Hibernating cooking and eating at home

Used left over pork ribs to make black pepper fried rice for Luis.

Loots from Shopee came.  Pink color eye wash!  Heehee.... so pretty, but kinds stingy eyes.  I dilute with water and it worked fine.  Maybe should dilute with saline, better.

Woke up only once to pee after taking this.  I am still making an effort to sleep earlier.

I had successfully change my bath time to around 9pm, believe it or not, body less ache now.

The only bad thing is I can't do any more house work after I bath cos I perspire so easily.  I had to turn on the fan and sometimes the aircon the moment I step out of the shower.  Now I am taking cold showers already but the weather here is still too warm for me to bear.

Dinner made black pepper pasta with burger steak for the kids.

I had salmon, too much beef will make my butt bleed.

Trying my best to clear the loaf of bread.  PapaVoo bought one loaf and gotten the other free, couldn't finish before expiry date, put in the fridge for it to last for another week.

Made egg toast for Luis.

Mid noon, Angliss delivery came, the butter chicken didn't make it to the freezer, straight away popped into the oven and shared with Luis.

So yummy....

Beef balls with soup came just in time for dinner.

Sibei delicious and effortless to make.  I added in pepper, canned salted veg and tofu.

I pan fried a cod and dinner was done for 4 of us.

Do you know how it feels like when a friend died of Covid?

First thing after wake up, made simple soft taco wrap with twister chicken for the old man and young boys.

Cleared away the last few pieces of chicken.

Myself ate sweet potato and coffee.  In between the day, I either ate fruits or looked for dessert in the fridge.

My baby sis must be crying alone in the hotel room.  Her boss's mother passed away, yup it's Covid.  They were very close, they went market together every week end and cooked together.  It's very heart breaking when you didn't even get to say goodbye.......  That kind of pain, only those who been through will know how it feels...... haiz...... but there's nothing I can do to lessen her grieve....

Dinner, I cleared off the last few pieces of fish fillet and crab meat, the freezer got space liao.

Very 麻烦, omelette had to do one with crab meat, another kor song for the kids.  Why their mother like seafood so much but they don't eat seafood leh???   I also don't know what went wrong during their childhood sia.

Roast meat counter in Cold Storage good business.  The small crowd came after I bought what I needed and stood away to take this pic lolxx....

Cold Storage sells quite a few items which I gotten from Angliss at a much cheaper price.

Unfortunately not many people know about this direct supplier.

Ate at a weird time of 3pm with Darren.

I somehow managed to eat 2 pieces of cakes after the packet of rice, omg.....

I bought a big pile of ribs for dinner, but the children didn't really like it, so got left overs.

Damn upsetting sia, the stupid brinjal became brown.  I got soak with vinegar leh, maybe not long enough urrgg...... anyway taste not affected.  Good that I cleared off the baby octopus.

Covid in Singapore

The best thing my kid sis ever did was to buy a mini steam cooker for our baby sis.  Food at Regent sucks big time, Regent...... my foot....

It's everywhere, all started with a leak.

For the past few days I had been telling my stubborn old man not to eat outside, ta bao to office, I knew I was wasting my breath.

Then finally!  Haahaahaaa...... so now he LL.  Like all the old uncles out there, he was very upset.

I had tried my best already, but he still preferred outside food.  Probably it's the crowd he enjoyed, you know, talking to strangers, kaypo here kaypo there.....

Kinda risky, if I kena, I asked for it.

Brunch at Bedok Reservoir's hawker.  The hawker was quite clean.

Yummy......

An uncle sat shared the table with us, he told us he upset no more dine, lolxx.....

The purpose of sneaking out was to meet Calvin and bought the famous "flower mop".

My PapaVoo some how had contacts, so don't ask me how I manage to get it.

Also bought face masks, this cute one for Bernice.

Went home, scroll phone and this:

In another words, import continues, everybody from all over the world are welcome.  We kena means we are not "obedient".

With this, I am almost sure that Singapore will not be Covid free for at least another 2 years.

Haiz..... I still have so many places I never been.....

Dinner with old man.  Cabbage + lup chiong + mushroom all in rice cooker, and steam otah at the same time.

Almost the easiest way out, but I still hated the washing...

No need to mosaic lah....

We are all so bored and upset with the current situation, she appeared in time as the best entertainment.

Now she's a famous meme.  Jokes aside, I really pity her, what had happened to her?

Pasta with spicy sausage, saw one last slice of cheese in the fridge, so I just put in lolxx....

Dinner was chicken bulgogi.  PapaVoo got class, so I only had 3 plates to wash.

Anyhow make ramen, forgotten to add fish cake.  Asked 宝宝 to peel eggs for me, one very jialet, one semi jialet and the last one was pretty lolxx.... all taste good lah anyway...

Had crispy soft shell crabs as side, very meaty, awesome from Angliss.

Dinner didn't cook, PapaVoo ta bao.  After that we ordered bubble tea, it's ok to be fat some times.

Just as I was telling Ber not to go airport, news of it's closure was announced.

Why are they always slower than a uneducated housewife like me?

I ate bread with coffee but made dim sum for PapaVoo, Luis and his friend.  Didn't take pic, it's a combi of Swee Choon and Angliss.  Luis's friend ate until very happy.

Dinner prep started early cos need to marinate and let it sit.

Bought the cheapest salt cos not using it directly into food.

Doing salted bake chicken.

But I did it over the stove, covered with cheap salt.

I created a mess while taking them out after 40mins lolxx...

Not the most photogenic but very tender and juicy, nice sia, will do this again!

From Angliss, this is one of the item that I wouldn't buy again, more than $6 for a 1pax portion.

Lots of veg, salmon a few pieces only.  Looked a lot here cos I added in onions and mushroom.

Dinner was good with old man.

3 pax dinner, I made chawanmushi, miso soup with clams, teriyaki salmon (burnt a little lolxx...), pan seared pork jowl and prawns with lychee.... or was it long an???  Never mind, not much difference.

PapaVoo compliment that I was really good at this.

Trying my best to cook more often so as to keep everyone at home.  Covid is spreading like fire now.

I miss my mother..... she's gone for more than 20 years le.....

No celebration, ta bao chicken rice for dinner.

Watching Youtube, these ang mo got big houses which a lot of them don't appreciate and hoard in them.

Hoarding is a cocktail of mental illness and laziness, am I right?

红油抄手, gave the same to my baby sis in quarantine.  She kena the 21 days, sibei ke lian.  She was on her first few days when the gov happy happy change from 14 days to 21 days.  It's another $1K more that she needs to pay, money is one thing, jail for another 7 days is the real pain that most ppl have no empathy with..... haiz.....

It's like stay in Oman also die, come back also die.

So spicy that I could only take 2.
