Dino Fest

 Date: 10/12/2020 (Thurs)

This post got lots of photos de....

Last chance to go Dino Fest for this week to avoid the weekend crowd.  However we soon find out that there won't be any crowd cos there's entrance fee.

So the above is a blur screenshot from it's website.  Got a lot of things to play with for children, so for old uncle and auntie can only aim for the food.

The Dino Kart PapaVoo say not shiok, cos the karts were very silent, no rolling sound of wheels or engine lolxx..

Look at the entrance fee.  I doubt ppl will find it worth it, but we went for it out of boredom.

Although there were $5 dinning vouchers, but can only utilize $1 for one item.  Unless one can eat 5 plates of rice or 5 bowls of noodles, it's almost not possible to use up the vouchers.

Holding on to hairy monster's hand, forever.

There were a row of quiet booths.

T4 is so beautiful.

Dino Dine was actually in food court but gone were all the stalls, taken over (temporary) by other vendors.

Food wasn't cheap, the $1 vouchers only make it slightly more reasonable.

Missed pasar malam's moo ping so much and these were good.

Took a couple of photos at the entrance of Jurassic Mile.
The guy took forever to take photos for his beautiful (only in his eyes) girlfriend, and the woman was having serious hallucination of being a Victoria Secret model when her fats were more than mine, sibei irritating de.

Managed to crop them away here, kinda reminded me of Xmas in Hokkaido a few years back.

We ta bao a burger and a hotdog for the kids.  Also bought 2 tubs of ice-cream, we still had those $1 vouchers left which we gave it to another family at a random table.  They gave us a very flat "thank you" which made me think I should just throw the vouchers away instead.
The paper dinosaurs head were still clean, so I kept them somewhere in the kitchen.

Taste not bad though it looked kinda messy.

Overall, don't bother to come, unless you have young children whom you need to keep them entertained.

A mini excursion to Apollo Marine Seafood

 Date: 09/12/2020 (Wed)

This roller came together with the Shaping Facial Lift serum I bought.
Not bad lah, but still not use to incorporate it into my daily skin routine.

Cooked lunch.

Overcooked the supposed onsen egg.

PapaVoo was on half day, so we made a quick trip to Oakwood.  My kid sis very poor thing, she looked so run down and panda eyed.  She didn't know what to do with the kids at home, neither did the kids know what to do.

Brought them to Apollo Marine Seafood walk walk.  It's our first time here.

Eyeing on these for CNY.
There must be more tanks which we didn't see.

Didn't want to go home empty handed, grabbed some items from here.

Bought some live oysters from the tank and ate them on the spot.  It was the best oysters I had ever eaten.

Sea grapes, somehow the taste wasn't as good as what I ate in Okinawa.

The oyster was not fresh, it's LIVE!!!
So freaking good sia....

After that we went for dinner.

We had murtabak at Jalan Kayu Prata.  I personally still prefers SpringLeaf Prata.

Almost a whole day was gone, laundry and housework continued to accumulate....

Too tired to exercise after housework...

 Date: 07/12/2020 (Mon)

It's a bit challenging to blog while shuttling between the hospital.  Although it would be easier if I can update using my phone like what I used to do in Dayre, but I still prefer to blog with my laptop.  A bigger screen is less taxing on my 老花眼.

My ironing piled up so badly that I had to cook less.  Even after ironing for 2hrs, it's as if I had done nothing, the pile was still there.

Anyway, Monday brunch clearing off the charcoal brioche buns.

Ta bao dinner.

No winter holidays for most Singaporeans.  Saw Cheesie's IG with pics of Lake Toya, so much memories....
If you don't mind, click into my blog on Lake Toya HERE.
My pics buay pai one, scenery very swee de...

Date: 08/12/2020 (Tues)

Didn't want to neglect PapaVoo too much.  He had been clearing leave, had to bring him out walk walk though he was the one driving lolxx...

We came for this Dino Dine and damn it, it's only open on Thurs to Sun.  Really damn damn god damn it, it's not stated on website.

We decided to walk to Hub & Spoke, I knew I was trying to kill myself.  A lot of times people say must exercise must exercise, easier said to be done.  I had done more than 2hrs of housework before coming out sia.  Tired you know.  We were stuck inside T4 and had to walked back to the entrance to exit then make a u-turn to continue our journey.  Instead of dispersing crowd, restrictions are just confining people.  It's so difficult to get in and out of a building, every f**king building.

It was a 2km walk.

Some flora views along the way.

Finally, reached liao.

This is Hub & Spoke, bicycle rental cum cafe with shower facilities under one roof.

They have bubble tea and a variety of local and western food in affordable prices.
The yam drink had yam paste inside, it was a yummy drink cum dessert.  We had nasi lemak and curry chicken with rice.

The cafe was brightly light up at night.

Will visit again, cos we saw a carpark nearby,  no way I'll walk again, heehee....

1st half of Dec - suddenly last month of 2024

01/12/2024 Other than the NTUC supermarket, Singapore Pools had the most business.  Why people keep trying their luck when the odds are so...
