I wanna faint sia, he said only $3, okie......

The pantry have more than enough space, but I put some of the 旺旺 in their room.

I might as well move to the next door to show you my beverage section.  So I got a tibit section, instant noodles section, canned food section and a medicine/supplements section which I never take pics.

Previously bought 2 bags of Milo which had took up quite a lot of space, so will have to wait for a while before buying more coffee pods.

Delivery from Angliss came, so much meat......  I got a emperor chicken there and the white white ones are otah buns.  Got thai chilli sauce, 4pkts of mutton and chicken skewers etc...

Dinner with this.  Pork from Holland really good, no porky smell, very tender with nicely distributed fats.

Made hainanese pork chop.  Bubble bubble in hot oil.

Cook sauce, pour over, done.  几好吃一下。

Any how bought this minced meat.

I purposely went Sheng Siong buy 6pcs of prawns to make toppings for 米台目.

Dinner was so yummy, chilli padi soya sauce dip dip shiok.

Should do this more often, kuey tiao version maybe.

Suddenly it's Aug

Despite of Covid, time seems to dash by, it never stop for any body, any situation.

This corner of the cabinet became a eye sore, I decided to declutter it.  Forgotten to take the before pic.

I couldn't part with the tea towels (yet) though I hardly use them.

It's more spacious now.

Dinner was yummy with simple BKT.

A few days back PapaVoo helped me to install this shelve from Shopee in the pantry.  I put instant noodles on it.  Other then the 酸辣粉，I didn't buy any of these instant noodles, I wished I can throw them all out but it's such a waste.  I think I will bring them all to Oakwood, they eat a lot of maggie mee and we don't.  The tibit shelf became empty at this instance, it was filled up again within a couple of days by Darren.

I had been falling into an unhealthy routine of waking up very late after 1pm.  My first meal at 3.30pm which made me too full to take dinner.

I am so good at making korean sandwich lolxx....

Busy day, putting up items on Carousell in faint hope that I can get back some money.

This multi cooker would be perfect if only the steam baskets were taller.  They couldn't fit in bamboo baskets (for dim sum), so I decided to let it go at $30.  It was sold to a domestic helper.  I was really happy.

Although the cordless vaccum was not perfect, it was easier to work with so I don't need the old Karcher any more.  I had to send it off to make space in the storeroom for $55.  This was later sold to a guy who wanted to use it solely to clean his aircons at home.

The face steamer was almost new, my baby sis' which she didn't want already, letting go at $12.  This was still stuck and we had to depart it at Salvation Army.

Too cute, I decided to keep this 1m big bear and let it be a part of the newly renovated room.  It's currently taking a space on the sofa, awwwww....... so cute.......

The original price was around $180 according to Darren, I priced it at $50, it's a pity that nobody wants it.  I will take off it's knitted t-shirt before sending it off to Salvation Army, sigh...... I can only keep one.

I bought a mini humidifier.  My throat is always so dry till I can't sleep at night, so this helps a little.

Pizza for kiddo.

My breakfast tray with chicken pie, egg tart, chocolate cake, coffee and  water.  Love this Ikea tray so much, have to take good care of it else if it's worn off I think cannot get already.

Dinner was spicy chicken from Angliss quite nice, I was expecting more chicken but gotten more sauce instead.  I had added in tofu, should had added in noodles as well.

I brought out the whole pan to the dinning table.  I think I may want to invest on a pan with detachable handle.

The ayam mesak pie got an egg inside.  An egg could made us so happy, shared this pie with Luis.

Went to Woodlands, took the wrong bus, ended up very late.  Shopping in Cold Storage with my baby sis and niece.

Saw this at $89 and my baby sis bought it for me.  I was looking at this for at least half a year already.

The price was one thing and having another item on the counter top...... I just don't want to clutter my kitchen....  Anyway, I finally gotten it, I was happy.  I will see if it's necessary to leave it on the counter, or find a space to hide it away.

Back at Oakwood, we were making wanton noodles!

We bought the char siew from Cold Storage, it was such a nice dinner.

Date: 31/07/2021 (Sat)

First meal of the day at 2pm, caramel macchiato with pork chop rice half half with Luis.

Lots of delivery from Shopee came.  I bought a glass cleanser and a hair spray bottle.

The hair spray bottle head big body small, looked so weird.

The shelf with flexible length came.  It was a relieve that PapaVoo installed for me in the kitchen.

I had a long list of things to do and was a bit stress already.

Ta bao dinner, it's boring.

Has been a long time since I buy from Tao Bao cos the way Ezbuy charge their shipping fees gives me heart-attack.  But this time due to limited choices in Shopee and Lazada, I had to risk it again.

I bought wall papers for the room (I hope they arrive in time), kitchen wax papers, sandwich boxes (too cute to resist) and 300pcs of paper bowls.  I hope the shipment arrives earlier than stated....

Massive kitchen cleaning

I had small chicken pie and milo for breakfast.

I wanted to clean the kitchen walls only up ended up wiping the cabinets and fridge top as well.

I am not that sort of crazy woman that keeps cleaning and cleaning for no reason.  You see the wet wipes, how disgusting.....  Dirty kitchen walls meaning the cooking hood is not working well already, time to change the charcoal filters...... urgently else the walls and cabinets are turning yellow again in no time.

How often do you guys wipe your exterior kitchen cabinets and walls?

The warm weather could melt any warrior.... had ice + mint + lemon.  I still have more than half pack of mint leaves left which I kept in the freezer, hope they freeze well.

And I kept hurting myself while cleaning, haiz.... sure would blue black one.

The wall ceramics and cabinets became matt after cleaning which I didn't realise until after dinner.

So I wiped down 50% of it with glass cleanser over again at mid night, almost died.
