Avoid AXA travel insurance

I previously bought my travel insurance from AXA, the only reason was cheap, $138.  My usual trust worthy NTUC was around $277.  I emailed them to change my policy's date, they took forever to reply never mind, they asked me to buy another policy cos the date already commenced.

I was so fuming mad that I called the customer service to cancel the entire policy.  Over the phone it was said the refund takes about 2 to 3 weeks which I don't really think they are capable of fulfilling within the time frame.  I'll deal with them after my vacation, after which, of course that's the last they seen me.

Drinking coffee from my old glass and saw it's made in Russia.  I didn't read into what happened exactly, but war is not doing anybody good, hope it will ceased soon....

Doing up travel documents and gotten myself a Arabic name which I don't know how to pronounce lolxx...

UAE basically requires travellers to fill up a form with particulars and upload vax cert.  Luckily not too complicated, just took up a bit of time.

Dinner was sukiyaki pot, all ingredients from Donki.

Didn't sleep soundly, so I could hear Luis back from work at 6am.  I ordered Mcdonald's, ate before we could sleep well.

I couldn't remember what I cooked for Luis, Darren gone out with Ber, this was old man and my dinner.

Stayed home, start to pack my luggage.  Despite of my baby sis providing a lot, I still find myself bringing a lot of things.  Things like face mask, lip mask, I don't normally bring but I have to this time cos it's going to 30 days away from home.  I brought all my home wear, panties and bras lolxx...

Ber brought cookies over and had dinner with us.  The next time I see her will be next month le....

PapaVoo bought fresh chicken and fish from the wet market.

Thank you for popping by.  The above posts are slightly back dated, I'll be leaving for Abu Dhabi in a few hours time.  I got all the travel docs done, no PCR test required, so less stressful, hope everything is smooth...

I promise the coming updates will be exciting.  30 days abroad, so I will have a lot of stories to tell lolxx....

Upside down sleep routine...

After putting ant poison in wee morning, I kiap my baby sis's cert with cardboard and wrapped up.

Brown paper with santa prints is still brown paper and I hope I done enough to prevent from cert from any bent or damage in the luggage.  Went to sleep and woke up noon, it's now my usual which I am trying to change.

I finally tried the strawberry coffee, love it.

Luis had cold brew, we had some sweet pastries for brunch.

Frozen pastries from Angliss, tasted as if they were freshly baked from the oven.

I made burger for dinner, lip smacking good.

Angliss burger patties are simply invincible.

Trying the clear as much as possible from the fridge.

Delicate cheese tarts from Angliss.

I cooked simple dinner for Luis (not enough ingredients to cook for all) cos he had to leave around 7pm for work.  PapaVoo always very late.

Dinner he bought for me.

Then I was up the whole night with some broken sleep, I was too tired to do anything but my mind was horse racing.....

Luis came back from work around 8am and I decided to make him breakfast since I couldn't sleep.

After that he went to sleep and I was finally able to drop dead asleep.

I forced myself to wake up to go Goldheart to fix my sis necklace.  I should had done so earlier but I had totally forgotten about it till she asked lolxx....

To make the trip worth it, I went Donki, carried until my arms wanna break, but thank god I was safe and Covid negative.

Going to bring this to Abu Dhabi.

Ta bao 4pax dinner also, here's mine.

Lingzhi finally in promo.  Despite of spending thousands at Eu Yang Seng, I never chance upon their GWP, I only had recycle bags and this was the first time I gotten something good, heehee.... gonna bring along the red earbuds with me, happy....

My baby sis bought me one load of toiletries, kinda feel bad for letting her spending so much.....

She is always so nice to me..... I feel so loved.....

The ribbons looked soooooooo pretty...... from M&S.  The texture was so good that it was good on it's own.  I think it will make a good salad.  I topped with pulled beef and it wasn't the best combi.

I emailed AXA insurance to change the dates, they are going to take days to reply.   And the..... also bid for an upgrade.  Previously I bid for $430.

Not sure when I will know the result.

I bought a portable air purifier to be hang on the neck.  Can hang on the bag?

No sure if it's effective and there's no way to find out.

Bringing it along abroad with me anyway.

I put on the woven rugs on the machines, it's going to look so pretty against bamboo blinds.  I was stupid enough to look for blinds wide enough for the window for weeks.  Now I realise that I can make do with 2 blinds.  I guess I will order when I come back ba.....

PapaVoo bought a few buns from Giant, they weren't tasty.  He normally buys from neighbourhood bakeries which were just as bad.  He never eat but today he tried what he bought, he said not nice lolxx....   Finally he knew that we were not picky, it's just genuinely bad.  I really shouldn't be pinning any more hopes on having nice buns from these places already....

This is the last straw, I will buy buns myself in malls cos PapaVoo doesn't go into malls unless he's with me.

Dinner ta bao from Bedok 88, all the sinful food lolxx....

Lunch, GrabFood, so oily, not much meat also....

