Working for the sake of double pay.

Not sure how many years ago was this hairband, wore it to make myself happy, Merry Xmas.

After work, it rained, I walked into Liang Court to visit the toilet, passed by Dulcet & Studio.  Was attracted by the $12 pandan cream roll, bought it home and it was really delicious.

Xmas dinner was economical porridge, happy and contended.

The eclipse had casted a weird color over, I was weirdly happy with both my sons at home.

Luis assembling vintage game control key chains to sell at weekends' cosplay event.

$6 each, selling like hot cakes, I am so proud of him.

Starting on a new drama after a long break of 3 months.  梦回 is short with total of 40 episodes.

I am always attracted to "time travel" story base.  Male lead handsome like god, female full moon face but adorable.  At episode 20 now and no new uploads for the pass couple of days urrgg.....

Back to work, counting down my last day.  Not that I don't like the job but I was desperate to stop work, sigh..... anyway, hanging on...

After work, I went Century Sq to get tix for Jumanji and went down to the TCM massage parlor in person to book an appointment and got it.  Previously I called, they told me they busy busy busy at ALL the dates I requested.  I feel that they are probably like Nail Palace (that will try not to give you the service after collecting money), sort of regretted.  Now I got the entire Jan to play games with them.

It was unfortunate that two adults seating behind me kept kicking my seat (I hope that some other devil will do the same to them), other than that the movie was great.

After movie, hubby came to pick me up.  We had dinner at the foodcourt.

Walked around the pasar malam, nothing fancy, then walked into Gain City roadshow which was just next to it.  Found a reasonably firm pocket spring mattress with suitable budget, bought it, heehee... happy.  I finally have a spring mattress to sleep on after all these years.  All along had been happy with very hard Seahorse, but now I want to be more comfortable.  Getting old is such a sad fact....

Looking forward to 2020...

After work went to The Central again.  Settled late lunch outside Donki.

I think this was about $14 with a meat combi of beef and pork.

Yummy especially with a soft boil egg.

Love Donki, but this outlet not as big as 313, couldn't find cooking oil spray bottle and computer UV block screen.  Bought some condiments and ta bao dinner.

Gotten tiramisu.

From the left is lychee, original and matcha.

He like so heart pain, so I paid for these.

Saw Old Seng Choong at the 1st floor with no intention of buying, it's a awesome accidental discovery. Ended up buying $100 worth of cookies for distribution to my sons' gf's family and my 2 kid sis.

Their hea bee hiam (spicy dried prawns) cookies is amazing!  And it's only $19+ It's gonna be a crazy good CNY tibit.

Precious off day.  My baby sis came back from Oman but flying off to Bhutan for holiday.

To many Bhutan is exotic, but it's not in my travel list.  I have too many countries not covered yet, money forever not enough but 穷游 (extreme budget travelling) is not for me.  I need decent food, decent accommodation and being able to buy what I like.

So I had it all planned out to have breakfast with her.

After sending her off was just nice for 12.15pm movie.

Bought Lumiere tix at Jewel's Shaw.  No, my feet did not touch ppl's head rest.  The couple seat is slightly recline-able with foot rest. Watched none other than Ip Man 4.

After movie bought dinner home at the food kiosk besides the food court.

Mala noodles from Red Lips not bad, promo price $7.90 lots of ingredients, got fried bean curd rolls, quail eggs, pork belly, fish balls, veg and pin head mushroom.

Also bought korean fish cakes 4pcs $10.

I am looking forward to Jan instead of Xmas.  There's a series of things that I need to get done:

- renew passport

- make an appointment to see an aesthetic doc for a big zest on my face

- book air tix and accommodations to Tokyo

- start using the TCM massage package

- get new bed sheets

- pack the storeroom

- re-organize the toiletries storage

- finish my Xi An blog posts

Then, need to start working again, ideally by Feb, to lessen bank account's damage after the Tokyo trip.

I wasn't able to do the above things cos my days are working outside, come home for routine house work.  Off days are basically nurse my poor health or at Oakwood.  Only recently I have some time, but I can't be pushing myself to the brim, I am near insane le...

Doing dinner shift work.  Alone at home, made brunch for myself:

Add mint to my milo, scramble eggs with milk for extra soft texture, butter toasts with honey, hot dog with fish cake left over from Samjin Amook.

By the way, my new sofa is not going to come before Xmas.  I had read good reviews on their fast deliveries, why is it that when it comes to me, it has to be disappointing?

Opt to work since no celebration at my side.  Hubby was bored, but I was too busy to make him better.

Since he so damn free, I gave him a mission to buy sparkling juice/festive drink around $20-$30 cos Darren is going to his gf's relative place for Xmas party.  It's rude to go empty handed, a bottle drink is very suitable and will always be love by the host.  My Darren nearly went empty handed sia, I wanna die.....

