OFF YEAH!

I cooked myself brunch, eggs, tread fin and some edamame with corn porridge.

I managed to tidy up the place quite a bit so I was very happy.  Evening went Century Sq to have dinner and replenished some household items.

Can see people love it here, it was crowded even on a weekday.

We ordered a mini buddha jump.

All soups here tasted the same no matter which you ordered, only the ingredients inside were different.  There were abalone slices, chicken and fat mushrooms.

A portion of fried rice was filling enough for old man and me.

Some dim sum here, 不饱才怪.

Working dinner shift and I like it cos could sleep as late as I like.

Making a bit of research, I think I am including Nikko in my Japan trip.  I am attracted by the natural reserves and onsen there.  Imagine staying in a place surrounded by mountains and rivers, also onsen....  Relax a bit before playing hard in Tokyo...

Bought this from Chateraise as tea break, 吃饱可以睡了.

Hubby came home when I was about to fall asleep.  He fished me out of bed and we went to airport.

Jewel was crazy beautiful.  A&W and Shake Shack's queues were ever lasting, I guess I can only eat them in overseas.

We had dinner at Kam Roast.

I was happy with the crispy pipa duck, so sinful, yum yum...

Yeah, my mood is better these few days cos the house looks tidier (though I still can't find time to wipe off the dust on top of various cupboards).  Also I managed to persuade him to buy a normal set of sofa.  Previously I had made do with 2 tatami arm chairs.  Not that I don't like them any more but I had difficulty in getting up each time I sat down.  Difficulty means painful knees and ankles, haiz....  He didn't understand the pains I am having but he still agreed to let me buy whatever that makes me happy.

Was exhausted when I reached home, but it was still enjoyable loitering around in the airport.

Sad birthday

After yesterday's painful lesson, I lie on bed 20hrs with my phone.  The rest of the 4hrs was to pee, eat, bath.

It took me many days to realise that I had to wrap the entire shoe with wet paper else the yellow water stains would start to appear at other areas of the boots.

By the time most yellow stains were gone, mold appeared T__T

I gonna see if the sun can lessen mold.

The most unhappy birthday ever despite of messages from friends and family.

Gotten 2 slice cakes from Luis and Eileen, they probably couldn't get a birthday cake.

Will anybody cry if I die?  It's sad to know that I am not priority in anybody's heart.

All the more I need to love myself, cos I can't force people to love me.

Ever since PMDs were banded, have to order GrabFood 1hr in advance.

Hubby said I waste money (or act rich).  But I was just using money to buy more free time and conserve energy so that I could go to work later.  Food deliveries saves life, if only this service was available when my children were young, life would definitely be so much more easier.

Luis wanted me to join him in next year's AFA event.  I shall be Mei (Overwatch).

I already looked like her in summer clothes.  We decided to make her robot Snow Ball and the gun cos it was about US160 over dollars to buy the set.  We will install LED lights and I am gonna rock the event! Lolxx...

Luis said he will help me with the assembly but again, I better take the responsibility myself.  I had rough idea on how to go about but the hands on is going to be very challenging for me.  I hope to at least get the materials ready at next year Jan after leaving GrabFood.

End work at 2.30pm but stayed back to eat and finished up odd works, left at 3.30pm.

After work, went FaceShop to buy cleansers and a new moisturiser for Luis.  I snailed so slowly that I reached home only at 5pm haahaa....

Hubby went to collect free gift from LG washing machine.

He gotten 5 big boxes of laundry powder which came in sheets.  It very interesting to use and I think it's going to last me till after CNY lolxx..

After lunch shift, went to visit my old father.  It's physically challenging for me as I was already feeling weak at work.

But cooking a meal for him was the least thing I could do.  Cooked minced pork porridge for him.

Nowadays he wasn't too responsive and didn't swallow too well.  I so worried that he might have to be tube fed one day, pains me so much to see him suffering like this.  I am hoping to spend more time with him, after leaving GrabFood.  How to have both worlds without tearing myself apart...

Grab app was down during the lunch peak hour resulting in bad sales, so sad.

Brought home lots of food.

Ate around 4pm and I didn't feel hungry throughout the day.

PapaVoo was a great help today, he mopped and did the laundry.  So I was able to tidy up the house and did some ironing, the house was at least not chaotic any more.  My heart felt so much lighter.  Feeling happy for the first time since we came back from China.

After work ended at Eunos, requested hubby to bring me to eat frog's leg porridge.  He brought me to Sinma.  We had tofu, the topping was minced pork with minced dried shrimps, very very nice.

