Cooking less to do more house work

Requested by Luis, I made lunch for him and 宝宝.  Need to get rid of the cold tofu before they expired, just put them at ambience, then topped with bonito flakes.  Salmon patties and spicy chicken chop.

My baby sis on her journey to Abu Dhabi.  I believe it's a much better place, life will be more interesting especially when Dubai is just an hour drive away.

I wished I was with her.

Went dinner with PapaVoo and Darren in the neighbourhood.  It's a eatery, so no need to clear table (I am still very concern about this stupid rule).

Nice coffee from 宝宝.

Cooked dinner cos my little Ber came.  I am cooking less these days to clean the house.

We had chicken with cordyceps flowers soup, garlic stir fried veg, a pan fried pomfret and XLB.  Dinner was really good.

Washing dishes became less tedious when I don't have to hang dry the laundry after that.   The dryer is so much of help, unbelievable....

I cleaned the shelve at Prime Supermarket.  Wang Lei's triangle love letter was almost double the price of these and tasted about the same.

After that we headed to Bugis.  Had dinner at Rocku.  It used to be so good, not any more.

The buffet was miserable with limited choices.

The best was the striploin.

PapaVoo is his big fan, so we came see look.

Bought pineapple tarts and kinda pressed sunflower seeds in caramel or something.

Exhausted lolxx....

First time Singpost delivery service so good.

I was still in bed lolxx...

What came was ang mo dish soap and dryer sheets.  Local supermarkets don't sell dryer sheets sia, luckily can get online.

Wang Lei's love letter finishing soon.

I think enough butterflies liao.  The rest I will try to use it on the window.  The once mouldy bathroom is now clean, the organizers were doing good.  After this video, I fixed up the 3rd holder, in fact I reapplied adhesive and they didn't drop.  If they drop again I am just going to buy another tray.

Darren bought me breakfast, I made green tea latte to go with.

My baby sis is moving le, finally leaving the toxic job, but it was still emotional to leave friends, the cat and home.

Her movers did a great job, they called her chair "Queen Chair" lolxx...

I washed 2 more Domos.

Current state of the balcony/laundry area, it's a hot mess.  I can't find suitable rattan baskets for organizing, I am not sure how to fix things up over here, so this may have to drag over CNY.

Dripping ceiling in the kitchen and common bath, I painted flex seal over but water still sipped through and melt and wall putty.  I ordered flexi tape this time and it's taking forever to reach.

PapaVoo ta bao Mcdonald's for dinner.  I told him to exclude me.  I made myself dinner.  Mala abalone noodles and cold tofu with bonito flakes.

Cooked dinner, it's always easy with Angliss.  Ribs were pre-marinated.

Luis bought these animal pasta a few weeks back, good time to get it cooked.

The wedges were the first to be gone lolxx...

CNY flower arrangement

Curry polo bun with white rabbit milk tea, heehee....

Came back from Chinatown empty handed the other day, I suddenly remembered Kinex Mall.  This mall bo lang one but the top floor had faux flowers from the whole world.

I thought old man would be annoyed but he even helped to me make up my mind, very thankful, it was a great fruitful trip.

Food was lousy at the basement.  I had braised chicken which was heated up numerous time (I know).

Whatever, what's important was I gotten what I want.

Back home, I was very excited, I took out everything I had at home and put together with the newly bought faux.

They looked like this on the table.

First thing I did was to oil the long neglected tatami table.

Then worked like a clumsy clown till past mid night.

Turned out very satisfying.  Looks pretty good without using a green sponge.  I used cable tie to secure the stalks in place.  It's almost perfect after lighting up with fairy lights.  Thought of adding more lights cos the left twig no lights.

We actually ta bao the pan fried man tou from the Chinatown restaurant, had it for breakfast.

I hang decors for the common bath's tree for fun.  I hadn't been using these decors for so long.

Yup we have a faux plant in the common bath, our common bath looks almost like a hotel's.  I make very sure I don't clutter this precious space.

I took out the fortune cat flag to see if how it looked like with the vase.  This pic looked as if my house very big like that lolxx....

The house was in a mess, let it be, I cooked dinner.

Steamed herbal chicken from Wang Lei, a bit ex, taste not bad.  But I don't understand why need to make until so small, one piece one inch only.  Make bigger easier right?

Hard working me, bathed pink Domo, it later went into the dryer and was out fresh and pink.

Later part at night, I decided to tear down and re-do this wall, cos there were lots of tear and holes, I had enough of it.

Morning drug (though I woke up in noon).  This cheapo machine still doing well.

Coffee + garlic butter bun.  The bun from Angliss is sooooooooo....... amazing.

By the time I was fully awake after coffee and bread, we headed out to Chinatown.  I was hoping to buy something nice.

It's very crowded, social distancing not possible, chances of kena and die was so high, we escaped again.  I don't know when will I use up my luck.

This was actually brinjal, it's a pity that they didn't retain the purple but the taste was very good.

I found nice beer.

Overall food was very tasty but a bit ex, the bill was over $70 without any seafood.

We know it's not safe, but we are sick of hiding.  I had been so cautious the pass 2 years and gotten nothing (literally), wasted 2 years of my life depriving myself from everything.  It's not going to be over for the next few years.....

I should had bought 2 of these little tigers, urrrgg....

It's was a happy trip with old man though we went home empty handed.

Back home, delivery also here liao.

Not sure where my stamina came from but I put up the curtains before mid night.  They were just so cute.

I am hoping to get more things done, so will stop here to charge this low batt lappie.  Hope everybody is doing fine and stay safe ya!
