PapaVoo drove me to Changi Village, took us some time to find carpark sia. Why so crowded at 10.30am sia???
Had wanton mee, happy.
Set off to Pulau Ubin with my baby sis and friend, aiming towards Chek Jawa.
It was raining so my skin and sunblock was saved.
We were surprise to find a lotus pond here, though no flower.
It just made us miss Siem Reap's lotus pond.
We took a break in a shelter to eat snacks and meet a guy trying to open a small durian that was found on the ground. In case it's illegal, I am not posting pics in case I get him into trouble. Without proper barang, it took him a long time to open the thorny fruit. Inside really got durian but unripe and a part of it was rotten. The process was hilarious even though we didn't get to eat it.
Pic with Common Pulai heritage tree. After which my old skechers actually made my skin broke and I had to change into slippers. Luckily I got bring along.
I made it!
The rain stopped when we reached the Broadwalk, the kind of weather I want. I am an outdoor person as long as the sun is not out lolxx....
A SQ fly over and we all asked the same question "When can we fly again?"
High tight.
It was a very fruitful trip at the wetland. Got 山猪 but no monkeys.
We were wondering they were fruits or snails, there were plenty of them.
My baby sis went to pick one up, it's a freaking big snail!
We saw some mud crabs, they were really shy.
Found this football size thingy which we couldn't identify if it's a flower or fruit.
The truth finally came to a light with this information banner........ it's ATTAP CHEE!!!!!
OMG!!!
Scenic part of the trail.
Took pics.
Got viewing tower which I didn't and couldn't climb.
Becos of me, we took a cab back to the jetty. We paid $15 for the 3 of us. One guy hopped in and he was charged $10, we kept quiet.
Back to Changi Village, we ta bao dinner back to Oakwood.
JJ Lin's virtual concert was a disaster, see a bit here and there till it ended.
I wasn't that tired to be honest, but my ankles hurts, maybe a better pair of shoes will help. Where shall I go next? It has been raining so much these days, maybe I will just stay in for the time being.
