Re-charge by eating...

My baby sis has a pair of terrapins which was reared for more than 20 years.  One of them bully and bites the other one constantly.  This day my kid sis took one out and it went to the cat's dish and ate lolxx...  Pic was send over for laughs.

Packing continued, grey luggage his, fuchsia pink mine.

I wiped them inside out, sprayed with fabric freshener, air them a bit, done.

We had planned out early dinner, to order from Grab.  But 人算不如天算, it rained.

Luckily there was a last pack of udon and some goodies was found in the freezer.  So that's Darren's last min home cooked dinner before book in.

Along the way was a traffic jam, accident at the opposite lane.

Send my darling Darren in le.... I began to wonder how it will be like if he is no longer living with us.  The day will come when he gets married and have a place of his own.  It's really hard to let go, I love him so much, I wished he can be in my palms forever....

Life goes on with my old man, we went Hillion Mall again.

We had dinner at this Kowloon Bay HK Cafe, it's sad that it's no longer possible to be in the real Kowloon, nobody knows when's all the chaos going to end...

Sat, relax, ate slowly, re-charged a bit.  Other then my forever aching body, I have nothing to complain about life.

Evening shift work was good.  I had enough time to clean the house a bit and cooked myself a bowl of fried rice before leaving for work.

I stuffed hubby's Giordano light down jacket into it's own zipper and it became a neck pillow.

My atas Muji neck pillow is still unbeatable but this is really compact, very convenient to hand carry to the flight.

I made good progress in work, calling customers became a not so difficult job.

Meanwhile Darren was making noise about his skin rashes and the tragic is the National Skin Center doesn't open on Sat and Sun.

Alcohol came in, and many types of beer are going to be available in Grab Hawker Picks soon.

Grapefruit Radley is new too me, gonna get them at Duty Free when we fly back.

Meanwhile, I am not feeling too well (went to the hospital on 4th midnight) but I am trying to do as much as I can.  I have some Halloween photos taken in Woodgrove which I hope to get them edited, organised and post on http://susanwong.blogspot.com/

Not much time left before I leave on 9th.... and when I am away, my 2 blogs will be on leave also.  Will post a bit on my IG.

It's a full day's work at Upper Serangoon.  This day I learnt how to issue orders and do stock updates.  I used to think it's less tiring to work with the computer, but no, it's still tiring.

Bought bubble milk tea from 7-eleven to make myself feel better, however took the wrong straw so couldn't suck up the balls omg >.<

Darren had to do his own laundry, I was too tired, haiz...

Feeling miserable to work.

A very busy off day.  Took out winter gloves/mittens and socks for my sis who's heading to Germany in Dec.

At the same time, I gathered all the autumn sweaters and leggings to be washed.

Then went to meet Luis around 3pm at center to buy present for his girlfriend.  I accompanied him fro a meal at the food court and I ate up all the veg he discarded.  He went home to sleep after that, he was tired after work.   I spend an hour walking around Daiso and Uniqlo before Darren and his father came to meet up with me.  Whole family couldn't be together due to everybody's different work times.  I had to try and take care and pay attention to everybody, so I was like spinning like a restless top, but blissful I would say, for all my love ones...

Taste not bad but red dates were raw, they might as well don't put to save the ingredient.

At the basement of Tampines One, there was another new bubble tea replacing the Taiwanese sponge cake stall.  Happy Singaporeans found a new place to queue.  We will try it after the crowd dies down, no hurry.

We went for 我爱台妹 and it was sooooooo freaking good.

To get good stuff queuing is not always necessary.

Life is so stale...

One of my colleague is a Starbucks addict, I volunteer to be a runner to UE Square.

This is a quiet building with a much less crowded Starbucks.

Only 3 person in front of me, length of queue lesser than 8pax in total.  I gotten my 4 drinks within 10mins.

After work, went home, brain dead + body ache.

Hubby collected Taobao for me.

Merlion clock about $19, placed in kitchen, though I think it fits better in the living room.

Plus shipping cost me around $8.  Other than the mash bag, the quality was really bad.

I almost wanted to throw away the fork and spoon cos the edges were not smooth.  I tried putting in cutlery I have at home but they were too big to fit into the case.  So I actually use a very fine sand paper to file and smoothen the edges of the fork and spoon.  The case was flimsy but I guess I have to bear with these for the time being till I chance upon a better set.

Putting my cutlery to use for the first time.  It was ok, all thanks to my excellent sanding skill.

Full day at work, so I brought a cat pillow to sleep on the table, but still tired haiz....

Left home with Luis.  Bought breakfast to go at bus interchange's Mcdonald's.

Scrambled eggs with sausage so yummy!  But $4 sia, kinda expensive.

After the morning shift, I brought dinner home and some finger food for my neighbours too.

Life is so stale, looking forward to some excitement on Halloween...

Off day, but not exactly.  Simply working at home.

I tried to conserve as much energy as possible by not leaving home.

