Baby sis is back!

Lunch for Luis.  Chicken thigh was pre-cooked, so heat in oven for 20mins nia, plus an egg, he was happy liao.

I had bread myself.  Took out the avocado before it rot, smashed them, pepper and lemon juice, slapped on brioche bun.  The other piece I spammed with salted egg kaya.

I need the t-shirt lolxx...

Had dinner with Vivan at Boon Tong Kee Chicken.

So long never see her, I missed her so much.  She's my fav lady in Clarins back then.

Her daughter now in Uni, not as obedient liao.  I told her my sons are more sensible now.  Used to envy her for having a easy and obedient daughter, cos mine were full of crap then.  Things do change in a way which we can't anticipate.

Watching MasterChef backwards from Season 10.

This is the only champion which I really really dislike, she got serious flaws in her personality no doubt she can cook.  There's no kindness in her, a rather selfish person, whom I think even with the title won, she probably won't go far.

With lots of hiccups, my baby sis finally landed in Singapore near mid night.  For the first time I was dead worried for her.   Will be going the hotel she's quarantine in to bring her goodies next day.

I packed herbal cool tea (told hubby to buy before baby sis asked), bird nest, herbal jelly and some snacks.

She would be spending 14 days "jailed" in JW Marriot.

Glad that she was give a beautiful hotel, however the food provided were not fantastic.

Went Sandaime Bunji for lunch with PapaVoo.

I love the roast beef don here, it's only $19.90 for a 250g good portion.

But I would prefer an onsen egg instead of lava egg lolxx...

Salmon salad $13.90.

After lunch we walked over to the hotel.  They actually set up a reception outside the hotel where we could pass our things for them to bring up.

We had no idea which room our sis was in, herself had no idea where she was either.

We waved to the hotel building and she took a pic of us.  Felt so bitter that I started to cry.  It was the closest yet the farthest distant.

I was shocked and cried more when she whatsapp me and asked me not to cry.  How she knew I was crying then??   We could only console ourselves that 14 days would fly pass very fast.

Cooked mee pok for dinner with whatever toppings I could find in the fridge.

I even made a simple soup using prawn heads to go with.

Mee poke was a success, the chilli and sauces that came with it was good, so were the fish balls.

Fish dumplings from SeaKing was another disappointment.  The fish dumplings were just made of flour with barely any fillings.

I forced myself to eat the fish dumplings as much as I could but still ended up throwing away about half dozen pieces of them.
