Shanghai pork buns from Paradise Dynasty.

Was done in 10mins on a non-stick pan.

Very very juicy, will buy again!

Had been watching how those ang mo decorate their houses for Xmas.  Envy, but it doesn't make sense for us to spend so much on decor especially when my family aren't christians.

Just spend on the Xmas dinner ba.

The DVD player and speakers were so dusty.  PapaVoo bringing them to his work place, maybe can send to Indonesia when things are better (but it's never better since 2 years back).

After the DVD was cleared off, the bottom shelf was empty, so shiok, hope it remained empty as long as possible.

After this pic I packed up Luis stuffs at the left side, but it last for only about 2 days and he started to mess it up again.

Bread expired and stale, I turned them into bread pudding.  I am usually good at it but this time not sure where went wrong, the texture was funny and very bland urrrggg.....

Went Daiso to pick up wet wipes.  More and more Xmas items were in but didn't buy any.

Darren was dead beat, the 3 of us went buffet steamboat only to realize that we couldn't enjoy the buffet counter any more.

Food was still good and satisfying.

PapaVoo's ice cream which they topped until quite nice I think.  However , now they stopped providing buffet for their ice-cream and drinks are non-refillable.

Xmas masked with pandemic, not much ppl, perhaps it's weekday.

I saw a big dress, but it was still not big enough for me, I was quite upset with my body.

I went to another shop called PlayDress, found a long pink dress that fitted and bought it.

I wore to my friend's wedding but didn't manage to take a single pic of myself, oh well.......

$2 for 5pcs of micro-fiber wash cloth from Donki, they were small and thin but should be more than enough for spring cleaning.

I made mala chicken thigh for Darren and Luis.

Ber and us enjoyed these whole lot.  It's so difficult to cook for the boys, they don't eat seafood and veg, what's their prob sia.....

After looking in Youtube, I decided to removed the whole..... bark, trunk, what's that called?  Anyway, I removed it from the box.  It's budding again.

Little mushrooms were sprouting and they looked so gross like toad.

Simple dinner.  Bitter gourd chicken pre-cooked from Angliss, yummy, the boys were accepting it well.

Stir fried prawns with long beans and a bit of sambal, surprisingly good.  2 omelettes one with onions and 1 without, very 麻烦。

Yummy cold prawns, I have another pack in the freezer, probably keeping till Xmas to do a prawn salad.

By night time, the mushrooms doubled the size, amazing!

Before I called it a day, someone spilled milo over the kitchen sink.  "Someone" became "no one", nobody owns up as I was all prepared to skin the fellow alive.  And this was at 1am, urrrgggg.......

Date: 16/11/2021 (Tues)

When I woke up, I was so surprised to see the pink mushrooms were all grown out!  WOW!!

Still small and they looked too pretty to be eaten.

Our water dispenser died so I had to boil water for coffee, so here's coffee with rendang pie.

After all the gaps at dry areas were filled up with putty, it's silicon's turn.  PapaVoo bought this silicon gun.  The big tube covered all the areas in the toilet.

The remaining I used in the kitchen.  The gaps between those casing are great homes for ants and spiders.  The other wall was done and this pic at this side of the wall only the left side was done, cos the finally drop of silicon was used up.  I will deal with the rest of the gaps next time ba, so far no ants in the kitchen, yet, touch wood.

I was so proud of myself but I only had myself to rejoice with, any efforts big or small are transparent.

By night time, the mushroom grew bigger, I was afraid it might die off, so I made my first harvest, yeah!

Date: 17/11/2021 (Wed)

Another delivery came.  There wasn't any discount for 11.11 for these already cheap cloud key holders.

Saw a Youtuber with one at home, so I bought 2, luckily.  Cos each cloud could only hold 2 to 3 bunch of keys.

Cooked dinner cos I need to cook my pink mushrooms.  So sad that the pink was gone once it touches heat.

I any how paired with prawns, not bad, the mushroom tasted like chicken.

I made pork chops with.... was it steak sauce or BBQ sauce, anyway almost the same.

