Life in Abu Dhabi, UAE - DAY 4, Qasr Al Sarab Desert

 Date: 20/03/2022 (Sun)

The view when I stepped out of our tent at 6.30am.
So beautiful, no place in Singapore can have such amazing sunrise in such natural yet unique landscape.

It's as cold as last night, my sis's jacket saved my life.

I was wondering why the dogs were so skinny, later I found out that this is their natural physic.

See the little white dot there?  It's the moon, still shinning bright.

So we got here the moon and the hawk waiting to be fed.

Falcon with eye mask so that it doesn't freak out seeing so many strangers.

The hawk flew around us, sat near our refreshment table.

Birds' show starting with a trainer.

Fun with hawk that landed and took off from my arm.

Mary Kate is still my fav.  She's a desert owl.

Such a beauty sia.....

I am missing her liao....

Falcon training.

The sun rose a little, I was still mesmerized by the view.

The skinny dogs (I forgotten the breed) could ran very fast only on deserts due to their cushions on their paws, but they couldn't run the same speed on land.

I forgotten to ask why is there no cactus but many of such little plants instead.

They don't actually have leaf but are packed with water in little bulbs that can be drank if we are desperate.

Just couldn't stop taking pics.... they probably looked the same to you guys.

Oh yup, show you all the toilet.  Actually quite decent.

This is the shower which we never use.

Breakfast tent.

I cheapskate, took all the jams back.

Food more than enough for 5pax.

Fruit platter which I tried to finish, always feel heaty when I am overseas.

The ang mo lady, Lisa, gave us a Expo 2020 badge.  If I had known, I would had brought along some merlion fridge magnets or something.

My poor baby sis drove until eyes half closed.  We came back, rested a while, she then went for her piano class while I cooked dinner.

Some soupy groupa fish with veg and mushroom, yummy de....
Day 5, still trying to recover from fatigue, only went to a chinese supermarket.  Day 6 is going to be another long post as I went to Dubai Expo 2020.

Thanks for reading,  hope you guys like the pics and finds them interesting.
