CB kicked in with many ignoring

As the CB (Circuit Breaker) kicked in till 4 May, no more dinning out.  Any person with an average IQ will know that this is not going to end in a month.  People were having "count down parties", chiong out for their last meal and join the crowd in wet/super markets.  To avoid the crowd,  I stayed and lived with whatever there was at home from these few days.

I predicted that there will be a sharp rise of cases with many new clusters created by these people who chiong out like 7 month ghost between 4th to 7th Apr.  (This is a back dated post, so indeed, average new cases are 100 each day now...)  

Pic from a friend went to the airport.  Not sure when will the tables and chairs see day light.

Asked hubby to ta bao fish soup bringing our own Tupperware.

Le hubby is not working from home, he stayed at the warehouse now.  He bought a loaf of bread and gotten another loaf free.  So we gonna eat bread everyday liao -___-

I made pandan toast with kaya, butter corns and fluffy scramble eggs.

My boys scrapped their plates clean, the happiness in me over flow to see the brothers getting closer.

My harmonious family is my greatest achievement in life.

Egg toast with cheddar cheese and SPAM luncheon.

Oh gawd, this was sooooo yummy!

The house ran out of greens but it's not worth to risk myself outside for groceries.

Dinner done with oyster sauce chicken, sweet sour prawns (a bit burnt but I like) and oden.  We couldn't finish the soup, kept it and was put to good use the next day.

Last 2 packs of udon for Luis and me.

Pork shabu from Giant.

Meal was done within 15mins with left over oden.

It's yummy, I am so proud of my laziness lolxx....

After that went Polyclinic with Darren to request for referral letter to a skin specialize.  Every time he go Polyclinic and come back with useless creams, haiz....  I used to play Pokemon whenever I was out, but now I had to watch out of people who walked close to me so that I can "siam" away.  Anyway it's a relieve that the clinic was not crowded.

PapaVoo ta bao dinner, had quite a bit to wash up since we were using our own containers.

After dinner we went Sheng Shiong, I freaked out when I saw the crowd.  I thought those heroes were all done yesterday?!?  Wearing a mask was the only minimum protection I had and I never believe 1m social distant is safe enough.  Social distant was impossible along passage ways.

A few families were having a great time shopping with toddlers and young children running around with masks.  Will they regret if they children contracted the virus?  They will be send to hospital alone and parents cannot even see them.  Can you imagine how horrifying this is?

I'll try to go during mid nite.  COVID is spreading like fire, never in my life I feel so scared to step out of my house.

More and more COVID cases.  Singapore is not as safe as we thought now...

Date: 02/04/2020 (Thurs)

Wore mask out for hospital appointment.  "Wear mask if you are feeling unwell" is RUBBISH.

Wearing a mask prevents one self from unknowingly spreading virus, also to help to lower the chance of getting infected.

2 aunties were chit chatting away in the bus, so I sat far away from them.

The screening in the hospital was (too) relax, simply fill up a declare form, no temperature was taken.  The clinic was crowded with people and I had no where to hide/run.  Fortunately from seeing the doc to wait was under 1hr.  I was freaking out.  With so many humans around me, who was a virus carrier nobody can tell??

I left home empty stomach.  Was thinking to tahan until I reach home.  Took a peek at the foodcourt nearest to the bus stop, it was almost empty.

I had a 6 seater table all by myself, I ate quickly and left ASAP.  I felt like a sneaky ghost lolxx...

Went Supermarket to buy some grocery.  There were a few people in front of me at the cashier.  I already had hunch that there might be another panic buy due to the accelerating situation.  So I held on, finally paid and bag off home.

Ribs were so expensive oh gawd...

Cooked dinner for PapaVoo and myself.

The pot of fish and tofu soup was so yummy.

Thought of buying a kalimba to play with, but all the onlines were badly choked up, put in cart first till I am sure that deliveries are smoothen out.

Made breakfast at 2.30pm, so absurdly late I know heehee... 

Meat balls and pancake were frozen products from IKEA.

While we were happy and cozy at home, panic buys kicked in again (affecting idiots only, sorry).  PM Lee hadn't even open his mouth, hello?!?

At 4pm, listened to PM Lee while preparing salted veg soup with my expensive pork ribs.

By end of Apr if there's no improvement, it's going to be very very serious, we are all going to be in deep shit.....

Singapore used to be a model country on controlling COVID 19 but it's gonna to be ruined by these bunch of people:

There were big crowds EVERYWHERE.  These crowds from 3 to 5 Mar may be creating new clusters.  If this happen, a conservative number of 300 cases from these 3 days may add on to our daily new cases.  These ppl are nothing but a burden to our country.  I am really pissed off.

I feel threaten and unsafe.

Went to Oakwood today.  Supposed to cook dinner but weirdly my sis persuaded me not to.  Probably our eating habits are too different already.

Made Dalgona coffee for the first time.

Bro in law bought one big load of dinner with drinks.  He's so warm and nice, long ago he was very quiet and distant.

PapaVoo was unable to stay put despite of me telling him not to go out.  He loves going to the market to chit chat like the rest of those old men.  I think he will go nuts if there's a lock down.

I see in FB many people kbkb why no lock down.  Those people also funny one, it one's own choice whether to stay at home or not.  If gov never announce, cannot own self stay at home is it??  I think they want to stay at home, do nothing and expect the gov to shower them with money.  I actually don't sympathize with people who doesn't save up for rainy days, but some low income families with medical burdens are probably going to have a tough period.

Also another group of ppl keep asking why never close school.  Damn funny also, if you are worried, then just keep your children at home.  So what if the school marks them absent?!?  Absent better than at risk right?

Everything also wait for government, your life you cannot decide for yourself arh??

For me, I already stay put at home le, the rest of you can await for further "instructions"....

