The last few days of 2020

Buta Don for the kids for lunch.

Heavy box of groceries came.  I order things from Shopee every week now lolxx... No need go supermarket and squeeze with people, also no need to carry until arms break.

I bought a 5L fabric softener and lots of mama lemon, heehee....

To YCH in the late afternoon again, then wait for PapaVoo to fetch me.  We went Yishun Park Hawker again.  Ordered prawn noodles which came in a big big bowl but inside little bit only.

Taste not bad, but portion for small eaters only.

Another Shopee order came, bought aluminum foil and cling wrap, commercial size lolxx.... can last me for a year.

Not only that they are cheaper than buying many small ones and they are much much more easy to use as they can be placed on the table and roll out, the cutter attached to the box is very stable too.  The only minus point is that these are bulky, kitchen must have space to keep them, I know not everybody have spacious kitchen.

I made lunch for the children.

They dun like fish so I had a fillet all by myself.

Late noon to YCH, is now a daily routine.  After that hubby brought me to Chong Pang Hawker for dinner, it was so crowded, we ended up walking to a halal coffee shop.  Used to enjoyed the food from this stall, some how not so now.  I am very picky now lolxx...

It's raining forever now.

We were back to Luk Kreung Mookata.  This time we ordered a tower of tea but it's quite a disappointment.  As you can see, half the tower was filled with fruit slices, so the actual tea we gotten not much.  We clever, we later bought a 1L mineral water to pour in.

We ordered a festive meal for 5pax.

Seafood and dogs platter with cheese.

Really a lot of meat.

Yummy max.

The festive meal include ice cream.

Both Thai Tea and Salted Caramel were crazy yummy.

Date: 31/12/2020 (Thurs)

I was cooking less to catch up with house work.  I couldn't sleep well these few days, cos I was cracking my head on how to clear the current computer/hobby/dating room for my father and helper.  Also think a lot on how to cope with the changes.  I couldn't sleep at night, then couldn't get up in the morning, became very restless day after day.  Want to do a lot of things but too tired,  haiz....  I screwed up my life so much....

Ate a bit of nuggets for dinner.

Ate a bit of fries also.  Dare not eat too much.  There was once I ate the whole thing, I farted the whole night and it's not funny, tummy quite upset de....

PapaVoo and I walked up to a multi-carpark near Tamp Hub to watch fire works in the midnite.  It's a bit blocked, but better than nothing.  I love fire works, at least I felt happy while watching.

That marks a new year, full of unknowns.....  People meant well wishing me Happy New Year, but 我happy不起来 :(

Xmas 2020

Opened up cheese fondue cos Ber was here for dinner.

I don't know why I enjoyed feeding her so much.

I made toasted brochie buns and a small portion of bolognese spaghetti.

The bread is forever the champion.  How wish I can feed you readers too lolxx.... It's really sibei ho chiak de.  The butter crayfish behind so so only.

Bourbon ribs from Angliss, chicken balls from IKEA, potatoes, mushrooms and broccoli prepared specially for the cheese fondue.

Didn't buy a fondue pot, so I put over hot water.  It worked the cheese remained soft.....

and very soft, slurpz......

PapaVoo bought this from IKEA, we had it for dessert, quite yummy.  Darren said the brand Daim was even better, so will try next time.

Xmas dinner was great with little Ber and all my boys.

I am that kind of person who's very particular about quality of living.  Yeah, 生活品质 very important.  So even at home, I like to eat slowly with decent cutleries.

You are looking at a lazy Sunday brunch alone.

After a couple of hours, went YCH.  We decided that we shouldn't risk it at NorthPoint anymore.  Had dinner at Yishun Hawker.

Some nice steamboat on a rainy windy nite.

Luis came home with a big box of Nasty Cookies from 宝宝。So long never see her already...

Silly girl, spend so much money, lup her.

Went for early dinner, cos I scared Ah Tan sold out.

It reminds me of the good old days working in Grab Hawker Hub.

To add on, PapaVoo ordered minced meat brinjal from another stall.

