Risk it at North Point

Brunch for hubby and me.  Shortly after I sat down, he finished eating and left the table.  So it was as good as me eating alone.

He probably never realize that he's always the one who leave me..... while I stay on....  I am too weak and tired to catch up with his pace liao...  He forever in a gan cheong mood, I also dun know what's there to gan cheong...

The cheese fondue from Angliss was cracked.  Urrggg..... after much explanation and hassle, finally an exchange was arranged.  Cos I had ride on my buddy for this order.

After visiting my father in YCH, head to my kid sis place for a simple steamboat to celebrate my BIL's birthday.

Then we ate salsa nacho for dessert, yum yum.

My kid sis, after being the main caregiver to my old father had exhausted herself.  She's very against nursing, so the baton would be passed to me.  My 4-room flat gonna be a bit crowded with helper and old father, I am cracking my head on how to clear out the room for them.  Other than this, I could only take things as it progress ba.....

Luis's friends came, I made the otah buns.

Also cut up the bak kua swiss roll.

You hear me right, swiss roll inside got bak kwa lolxx... taste not bad de.  Probably good for CNY.

Hubby came to fetch me from YCH to have dinner at North Point.  This place is right after Mustafa, if we kenna COVID here, we really asked for it.  It's very very crowded here, every metre sq was occupied.

Every restaurant, regardless of lousy or good, all with snake queue outside.  My sharp eyes spotted this place with empty tables though there was a short queue outside.  So the wait was less than 5mins.

This post is so back dated that I don't know what we drank lolxx..

Couldn't help to compare with Ding Tai Feng.  It's more pocket friendly, taste also ok actually.

Dumpling noodles.

My visit to Taiwan was many years ago, they have the best cabbage.  Their cabbage had a sweet milky taste and we had stir fried cabbage everyday without feeling sick lolxx...

This was good, but still no where near Taiwan's.

Yummy pork chop fried rice, but PapaVoo think DTF's fried rice is better.