Made brunch, a beer mug of oatmeal with egg and condense milk and Jap tofu with jap soya salad sauce sprinkled with the very last bit of seaweed in the pack.  Sibei full.

 Laundry, wash toilet, mop, off day over.  How do you guys working full time deal with life??

Spending too much money....

OFF DAY!!!  Oh my 天....

I woke up at 12pm, had milo and biscuit, then went out straight for my 1pm appointment with Healing Touch.  I got to know them through doing a blog for them, and from then whenever I need body massage, this is the only place.

Around $88 for 1.5hrs to ease some body pains off was so worth it.  I felt so much lighter after the session, should had came earlier.

I went to a random hair salon in Century Sq, booked an appointment with a butch hairstylist at 4pm.

1hr plus was good enough for me to order a cake from Pine Garden and bought 21st candle for Darren.

I was a little hungry, so I sat into Laura Cafe.  The cashier and serving crew took forever to serve an elderly lady in front of me.  Not sure who's making things complicated but I waited patiently since I got time.  I really hate 陈咬金 holding up the whole world at ordering counters/cashiers, urrrggg....

When it's my turn, the crew was still "traumatized" by the previous customer, looked at me and looked at my order with a blank face.  I had to tell her "This is my order, my salad order, mine."  Omg..... gek sim....

I had their petite bowl with penne, scrambled egg, saute mushroom and spicy tofu, healthy.

I was the only one give a liliac robe to wear.

I did a scalp treatment, the machine showed my mega magnified scalp before and after.

It's really sad that I didn't have the energy to go JB....  A trim, color and scalp treatment total $190.  Both the color (I hope it was lighter) and trim are quite satisfying till today (easy to manage for my coming trip to Xi An).   Plus the $88 massage and previous splurge on the Puma white bows $75, a good chunk of my Oct salary is gone even before receiving it, haiz.....

Hubby came to pick me up, we bought some food from Tampines Pasar Malam for dinner.

The sweet potatoes ball were quite nice at $3/10pcs.  There were 2 stalls selling the same, both long queue but fast moving.

I only managed to turn on the washing machine, thus the house was left unkept till my next off day.

Working at Fort Canning outlet.  Nothing much in particular.

Grab Hawker Picks giving away Curry Puff plush key chain with $20 spend.  No I didn't have one.

Knock off at 4pm, after work, I went Tampines Pasar Malam again to buy thai satay, came back home to cook a pot of oden with udon, dinner settled.

Brought dinner back.  Darren was having sore throat and didn't enjoy dinner.

Told him to buy sausage egg muffin.  He came back with this:

I very tired working from 11 to 9.30pm 2 times per week..... how to persist till end Dec.  I am now very sure that I will not extend my contract.  I don't hate the job, just that I am not up to it physically.

I brought cat pillow to sleep in between the shift.

I don't understand why he was trying so hard to ruin my surprise for Darren.  He screamed across the room to remind me to take the candles with me.  Darren didn't say anything, not sure if he suspects anything.

I msg the father saying that I will go and collect the cake when I said I am going to the toilet.  The next moment he asked loudly when I am going to collect the cake.  I walked off playing deaf, not sure if others were deaf too.

Before going up to HDL, I msg him to ask if Darren and everybody was seated in, he said yes.  When I went up, they were all starring at me holding the cake at the waiting area.  They were not inside yet!!  WTF!!!  After so much prep all ruined by PapaVoo, I didn't know how to feel any more...

Nevertheless, it was still good to gather.

Weekend reunion was always so short, we drove him back to the camp after the birthday celebration.

My son is now a young adult.

After dropping off our dear boy, we went Hillion Mall for a short walk.  The short walk was pocket bleeding...

Initially wanted to buy the organic chicken essence which was about $56 only.  Ended up topping till nearly $200 to get a free box of traditional chicken essence.

The shopping bag given was huge, I like the prints too, bringing it to Xi An, yay.

Breakfast before work.  I put an egg in the microwave, had 2 little butter buns which I gotten from work last night.

There was a new colleague who reported one hour earlier to work.  But I doubt it's going to help to lessen the OTs cos I know a few are leaving.

I made a mistake, got mixed up with the timing and left work extremely early >.<

I reached Fort Canning station early, went Liang Court.

Saw my fave orange juice vending machine being cleaned and loaded.  Yup, I buy 1 or 2 cups every week.  It's cheaper than juicing at home and save the hassle of clean.

I had a good breakfast at Fun Toast, so good that I was 5mins late for work.  The "indian chief" made so much noise sia, face palm.

"Why are you late huh?  Although it's only 5mins but blah blah blah blah blah...."

Of course I didn't tell him I had breakfast, I just didn't expect Liang Court to be that far from work place.

I became a living dead after 9.5hrs of work, it was really laborious.  My body ache so much that I couldn't sleep.  Can anybody out there relate to the pain I am having??  4am, I made an online booking with Healing Touch, wtf....
