First time dealing with banana leaves. I use the "warm over fire" method. Probably didn't warm enough and the leave crack. I soaked the leaves in boiling water and this was a better method.

As I had mentioned, I am beginning to feel bored. We headed out to Jewel, almost wanted to U-turn when we saw the almost full car park, haiz....
It was bustling the way it was before COVID. Ppl wear masks, but social distance sometimes yes, most times no. The scanning outside each stores is just a waste of time.
Went Mark's & Spencer to take a look at the pricing of air flown products.
Cravings for roast duck but Dian Xiao Er was closed, we conveniently swing to next door Four Season's Restaurant.

Tom Yum Seafood Soup, nice but too little ingredients.
I hate dory fish but the cornflake coat was really nice.
I never like tomatoes with eggs but this rocks with wok hei.
Lemon grass chicken chops which reminded me my stash of lemon grass powder from Siem Reap.
After dinner we went for dessert. The ice cream was norm but the biscuit was too good to stop at one piece. We sat at the shop to eat this and attracted more than 10 passerby lolxx.....
Everybody saw us eating and created a long queue at the cashier, didn't know to laugh or cry.
So we had to queue to get this box of yummy, so yummy...
If we kena from this Jewel trip, then it must be god's will cos I so long never step out of the house already sia. Haiz... anyway, won't be stepping out of the house after this risky trip. Moreover Tampines is having increase number of cases, it's worst than 2 months ago, life is so ruined. I can't even go Tampines center now, I told my kids not to also. Too bad the rest of the nation behaves like dogs, do what the owner instructs. The owner screw up big time but dogs being dogs knows nothing about COVID, only knows loyalty and wants to have fun, loving their run and fetch even if the bone is poisoned.
What are the chances of having a mask-free Christmas?