Dinner the kids Grab again while PapaVoo and had finished the last batch of dim sum in the freezer.

Yummy but kinda overdosed lolxx....

Itchy mouth, Darren went provision shop bought ice cream.

We starting joking about PapaVoo will never buy things like these lolxx.... he screwed up too many unappetizing items recently lolxx....

KitKat very sweet but nice.

I think I found the track, poison the ants in the midnite.

The next day, all ants vanished from my kitchen, it's so effective.

Feel threatened in my own home ground...

After having 10 - 20k daily, I think around 30% - 40% of the nation gotten Covid.

From intense fear, it's now like a nice skip off from school or work.

Should I just pack up and go?  What if I react late and found positive only upon landing Abu Dabhi?  Half my holiday gone sia.  I think it's better to delay my flight further and fly back with my baby sis in mid Apr.  But keeping myself negative during these 2 weeks in Singapore is very challenging leh......  I even decided to cancel outing with my niece and stay at home till I fly, I just need to go out once to get my lash done.....  Even so, I can kena when PapaVoo, Darren and Luis have positive cases at work almost everyday, they bring it back, I die.....

I have never feel so threaten and unsafe in my own home ground.....

Lunch, made noodles with shrimp dumplings for myself and Luis had karaage chicken to go with the same noodles.

Kinda over ate with chap chye peng for dinner.  I had to repeat more than 3 times to hubby I want 4 dishes.  Else he will keep the budget to $3.50 with no more than 3 small pieces of meat.

He told me this was $5, I told him good job lolxx..... My packet of rice must exceed $5 to be consider "edible" lolxx....

The disinfectant service guy came -

Boo boo the whole house for $220, the whole process was less than an hour for my 4-room HDB.  In case any of you need this service it's -

With the paid service, I saved a lot of work from wiping furniture and changing curtain.  Even the walls were cleaned I know (hope).

After the disinfection, the chance of getting infected should be close to zero...

There's almost nothing in the fridge as I was supposed to be flown off by this time.  Just canned curry chicken and eggs for Luis, while there were still some broccoli for me to munch on.

The old man was angry as his office didn't allow him to return work, I totally don't get as I will be overjoyed.  He said they over react as he was negative, he die die wanted to go back to work so he stayed in the warehouse instead.  However, in the warehouse, two more colleague kena and he came home early.  That warehouse..... one just recovered, one kena still at home, 2 more kena today.  So he was forced to stay home again till Mon lolxx.....  I know staying home bored him to death but I can't be going out with him to 吃喝玩乐 at this time..... that overgrown old kid.....

My nails sia, haiz....  I never point but the middle peeled off lolxx...  I will see how when the date is nearer to my flight lah....

My baby sis was very gan jiong, so I had rebooked my flights outbound 17 Mar and return on 15 Apr.  Flight confirmed, 满天神佛 please keep me safe till I land in Abu Dabhi sia.

After dinner, burn calories by pulling out small luggage, garment organizers, scarf and knick necks for travelling in my bed storage.  I may miss out a few items since I haven't start packing yet, but will do for the time being.  Then I put back my mattress with fresh beddings.

I was so glad to be back in my cave, 终于可以好好睡了。

Everybody was negative while Luis was still in his 4rd day of isolation.

For once the change is good.  I will have to cancel my PCR test which I paid $138 for, probably getting back $118 (they charge cancellation fee $20).

We ta bao dinner.  My roast duck drum was yummy.

I was still sleeping in the living room, tahan....  Darren went back to bedroom with his father after making double sure that both were negative.

Had to wear mask handling and washing Luis's clothes and utensils.

Luis's dinner teriyaki chicken with some tofu and luncheon meat.

PapaVoo, Darren and I finally sat together for a meal.  We had been eating separately as a precaution, it felt like a long time although it was only for a few days.

Delivery came.

I bought laundry detergent, some fresh milk, 36 cans of Pokka coffee and these Cherry Blossom limited edition Starbucks.  Going give one box of pod to my kid sis and a box of sachet to the helper.

The packaging looked so pretty.

Mid noon Luis tested himself...... and

NEGATIVE!!

Luis was negative on his 6th day!  I asked him to wipe down the room with Dettol but I knew it wouldn't be thorough.  To be safe, we never enter the contagious room, I told Luis to take out his bedsheets and all for me to wash.  He continued to wear his mask, walked around the house but we kept a distant away from him, for a day or 2 ba.

I engaged disinfectant service from this company -

I will still be sleeping in the living room till they come, blast and clean the whole house.

Another good news, Darren past his driving test on his 2nd attempt!  We had a small celebration with pizza for dinner, Luis took his share and ate in his own room, haiz.... but we were all good, although I was kinda worry for myself doing so much cleaning......

It's extremely lucky that Luis didn't spread the virus to us.

My family need to be safe from Covid else I won't be able to fly off.  I was supposed to be on the way to the airport de, haiz.....
