A slice of Deepavali

 29/10/2024

This clinic was introduced by old man's friend which specialist in chronic joint pains.  Polyclinic either give panadol or ask you to go exercise.  TCM didn't work after a few visits.
However it was a wasted trip as I was there at 12pm, they only accept walk-in before 9.30am.  Would have to make another trip 3rd week of Nov, cos doc on leave.

The weather was humid and insane, good for yeast proofing only.

Found Acoustics Coffee Bar.  The google map showed me a 800m distant when it was right in front of me.

I needed everything here: aircon - coffee - food.

Ice latte saved me from proofing.
Comfortable ambience.
Saw LBXX at a corner.  Probably belonged to the owner with a tinge of childish hidden in his/her heart.

Had chicken curry rice, not the best but couldn't find fault.

Affogato - hot expresso with coconut ice-cream was divine.

Little Indian with road decor, quite nice actually.
Unintentionally, the Deepavali pasar malam was up, braving through the heat was all it took to check it out.
I had been to Muslim pasar malam in Geylang many times, but this was my first visit to Deepavali's.  And our own CNY market in Chinatown is something I avoid lolxx...
All colorful and a new experience to me, felt like a tourist in my own country heehee...

I was attracted but woven baskets.
But on second look, they all had slight defects so I gave them a miss.

I bought a light blue punjabi and had a treat from the lady boss.

Colorful clothings, all exceeded my budget.

Home decors.

My bra and panties were all drenched in an hour, I must looked horrible.  Anyhow, I snailed back (wet) by MRT, what a long day it had been.

01/12/2024 Other than the NTUC supermarket, Singapore Pools had the most business.  Why people keep trying their luck when the odds are so...
