Cooked dinner, the kids had rice, old man and me had bee hoon with canned spicy pork.

The kids were happy with just the minced meat potato stew.

Had my first and probably the last winter hamachi, I don't mind hamachi in other seasons anyway.

While others were busy watching Joe Biden's inauguration, I was doing craft work for my empty wall.

Never like anything about politics, local or not.

More than half of Jan of the new year is gone and it's still too challenging for me to wake up in the morning.  It's another "work day" at Oakwood.

I made Gyudon and failed onsen egg for them for lunch.  My little nephew wiped out everything including the onions.

It's a tough day cleaning 2 toilets and some window panels with the helper.

Sappy wasn't in a good mood.

Had dinner with kid sis's family at Sanook.

The flavor of the sauce was stronger which I learnt how to improve when preparing this dish.

Woke up to Oakwood, back home, managed to book a pen cai for eve before going to sleep.

Small boy used the photo I taken for him as the advertisement poster.

Made me so happy.

Another day at Oakwood cos my kid sis was conducting online course for 2 days consecutively.

Each time I would carry big bags small bags of condiments and kitchen accessories over.  Also carried back bags with all sorts of food she gave me, hur hur....

Here's what I cooked for lunch:

Stir fried cabbage with hae bee.

Omelette with vegetarian char siew.

Cooker rice with chinese sausage and mushroom.

Quite yummy after mixed with dark sauce. But a bit on the dry side, should had added in more water, had forgotten that the mushroom would suck up water.

This day was very satisfying, I threw out a big bag of stuffs and re-organized the cutleries.

I forgotten to take the before photos (again).

They can finally take what they need at a glance.

Serving cutleries and cooking utensils were previously placed together in the drawer without any trays cos most trays sold outside were not wide or long enough.

So now it's all categorized with separate trays.

There were items more than 1pc cos she kept buying without knowing she actually already had it.

If you missed my previous post, these kitchen trays were bought from Donki at Harbourfront outlet at $1.90 each.

This time I was clever not to share the photos in family chat group, she also kept quiet and I pretended nothing was done.  Previously I posted pic of the cleared counter top and she probably thought I was a show-off trying to claim credit (when I was merely happy for her, it's her house not mine), she was so unhappy that I was asked not to come for more than a week.

So you guys are reading about my secret mission.

PapaVoo came to pick me up, we had dinner together.

Small portions, average taste (I do better), but cannot complain, it's very economical.

Bought dessert back.  It was so filled that I had to transfer into a bigger bowl.

Watching Mr Queen 哲仁王后, made me laugh a lot.
