So much time in the kitchen

My sons and I took 2 each.

Coffee was great, running out soon.

This chinese herbal pack had been in the fridge for so long..... I finally brewing it.

I decided to reorganize one freezer drawer while watching over the fire.

I gave the drawer a quick wipe and used the freezer safe containers gotten from Wang Lei.

The tea was so nice infused with aroma of the dried orange.

Still stayed in the kitchen, I particularly cleaned the narrow gap on the air fryer poking into with a cotton bud with a wet tissue.

The result was satisfying.

I cooled the tea before putting into the fridge.  Then the biggest mishap happened, the dispenser, dispensed itself in the chiller and all over, 没得喝。

After cleaning and sighing, cooked mee pangsit for dinner, thank god not much washing.

A noon at Yishun

My kid sis supposed to pick me up at Khatib MRT, she was a bit late, I bought myself a cake at 7-Eleven.  I was hungry yet didn't have appetite at the same time.

We went to visit our uncle (my father's younger bro).  He, unfortunately diagnosed with liver cancer but refused treatment.  He literally fled out of the hospital after the diagnosed and was home since more than a month ago.  All the while he has weird mentality, very iron teeth kind, but above all I felt very sorry for him and his family.  The house started to hoard and smell.  I will try and see if they can allow me to help them to clean the house a bit.....

We left to pick up my little nephew and went to danger zone North Point.  Thank god, bo lang.  My sis had to go eat herself while me and little Karsten went DingTaiFeng.

Mega dumpling was $12.90 I think.

Palm-sized, but drink the boiling hot soup with the given straw was a very bad idea.  After taking this pic, I pressed a spoon on the dumpling to get the soup instead.

Adorable size, tasted a bit under compared to the usual XLB.

After lunch, we made a quick trip to NTUC and parted.

Back home, delivery from SHC came.  Finally gotten my long wanted Swee Choon hae bee hiam but the expiry date was 30/11, so near.

Dinner, air fried curry mid wings.

Made some Japanese curry, covered rice, done.

Later part of the night, another delivery came.  We bought some vegetarian products which came with free containers.  I was really happy with I found that the containers were freezer safe.

Had muscat grapes for supper.  Why are they called muscat grapes when they are not from Muscat?

(Muscat is a desert sia.)

People plunged in without knowing what's ahead.

Operations in everything may not be smooth, those that wanted to be the first to head out may have to face unforeseen hiccups, what's the hurry to fly unless it's for business/essential.

Rot at home weekend

PapaVoo very clever, saw long queue, he went to buy lunch first, after buying lunch came back to see, no queue, so he gotten these in 5 or 10mins.

They were still pipping hot when bought home, so freaking yummy sia.  But I cannot eat too much deep fried food.

Preparing dinner with these sichuan skewers.

I steamed the saba fish, didn't bother to sear it.

Really nice, would be perfect if they were spicy.

All the things had been shifted into the beds and the living room was finally cleared.

Meanwhile PapaVoo and Luis assembled the table, urrrrggg.... the color is so wrong with the rest of the furniture.

Luis shifted his mess from the floor to his new work bench.  It's a disaster area now, I doubt he will organize it, I see what I can do before Xmas...

Posted on Carousell but no luck, waiting for another 2 weeks before calling Town Council ba, haiz.... I want some cash sia..... Such a nice little wardrobe nobody want sobs...

Let's hope it's a temporary measurement ba.....  I know a few FB friends cannot take the vax due to medical condition, but I know a lot ppl didn't feel the need.  So these restrictions kina forced these group of ppl to take the vax ba.....

Egg toast with cheese for everybody, I am running out of paper plates.....

Ta bao dinner.  He did the washing, then he said he back ached.

Brainless and fearless with pandemic

Real work started really late at 5pm, not completed as the light grey wall paper hadn't arrive.

Didn't cook dinner but was still busy in kitchen.  Looked at a crime scene lolxxx...

I just cut up some beetroot for juicing.

Love packet rice once in a while and my beetroot juice.

It's not entirely the gov's fault, overall Singaporeans don't have a mind of their own.  The gov say vaxed already can go out with masks and enjoy till the fullest, so they obeyed, and this is result.

Many didn't know this not the real figure as those tested positive on ART tests were not counted.

To be on a pessimistic side, I would think, soon the virus would infested everywhere, in every mall, every train, every restaurant, every school...... silently.

I can't afford it with my kind of health..... I will get very sick, but I hope I don't die.

I made sichuan skewers with penne for lunch, heehee.... Turned out quite nice.

Pasta sauce I used soya sauce + garlic.

I cleaned up the pigeon holes and redecorated it.  I forgotten to take the before pic (again), previously was jammed pack.  Lesser items looked better.

Ta bao dinner.  Lam's chicken shrunk, but still good.

Supposed to be lunch, but Luis and I woke up so late that it became a heavy tea break at Tun Xiang around 3pm.  But the good thing was, the restaurant bo liang and I felt a lot safer.

We purposely went O'Brew for the biscuit but it's sold out, omg.....

Halloween is never fun without Woodgrove's parade.... haiz....

We were all waiting for this year's Halloween cos it falls on Sun, but all destroyed by the pandemic.

Luis and I went shopping on different ways and meet up here.

We had milk pudding before heading home.

Shopee delivery came,

Sphere ice mould.

Table came wrong color, but decided to keep it.

The water dispenser fitted in so nicely in the fridge.

Still need to improve.
