Spend time with Darren before he flew off to Mauritius.
Starting off with a 20mins cab from check point to Mount Austin.
Saw this in FB. Interesting shop name but food was average.
We had a peaceful lunch anyway.
It was RM38 for the 2 of us.
We looked for nail salons around the area but were all full. Decided to look for massage instead, then chance upon this guy, he brought us to his shop at the older side of Mount Austin. Luckily he was a good guy lolxx...
Anyway, this was so so so good. I wouldn't mind to come back again.
Where on earth to find 1hr foot massage + 1hr body massage for S$36! And got skill one hor, not any how de.
Walked around trying to find a nail salon. Found one which was next to a hotel lobby.
The hotel lobby got a cute dinosaur heehee...
Darren's buff shine mani pedi was RM110 and my gel pedi was RM88.
While their weak currency is absolutely to our advantage, I do sympathize with them, how they survive...
We checked into St Giles around 6pm. One night stay was RM345 with breakfast. Comfy bed, with amenities, ironing board/iron and buffet breakfast. Love it, not looking for a chance to do it again, heehee...
Liked this sitting area but didn't find time to chill here.
The best thing about this hotel was that it's attached to Mid Valley Southkey Mall. My first time here, Darren's numerous.
Dinner in the mall.
Mala pork belly with rice.
Pork belly slab, delicious but after a few bites became too heavy.
Total bill was S$17 only. Despite of the wrong choice, I saw other tables having really nice dishes, hope to come again.
Next was a splurge here.
Purchase tix at this counter and not at the cinema.
Lounge area free to use, not including beverage and food.
Even the washroom was very atas with a vanity corner.
This was the most luxurious cinema experience ever with a hefty S$70+ per tix.
One drink and finger snack was included.
Forgotten what hot tea this was.
The most difficult thing was trying not to fall asleep. We watched KungFu Panda lolxx...
Freaking delicious nachos.
Mango pudding was ok.
After movies walked to hotel and snooze straight away. Fantastic life lolxx...

Buffet breakfast.
The table beside us had a baby and 2 children between 2 to 4 years old. The mother was in a total mess, no joy on father's face either. 贴钱买难受。
To each's own I never brought my children when they were babies for vacation no matter how short and how near.
The place was super big to accommodate the crowd.
Food was average.
But I enjoyed this 2D1N vacation a lot, had to do this again heehee...

The pool was smaller than I thought.
Gym which Darren wanted but yet to lazy to use.
After checking out we continued to explore Mid Valley Southkey.
I went to do my hair while Darren went for facial.
Dinner at Madam Kwan’s, total about RM75.
Not bad sia, yummy.
After dinner we shopped a bit at Chanel and Uniqlo before taking a train back home.
