Online better, stay home better

My post had over 100 likes at Donki's page.  Something that will not happen in my own page ever lolxx...

Brunch, lasagna (from Angliss).

Swiss roll from Polar, Darren's work place gave him 2 rolls.

I am trying so hard to finish them off sia.

I think my purpose of staying home is to receive parcels.

Deep frying pot came from Shopee.  Looks so pretty and it came with a thermometer, yeah!

However the material is very thin, not a solid kind of pot.  But should be good enough for occasional use.

Since it came, I decided to use it for dinner.

I deep fried the mini yam baskets with scallops and prawn paste chicken both from Angliss.

The cod fish wasn't buttery enough, no wonder so cheap.  Next time have to stick back to Angliss.

Spinach with crab stick was very yummy.

Taka's empty event hall.

So ended up the shoppers crowd in a small space inside instead of having a bigger space at the event hall which is probably more efficient in social distancing.

This is at B2.

Waiting for a filthy rich shopper to take it home.

This is at B1.  Which I queued for more than half an hour to get in, nabei.

I need to put the $100 vouchers to good use, else I go home liao, queue until my legs sore lor, damn angry de.  This kind of social distancing simply waste time de.  When all these ppl goes into the MRT/bus then "un-do" what ever social distancing they had done.  Retail shopping is no longer enjoyable, online better, stay home better.

A lot of items where sold out at Mdm Ling.

PapaVoo came just in time after my shopping was done.

We had "kid's meal" at MOS Cafe.  Shake head at the portion, 1st and last visit, thank you.

We bought bread and ta bao dinner for the kids at the food court where we used up the last $20 Taka vouchers.  Food was so good, regretted not eating at the food court instead.

So expensive, my heart will bleed if I use his money to buy these.  But voucher never lah.

You are looking at pineapple tarts, cuttlefish rolls, hae bee hiam rolls, rock melon and mango tarts (taiwan style).

Bought a few piece clothes, though other than Oakwood I won't be going anywhere else.

Made this pulled pork burger for Darren before he went to work.

I went to Daiso, then to Mr Bean to grab 7 tins of egg rolls.  2 for myself and the rest to distribute lolxx...

Stir fried bee hoon with marinated wings from Donki which I air fried.

There were some more wings in fridge, so I air fried again for Darren before he went to work.

Dinner was my old man and me.  Nowadays I don't cook dinner often.  He sometimes complain the hassle to ta bao, but I turned a deaf ear, cos if I buy ingredients to cook, his face turned really black.  I can probably buy once or twice a week, which is only enough to cook lunch for the boys and occasional dinner.

Watching a korean drama 哲仁王后 (Mr Queen).  Laugh die me.  But watching korean drama always takes up a lot of time.  As in I can't just listen and do other things, really have to watch the screen to read the sub titles.

PapaVoo's is obsessed with AMM.  He should request coffin from them so that I can wash my hands clean off him.  Can't believe an entertainment app can drift us apart, but I am trying not to be too affected or concerned.

This little guy, one of the entertainment artist in AMM, however is a very lovable kid which I adore as well and we are helping him in any we could.

He had a Live session at our house using the ring light PapaVoo bought for him.  If one day this cute boy becomes famous, we will have something to boast about lolxx...  I used to have a customer who played majong with Jay Chou before he became famous, waahaahaahaa......

After that we had Luk Kreung mookata for dinner.

Dinner wasn't satisfying, prepared supper at 9pm.  These were durian mochi from Angliss.

Date: 14/01/2021 (Thurs)

After some communications, she was agreeable to re-organize her cutlery drawers next week.  She was probably having a lot of struggles within herself, logically I am sure she knew it's good to improve her living, but mentally it's challenging..... I don't know what's running through her mind.  I swear that I never shame her or criticize in anyway, I am treating her extremely cautiously as if I am holding a bomb.

Anyway, I was out of the house all the way to VivoCity around 3pm.

I found Mr Bean outlet over here and was determined to come back to grab these before going home.

I am not a fan of egg rolls to begin with, but these were so good!

I didn't even have time to stop a moment to read the chinese zodiac.

I mistaken that Donki was a the 3rd floor of VivoCity.  With all the usual exits blocked, I was "trapped" in VivoCity for more than half an hour before I could get out and go to Harbourfront Center.

Finally gotten into Harbourfront Center, it took me another half an hour to locate Donki.

I walked until I wanna die de..... all becos of these....

The curious cashier asked why I bought so much, lolxx...

After I settled with my kid sis's barang, time to shop for my family.  I bought some tibits which I will keep them out of sight till CNY.  And when I was done at the cashier, struggling with the shopping bags, PapaVoo appeared right there to save me.  That very moment I love him to death.

Then we went back to Mr Bean and my darling egg rolls were sold out T___T

Nevertheless, we tugged back quite a bit and took me almost an hour to put them in respective places.

Haven't try the noodles yet but will be keeping the ang bao packets for dear life.  Should be enough, cos not many children to give.  The important ones will be my old father, my niece and nephew, my sons' gf Ber Ber and 宝宝, that's all.  Oh ya and the helper.

12am already can't blog farther, update again tomorrow.

When the reaction wasn't what I expected....

Made simple lunch, XLB never goes wrong, opened a canned of curry chicken and the boys were happy.  The chicken not crispy enough, I should had put them into the air fryer instead of griller.

Darren bought a $500 gaming arm chair, it's a dream come true to him.  The box was big enough to fit me in.  Luis helped to assemble the chair, it was very heart warming to see the brothers working hand in hand together.

Had these for tea break, nice buy from IKEA.

Mopped the floor and never cook dinner.

Little Ber came, so I made soup for dinner.

The soup turned up a bit bland, but easy and mild to drink.

Shell big big, scallop small small, felt so cheated.

Sambal brinjal and tofu, me bad, I dried out the dish.

Marmite ribs from Angliss, quite yummy.

No money to change phone although the contract was due.  Bought a new case, it's Nezuko, awwwww..... I love her so much............ awesome right?  I can hold her in my hand everyday every moment.

Luis fixed up the wall leak with the spray, looked promising, probably will ended my years of agony.

My sis asked me to clean the kitchen, so the first thing I do was to clear the pantry.  Probably there's a serious miscommunication, her clean may means "wipe the doors and shelves".  My clean means wipe but with packing up.

I took out everything, the supply can feed a kampong.  Although I had informed her of what I would be doing, it was still very hard for her.

I hate myself for not taking a "before" pic.  Before, the entire counter top was covered with all sorts of tins, biscuits, tibits, healthy and unhealthy food.  The only empty area was the small space in front of the microwave and rice cooker.

I told them to put snacks on the white rack only, else things will revert back to it's old self if they start putting items on the counter top.

I thought she would be happy, but the very next day, she told me she was stressed up with the change and that she needed some time to adjust herself....... So she very nicely stopped me from coming for the rest of the week and gave me specific dates to go over the next week and the week after.  I don't understand how a clean and cleared counter top can look stressful to her, but I acknowledged how she felt.  Though rather shocked at her reaction, I was happy to have a break and mind my own business and house.

After the tough work, PapaVoo came to pick me up for dinner.

I was craving for HDL over the last weekend, but it's easier to get a table on a weekday.  PapaVoo made an effort to bring me to this outlet at Seletar Mall.  Nowadays he took more pics than me and post on his FB story.

We had fish slices, porridge and some other side dishes not in the pic.

He was constantly on the phone with both work and leisure, which was good, so that I could eat slowly while he poured food into his mouth.  We were eating on the same table separately.  Honestly, I am not upset cos the meal was too good, yums.....
