A Sep without Autumn

Made pizza for the kids then went out.

I had enough of picking up my hair from the floor, I need to cut it short, regardless ugly or not. 

Brought out the long forgotten tote bag.  It was unused cos it's full of little black fabric fibers that stuck around my cloths and everything inside including my nails.  I lint rolled the bag inside out several times to make it useable.  I love it's thick material and texture which was why I bother to go through the trouble.

Bye bye.

I was the only one liking my new short hair, all others whom seen me said very auntie lolxx...

I went Tamp One to Daiso then bought dinner home.

It's going to spread like fire from here.  But other than the few hundreds ppl making noise commenting on FB, the rest of the nation is all out dinning out and shopping while it last.

We are now given a choice to risk it out or or stay safe at home instead of a compulsory lockdown, 走一步看一步呗。

Made sandwich with black pepper chicken chop, a bit messy but still good.

The bear bear wax paper from Ta Bao is very thick, prints are really cute, something nice to work with in the kitchen.

Taste not bad but I couldn't handle the soft texture.

All mashed up lolxx...  but was good to go with porridge.

Century egg porridge and duo fried carrot cakes for dinner.

Made egg toast with arabiki sausages.

Luis ate until left like these for me lolxx....  growing boy good appetite.

One of the kitchen drawer went out of control.  This drawer is used everyday with wet wipes, zip locks, plastic bags, my daily supplement etc.

I kept away less frequently use zip locks and fixed the space.

Said goodbye to these.

With some space, I managed to squeeze all the paper bowls in the top cabinet.

Didn't realise I do so much until I do this post sia....  The cement around the basin came off.  For the longest time he didn't bother.  I fixed it up.

After dinner, I tidy up PapaVoo's wardrobe.

I made a box to keep the ties.

With that, the whole family's wardrobe is settled.  Need to pack the autumn and winter clothes but the bunk beds need to come first.

Date: 31/08/2021 (Tues)

Made chicken chop with blue pea rice for Darren for lunch.

I ate a bit of something else.

Spend the day packing my dresser.  I tossed out a lot of things for my kid sis and her helper.

Meanwhile send PapaVoo this.

Then he went 2 shops to get it for me in the evening.  Sometimes he is quite sweet.

Quite nice although the yam was not purple.

Took me the whole day sia.  One full drawer of skincare, I think can last till end of 2022 lolxx....

I mainly use Clarins and Elizabeth Arden.  Korean brands are for young girls, they have no effect on my old skin lolxx....

Lots of "rubbish" here, hair bands, clips, luggage tags, key chains, oh gawd, 丢也不是，不丢也不是。

I left my cosmetic drawer alone for the time being.  It's a bit congested, not sure what I can throw out....

I think I probably over exert myself, I am sore everywhere, even my chest hurts.  How to sleep earlier and better?  I am worry about my health sia.....

Room makeover, alone

Though not the best in taste, but best for my diet.  PapaVoo bought it at the vending machine outside Subway lolxx.... I had no idea why they put their vending machine outside their stall.

After brunch was the start of the room's makeover, actually very late, around 4.30pm liao.

I think I need to use Jif to wipe the entire aircon.  I apply water repellent, scrapped off the paint and sanded the wall.

The first panel of wall paper was up only at 5.30pm.

PapaVoo put 3 panels and washed his hands off.  So I am on my own again, all the work in the house is done by me and me alone for the rest of the process.

Dinner, miserable.

The next wall was not flat, it's challenging.  The bad news was, I short order 2 panels T__T.  Can cry, had to order again and it's going to take 3 weeks to arrive.

It also means that when the storage beds come, I can't start packing cos the beds will then be too heavy to be shifted to do the wall.  Haiz.....

Date: 28/08/2021 (Sat)

Had milkshake and avocado with quail eggs.

This day just found that it's not possible to put wall paper over this groove, so I had to plaster the wall first.  Haiz.....

Meanwhile worked on other areas. The aircon casing was a nightmare.  I was wanting to do with one whole panel but realized that it's not possible.

Some goes to the wire casings, had to cut and do in small pieces.

Old man was not watching Yippee streams for 2 days straight, I was worried.  After being assured that he was mentally well, I was happy, maybe there's hope in life again.

Date: 29/08/2021 (Sun)

Had leftover Indonesian fish cakes and milo for brunch.

Stopped for a day with the room cos my little Ber came for dinner.  It's good to clear the freezer a bit also.

Angliss pre-cooked honey ribs.

Dinner was yummy with curly fries, chicken bolognese penne, Indonesian fish cakes, portobello with cheese, chicken karaage and of cos the ribs.

My 300pcs paper bowls came.  The volume was more than expected, how to store sia...... 

Re-organizing wardrobes and first aid cabinets

 Date: 25/08/2021 (Wed)

Last goodbye to this bunk bed.  It was with us for about 12 years, I think.  Nobody sleeps on top.

We paid the furniture shop $150 to dismantle and discard.

The room was almost emptied with only the IKEA wardrobe at the left side.

This is going to be how we sleep till the new storage beds come and the arrangement will be the same.

Mine at the window, the dark grey mattress is Luis's.

Ta bao dinner, yummy sia, will tell PapaVoo to buy back the same.

The kids threw out so much clothes and some were new, I hope they find new owners to love them, haiz.....

Luis's wardrobe was done first.  It was easier than expected.  Instead of buying more wardrobe organizers, I learnt from Youtube recycling shopping bags.  I made used of the Muji bag to keep his briefs, cool right?

Luis and I share the cardboard, so this side is my down sized wardrobe.

These are the clothes I wear regularly.  There are still some that can't fit in and a big box of clothes that I don't wear but still can't bear to part with.  I still have dozens of socks, stockings and scarves, plus autumn clothes which I hope can be squeezed into the storage.  Meanwhile, I am still trying to let go more.....

Date: 26/08/2021 (Thurs)

This space was previously mine, Darren's wardrobe was done the next day.  He is the real minimalist at home.  50% were his NS uniforms.  I will keep them elsewhere if his wardrobe expands.

Some of his clothes used to be in the bottom drawer, so now got space, I re-organize our first aid and medical supplies once and for all.

All the thermometers, handplasts and bandages (we seems to use them quite often unfortunately).

I gathered all the hand sanitizers from all corners of the house and put them all together in a folded shopping bag.  Also Darren's creams, previously in my wardrobe, in the toilet, in the living room, all over.  Now everything in one place.  For the first time I am seeing what we have lolxx...

Will be able to update more now cos our storage beds ETA got delayed.  I have more time but packing and re-organizing continues, so much so I think I may have sprain my arm urrrrgggg.....