This day it snowed heavily in Tokyo.

If this pandemic never happen, Luis and I are there to witness the spectacular view of full bloom sakura in snow, freezing in awe (cos we probably didn't bring enough to wear).  When I looked at the video clips and photos online, it's so 凄美 that my heartache.  Please do not console me by telling me there's next year, cos this rare sight of snow in spring occurred now and previously was 36 years ago.   Tell me it's going to happen again next year?  Yes?  No?

Luis brought back home made popiah from Eileen house.  Gonna be next day's breakfast.

Brunch at 1.30pm.

Texture not so good already, but don't waste food.

Saw this online, the drawing speaks more than words.

Too kiasi to go out to work now, and am very careful not to dig too much into my savings.  But this means getting a better job may be difficult in time to come.  I think my future trip to Switzerland 冷过水 (no hope) already.

I made Dalgona coffee.  I whisked and put the foam onto hot milk cos I preferred hot drink in the morning.

The foam bubbled and melted into the milk lolxx...  it's still a great start for the day anyway.

I left my bed later and later as days went by which is not very healthy.

This day was 2.30pm.  After which I worked my way through with house from 3 to 6pm, so much so that my ankle hurts.

But looking at the news, despite of all the efforts, cases were increasing everyday.

I wouldn't be surprise if there's a partial lock down.  So I die die had to stock up 10 days of food.

Went IKEA for dinner.  They were controlling the number of people entering the cafe.  I almost walked away at the sight of the queue.  I gave it max of 15mins, luckily we gotten in within 10mins.

Salted egg fried wings were freaking yummy.  I had lobster pasta but I lost the pic >.<

We bought meatballs, hot dog, frozen waffles and pancakes from IKEA before going to GIANT.

Nothing to panic about yet, so won't buy excessively.  Also when I was buying, I was already thinking if my kitchen cabinets can store them or not.  There's no way I'll leave things on my kitchen counters, EVERYTHING must be kept.

Bought a packet of toilet rolls and other stuffs spending about $130 which is about the same amount I would spend normally if I go GIANT.  The supermarket was actually slightly more crowded then usual weekdays.  Some brands of canned food were sold out but I guess couldn't be too fussy during this period of time.

Came back home, packed until I die.  I was dead on bed and saw this:

Not sure if this would induce another wave of panic buys for idiots.  Glad that I did my shopping and wouldn't had to force myself with the crowd.

Gave myself a break from house work, cooked dinner.  Boiled broccoli, pan fried cheese tofu and steam chicken with chicken essence.

  Nowadays I cooked brunch for myself almost everyday but seldom dinner cos the kids are always not around and my old man also don't really appreciate.  He said I spend too much money on buying groceries (which had really pissed me off but no point arguing farther), actually he rather spend the money on ta bao, so be it.  Shouldn't be complaining cos it's easier and less tiring for me.

I kept a few pieces of the marinated chicken from yesterday's dinner.  

I pan fried the chicken, then cracked an egg and added lettuce, poured the whole lot onto 出前一丁.  Ate at 2.30pm and was too full for dinner after that.  However didn't lost any weight even with one meal a day lolxx...

Oman will be shutting down their airports completely on 29th, my sis decided to stay.  Nobody knows if this is the correct choice.   I just want her to be safe and sound.  God please watch over my poor little cat who's all alone there.

First meal of the day at 3pm >.<

Pumpkin porridge, then I pan fried SPAM luncheon and egg to go with.  This is so good, I need to cook this combi again.

I am secretly hoping that this type of social distant will go on forever.

No more ppl queuing behind me breathing down my neck and no more sitting next to strangers where I want to talk to my family also difficult.  But what about buses and MRT??

It's not working....

A total lock down will cause a lot of inconvenience and panic.  The gov allows the malls to remain open so that people still can purchase what they need.  But from what I see people are taking this from granted.  Die die need to go out, die die wants window shopping.  If this goes on, I think will have no choice but to leave only supermarkets and pharmacies open, the rest close.

Other than my cancelled Japan trip, life is basically the same for me with or without COVID-19.  I am very protected in my own "cave" unless, suay suay le hubby or my son who's working and greatly exposed outside kena and bring home the virus, then it will be 天意 liao, choy choy choy....

Being alive is more important than anything else

It's always tough whenever I stop housework for a day.  I cleaned one fan and change bed sheet on top of other general cleaning.  Was dead beat.

I was craving for Shabu Sai.  Was tired but still went out anyway.  Dinner was rewarding after a day of hard work.

We had 8 plates of meat and 6 portions of minced meat, hit "quota" liao.

It was less crowded, not good for the economy but good for me.  I hate it when every step I walk there's people blocking my way.  Saying "excuse me" it's "rude" to me.  So I drive myself nuts by zig zag walking.

Walked over to Uniqlo to see look.  I will walk into this store even though I have nothing to buy.  Cos I am constantly looking for their sales items.  Great buy of the day $9.90 autumn hoodies:

This is for Luis, PapaVoo bought "Starwars" for himself.  One day, we will travel again, one day.... but don't know when...

I saw on news, Hanami went on in Tokyo despite of local government's advise.  With so much crowd, I predict that there will be another big wave of outbreak.  What a relieve, for the first time, I am glad that I am not there.  Being alive is more important than anything else.

Currently watching 两世欢, cos 大唐法医 was taking forever to load.  Not sure if I will continue with it cos the female lead was a 水性杨花 (slut) toying feelings between 2 guys yet act until so innocent omg....  First week love Guy A, 2nd week love Guy B, 3rd week back to Guy A and repeat, wa lau eh.......  Slap her sia.

两世欢 at least dun have such nonsense.  Any way, my breakfast at 1pm.

That big ball of iceberg lettuce forever cannot finish cooking.
