Life in Abu Dhabi UAE, Day 26

 Date: 11/04/2022 (Mon)

Went out with my kid sis to Marina Mall cos I found that there's a Ritual shop, wanted to get more...

Fairmont Marina Hotel looked amazing behind the mall.

At 40 degrees, we stepped out of car and literally ran into the mall for dear life.

The mall was almost deserted lolxx...

We took more than half an hour to find a place to eat, Lips Cafe, what a name lolxx...

Trying to wake myself up with a cuppa.

We ordered pasta each, came in a huge portion, should had just ordered a plate to share.

It's a delicious meal.

After filling up tummy, it's time for shopping!!

This brand do not have any retail in Singapore, although available online but the range is extremely limited.

Bought more shower foam, shower oil (yes, good for dry skin and cold climates) and a car freshener while my sis stood outside with her phone, she was on the phone most of the time either with her children or emergency at work she explained.

I suddenly remembered I hadn't done my PCR test, so got it done at the clinic.  Not sure what's the current situation, but during my visit a negative test is required every 10 or 14 days which will be updated on the local phone app to allow access to malls and tourist attractions.
Atas clinic, but PCR test price was the same throughout the region.

Country pumpkins in town visiting high tech supermarket.  These are scanners attached to the shopping cart.  Purchases scan items in the cart and payment can be made through an app, no need to go through cashier, can go straight to the car with trolley cart lolxx...

The huge supermarket didn't take long to break my legs.

Sat down and had ice cream outside the supermarket while waiting.

Leaving the mall, so that the driver could had enough time to pick up my another baby sis when she off work.

On the way back, he suggested we should take a look at the Giant Flag.

It looked like an ordinary flag in photo but it's actually 122m tall, super huge!

Heritage Village which we gave it a miss after reading reviews.

But the skyline was amazing, totally worth the visit.  I wished I could spend more time here to relax, enjoy the breeze, watch the seagulls, awww........

Another beautiful sunset on the way home.....

01/12/2024 Other than the NTUC supermarket, Singapore Pools had the most business.  Why people keep trying their luck when the odds are so...