I send him pictures, gave him instructions clear enough for a 3yo and he came back with these:

He proudly told me that it's only $3+ per bottle.  Still can tell me nobody will know the price, he presume ppl stupid.  My head was instantly throbbing with pain sia....  I am going to keep these for marinating meat wtf...

So, after work, I went UE Sq and tagged these pretty heavy bottles all the way back on the stupid extra crowded MRT.  I am pleased with my purchase, but I really sibei tired de....

2 sons out for their parties.  I suggested dinner at Jok Jok Mor, he must be bored to death cos he agreed immediately despite of the location is not near.

Morning shift at Eunos.  Technically nearer but still takes about 40mins to reach work place, same as working at Fort Canning.

Bought bee hoon outside the MRT station, costed me $5, so expensive but the seaweed chicken wasn't even fresh, what a pain.  I should had eaten Mcdonald's instead.

Off day.  Counting down to end of Dec.

I cooked fish porridge again for myself.  Added in an egg and frozen spinach.

Dinner ate fish again at Wang Yuan.  I hope it's doing my butt good.

After dinner we drove to Giant to stock up some instant noodles and canned food.  Yup, I am preparing for my jobless Jan 2020.

Melon in pretty yellow "cape" was $4.90.  Also checked out the price of Tiger Crystal beer.  GrabFood is selling it way cheaper lolxx...

While I am blogging, 2 big heaps of un-iron are looking at me, sigh....  I almost have nothing to wear to work and it's so bad that it's difficult to dig out my own clothes through the heaps.  The heaps just got higher and higher each day, my 2 laundry baskets are over flowing le....  I have no help, so they are going over to 2020 for sure....

So, back to work, I picked my own beer.

Was suppose to send some to Oakwood, but I changed my mind and decided to keep all at home.

Hubby cooked dinner.

Spam luncheon meat was so damn good.  After the washing, I was exhausted, so the clothes piled up further, I am trying to ignore them.  Booked Lumiere tix at Jewel for Ip Man 4 on Sunday, HAPPY.

Rainy nights...

Passed midnite on the lappie, made an order from Tao Bao.  I had saw a blouse which I like on a local online blog shop.  I flashed the photo of it at TaoBao and gotten the exact piece for half the price.

Saw many more loose fit dresses which I was very very tempted to get them all.  They all look good over my fats:

But I better save up for my Tokyo trip and also keep reminding myself how hard I am trying to move towards minimalize life style with less possessions.

I knew I was going die the next morning to work.  Morning felt too nauseated to eat breakfast.  The problem was work only end at 2.30pm which I was famished like a monster by then.

Didn't want to wait for free food, work wasn't busy, so sneaked out to buy a packet of rice.

Hubby came to pick me up, he was hungry, drove to Zion Market, he queued to half an hour for this cha kway teow.  I ate a bit just to see how's the taste. 

Meal times are always odd in weekends.

After sending Darren back to Home Team, we went to eat Mcdonald's for supper around 9pm.

Yeah, before the limited mushroom angus beef burger is gone.

It was good in a cold starry night.

I love working at night, I didn't have to force myself up the bed.

I made fish porridge for myself before going to work.

I had never take advantage of working in Fort Canning so far.  So it's now or never.

Clark Quay was just 5mins walk from my work place, but it's my first time enjoying the loud music and breeze here.  I felt like a tourist.  PapaVoo was very happy, grinning all the way.

Those were the good old days when we were young, those were the nights with lights.  Now all nights only associated with bed and bolster.

I had the whole Donki by ourselves at 10.30pm.

Beef and pork are actually cheaper and of course better than neighbourhood supermarkets.  How I wish they can open one outlet at Tampines.

Eileen came, I whipped up lunch for her and Luis.

Luis said their family only cooks chinese food, so I cooked up japanese.  I made butter clams with prawn cake, tamago and beef sukiyaki.  $10 shabu beef from Donki was more than enough for 3 of us.  Oh, we had udon in miso soup to go with the dishes.

The children helped to clear up while I took my own sweet time to do the washing before going to work.

Working at Eunos outlet.  Didn't feel like at work, cos biz affected by the rainy weather, so we weren't busy.  And my Supervisor turned on very loud music.

I bought sofa online.

I went ahead despite of the low overall height.  I hope everything turns out well.

Eileen was having ulcers, so we shared a less spicy mala pot while the boys and their father had a super spicy bowl.

It's my first mala pot after the surgery.  I am not doing well, still bleeding.  Probably will bring forward my medical appointment once I leave the job.

Actually, I am so torn between to carry on with a job that at least gets me peanuts or to stay at home to nurse back my health and do a mega spring clean.  I hate myself not able to do both at the same time.....

Off day, nua in bed and started to look at cherry blossom areas in Tokyo.

The pictures were already making me excited.

It's a 12hrs Pokemon Community Day.  We went Changi Village and were disappointed with the poor spawn.

Odd hour meal at 3.30pm was still good at $4.50 each plate.
