5pcs of assorted fruits for $2 nia!

Date: 03/06/2020 (Wed)

Stir fried udon for my kids using up the last bit of IKEA meat balls
My kids are carnivores, else isn't it awesome to add in mushrooms and some greens?

Myself I had black glutinous rice porridge delivered from my kid sis.
I have to find out from her how she make this.  Cos I am not going to have this outside any more.  My sis is not a kitchen woman but she really rocks this, so yummy.  I have FOC and endless supply of coconut milk, I spam pour in, so shiok.....

Dinner time, crack knuckles at my lamb rack.  I was so gan jiong that I forgotten to take a pic of it when it was out of the oven.  Judging from the color, I SUCCEEDED!
This was the only tornado spaghetti I managed to tong, cos hubby walked in and slapped the rest of the pasta onto plates and took out lolxx.....  My aglio olio didn't quite make it in taste cos I was too cautious with the amount of olive oil and garlic, I think even salt I didn't add enough for the big amount of pasta.

This round's potato wedges were in perfect gold.  Cos they actually brown further even after taken out of the oil.
Best wedges ever till we chance upon one that can out win these from Angliss.  The dinner was quite close to cafe dinning standard liao.

I finally made my way to see my father, thank god he still recognize me.  He seemed to put on some weight, fingers gotten more deformed but can't help it.

Ordered dinner from Ah Lock Kitchen.
You are looking at 2 rice and 2 bee hoon soup.  I am not doing food photo shot, though it doesn't look impressive, taste not bad de, about $5 to $6 quite reasonable also.  We will be back for more.

After dinner, we went to nearby NTUC Finest (Woodgrove), I bought 2 bags of assorted fruits (5pcs) for $2 each.  Best deal ever!  Where to find such price sia!  I really hope and pray that it's a regular item and we will be back for more!  The lady working around said the fruits got slight flaws (dents) but still good for consume.  I cut up most of them for juicing the next day.  The oranges were very juicy, the apples were as good as those I buy for $1 each!  Imagine the amount of money I saved without sacrificing food quality.  I must grab more the next trip.

I will post some pics of the cut up fruits on the next post.