This was forever good, $16 for 3 frogs.

I ate slowly, enjoyed every mouthful, thankful for the meal that brought a bit of happiness.

This was my last meal around 4pm before my surgery tmrw.

In the evening, I drank 2 litres of this.  It smells like leaked gas and probably this was how liquid gas tasted like.

Sibei 苦命 to go through this.  Went to the toilet, it was good detox.

Date: 02/12/2019 (Mon)

4.30am, I drank 800ml of that medicine.  Went back to sleep, woke up at 6.30am and flushed out the 800ml.  Reached the hospital slightly late for 7.30am appointment.

I was given a bed, a set of pink top and skirt, and a needle on my hand, slight ouch.  I was pushed to the theater on this bed.  As I wasn't allowed to wear glasses or lens, everything was blurred in a good way.  One of the Dr said that she was going to inject some medicine through the needle on my hand.  I decided to close my eyes and let her do whatever she need....

The next moment I opened my eyes, I was back in the ward already, I had no idea what happened in between.  I thought I was supposed to be conscious lolxx...

No pain but just that I was weirdly tired as if I had mopped the house 10 times.  I was made to stay till my low blood bounce back.

Hubby wheeled me to get medicine, then we went home, everything was smooth sailing.

No appetite for lunch, slept throughout the afternoon.  Evening, had some porridge.  After which I thought I was well enough, so I started to do some housework.  Over estimated myself, felt faint followed by pain.  All he did was play with his ipad, the mess in the house had nothing to do with him.  He wasn't aware of what's happening.  Sometimes I imagine if I drop dead at home, he probably will never know until I decompose de.....

I showered quickly and hurried back to bed.  The pain got worst and I had to take panadol to get to sleep.  From then I know, I had no choice but be a pig and lie down on bed.

When can things ever gets better?  When?

I didn't share any of these in other social media sites.  I like this space here cos only a few of you reads this blog and the.... most of you don't know me in real person.  I don't want to let my friends know then I have to answer and thank them, very tiring de....  And yet at the same time, I want some one out there to know there's someone, an ordinary person, little old me, with constant contradictions in life, but continues to move forward trying to make a better living.

2 usual work days at Fort Canning.

Fri the washing machine came.  It's a 9kg sized top loader from LG.  Matches my kitchen perfectly and absolutely cool looking with LED lights.

My adorable old man actually watched it, very fascinated by the rotating drum.  He have this special child like charisma, which was how I fell in love with him.  Whenever he smiles, it's so genuine that the whole world smiles too.   And it doesn't take much to make him happy actually.  But now it really drains my energy taking care of this over grown kid lolxx...  If I should die, who will take care of you, my dear...

Off day, had to go to visit my old father.  Close one eye 2 eyes to my own dirty dusty house.

Arrived early enough to prepare lunch.  Made steam prawns with butter garlic for the first time, looked and tasted way better than Jeju Kitchen's.

The cat occupied the long coach, so I squeezed onto the smaller one but manged to snore the whole noon after lunch.

When I was about to leave, I saw these at the stairs, I wanted to faint.  The other cat, Sappy did it.

The bird couldn't be found anywhere in the house, I......... oh gawd....... haiz..... but this is a cat's natural behavior.

Hubby came to pick me up, we went to an old friend's BBQ at West Coast.

We bought taiwan jelly over, took photos cos I would like to buy this again.

BBQ was great.  Not able to eat the salad was an agony.

No choice lah, instructed by Dr cannot eat fiber before colonoscopy.

Off day, my only free day to do housework till maybe 2 weeks later.  Yup, things were really bad at my side, 叫天不应，叫地不灵.

Cooked lunch for Luis and myself.   Stir fried udon and I made sausage in egg rolls.

We had dinner at Jeju Kitchen in Tampines One with Luis, Eileen and PapaVoo.  It's kinda my last sinful heaty yummy meal before my day surgery.

Prawns, not good.

Kimchi fried rice with pork belly, they named this volcano rice.

Stayed in the mall, we managed to purchase a washing machine at Gain City.  The sales rep was very friendly else we could had walked away as we didn't know much about top loads and which to chose.

PapaVoo and I gave this a try cos only a few ppl were queuing at the counter.

But then the wait was horribly long for about 30mins -___-|||

I think I found my fav bubble tea.  The konjac jelly was so yummy chewy, the aroma of tea was strong, the milk cream was so creamy with addictive saltish taste, I LOVE IT!!