It's very windy at the hospital....

Stayed for an hour before I go off, pains me to see him suffer so much..... but there's nothing I can do.....

This day is my late mother's birthday.  It's 22 years since she left, haiz...

PapaVoo going out dinner with his AMM friends, so I cooked early dinner for myself and Luis.

The kang kong nearly died....

He drove me to YCH before heading to dinner.  I looked so slim in this selfie sia, hair messy also never mind lolxx...

Stayed till 8plus before going home myself, freezing my ass off, need to keep a shawl or jacket in bag.

From Polyclinic to YCH

Had long finished Mdm Heng thai soap, luckily still can get online.

Today to YCH again, and first time saw my father's wound at his back, pain pierced through my heart, the heart pain was for real.

Came back home and ta bao myself dinner at my place's coffee shop.  It's $6.20 sia, and the fish not fresh de....

Date: 22/12/2020 (Tues)

Always have left over rice in fridge, fried rice for myself.

Fried rice portion too little, made hot dog bun for Luis.

Luis butt bleed, like mother like son.  Went to the clinic, family doc not on duty.  Spend $38 with a very lousy doc which I couldn't explain in detail.  Anyway, the trip and money was wasted, we went straight to Polyclinic.

The screener was extremely rude, we were almost screaming at each other, cos we were very offended by him demanding to know why we need to see a doc.  Nabei, feel like telling him we got AIDS.  He should had just inform us that there's no more queue available for the day.  Haiz.... ie.  we need to come again the next day.

To make ourselves feel better, went for hair cut and treatment with Luis.  And fell in love with the salon's water sprayer.

No kids stayed home for dinner, so stir fried bee hoon with prawns, good for me and old man.

Need to lessen my play time on phone.

Morning went to Polyclinic in the morning, gotten a queue number at 2pm, haiz....

So we went back at 2pm again.

After, I was done with Luis, I went to YCH, see my father and watched the sunset.

PapaVoo came to pick me up and we went North Point again for dinner.

I think we better stop visiting this mall for the time being.

Risk it at North Point

Brunch for hubby and me.  Shortly after I sat down, he finished eating and left the table.  So it was as good as me eating alone.

He probably never realize that he's always the one who leave me..... while I stay on....  I am too weak and tired to catch up with his pace liao...  He forever in a gan cheong mood, I also dun know what's there to gan cheong...

The cheese fondue from Angliss was cracked.  Urrggg..... after much explanation and hassle, finally an exchange was arranged.  Cos I had ride on my buddy for this order.

After visiting my father in YCH, head to my kid sis place for a simple steamboat to celebrate my BIL's birthday.

Then we ate salsa nacho for dessert, yum yum.

My kid sis, after being the main caregiver to my old father had exhausted herself.  She's very against nursing, so the baton would be passed to me.  My 4-room flat gonna be a bit crowded with helper and old father, I am cracking my head on how to clear out the room for them.  Other than this, I could only take things as it progress ba.....

Luis's friends came, I made the otah buns.

Also cut up the bak kua swiss roll.

You hear me right, swiss roll inside got bak kwa lolxx... taste not bad de.  Probably good for CNY.

Hubby came to fetch me from YCH to have dinner at North Point.  This place is right after Mustafa, if we kenna COVID here, we really asked for it.  It's very very crowded here, every metre sq was occupied.

Every restaurant, regardless of lousy or good, all with snake queue outside.  My sharp eyes spotted this place with empty tables though there was a short queue outside.  So the wait was less than 5mins.

This post is so back dated that I don't know what we drank lolxx..

Couldn't help to compare with Ding Tai Feng.  It's more pocket friendly, taste also ok actually.

Dumpling noodles.

My visit to Taiwan was many years ago, they have the best cabbage.  Their cabbage had a sweet milky taste and we had stir fried cabbage everyday without feeling sick lolxx...

This was good, but still no where near Taiwan's.

Yummy pork chop fried rice, but PapaVoo think DTF's fried rice is better.