I asked PapaVoo to remove the DVD player at the same time shift down the TV for me.  Luis' Ring Fit disc was still missing.

The dead corner behind the TV was accumulated with dust, I think I will have do a monthly clean for that corner.

Darren came home with torn pants.  He said the tearing sound was ear deafening when he squat down doing the stocks.  Look at the big tear, almost all the way from the front to the back, laugh die me lolxx....

Stayed home weekend

Not able to get any muffin buns, but gotten these from NTUC.

The size is smaller than Angliss's BB4 which is a good thing.

It was perfect with the these chicken patties gotten through Shopee.  

You know what, these taste like Mcdonald's breakfast sausage.

So let's make Mcdonald's breakfast in noon.

Double sausage brioche with egg and cheese, yummy to the max.

I had to do laundry and hang them in my room.  He doesn't feel bad at all.  I think in future, I will get him to send the washed laundry to the shop to tumble dry, I shouldn't be suffering all by myself.....

After brunch I cut fruits for the kids and myself.

Then after a while I went back to the kitchen to peel off all the garlic and store them in the freezer as they were dying in the chiller.

Out and back in again to cook dinner for old man and myself.  Grilled seabass and pork dumplings, curry veg was leftover which I ate myself.  That man never eat leftovers unless I am able to trick him by turning it into another dish.

Dinner was very filling even without rice.

11.11 shopping loots came one by one, my door was busy for many days lolxx....

Coffee came first, they weren't much, but bulk, took up so much space in the pantry.

Did patch work in master toilet, used up the whole tub of putty.

After a day's hard work, dinner was bad with 3 miserable piece of chicken.  Told him to buy 2 meat and 2 veg numerous times already, not sure when my words can sink into his skull.....

After dinner, another delivery came, pantry going to burst liao.

Mid nite supper for the kids, korean spicy noodle with chicken patties.

Bathroom makeover

Made somen for Luis, I think it should be really nice if I make the somen really cold with ice.

I sold off Darren's running shoes.  Actually didn't complete so much deals.  More than half the items I send off to Salvation Army when nobody wants them, then most of the time I just click "sold off".

The buyer was smiling from left to right, so was I.

Evening went IKEA.  PapaVoo and I had dinner there.  It was so crowded just like those good old days before Covid.

I bought a breakfast tray, a two tier server before moving on to get bedsheets but the shelves were 50% empty.  That means new designs will be coming in.  Luckily we live near enough to pop by again, any time.

Xmas..... maybe I just do some decor with last year's stuffs, then put the money for CNY decor.  Either, we aren't expecting much visitors actually.  A lot was running in my mind, I don't want to waste money buying wrong stuffs, but he was playing with his phone most of the time as usual, I have nobody to talk to.  Maybe I should just go ahead and spend his money without making my life difficult.  Since I can't get him involved with his own home, at least I can get him to pay.

I know he will never change or rather he never care, but dealing with my own disappointment and frustrations is so difficult sometimes....

I couldn't find blue donuts or baby sharks, only found blue dogs.

Kena cheated, the blue dogs turned out black, so very very black, it's was so funny.

They tasted almost like normal dogs, yup.

2 parcels, one was laptop bag, another one was medicine for my butt, found the same medicine, different brand, way cheaper, for my poor butt.

Nice material, but hell smelly, sprayed fabric freshener and aired it for a day at the balcony.

There was one more black dog in the chiller, so I kiaped with egg and lettuce.

Turned on the air purifier and put on face mask before dealing with the mould.

Scrapped, pulled and tear the hell out of them.  This was at the corner of the vanity counter.

Moving up it looked like this.  I tried to cover the casing with blue wall paper, it was so ugly.  I left it there, finally ripping it off.  After removing, it's as gross as ever.

Scrapping off as much as possible and plaster the gaps with putty.

PapaVoo ta bao Pepper Lunch for us for dinner.

With the last bit of energy, I changed Luis and my bedsheets, couldn't wait any longer, they were starting to smell already lolxxx...

But I couldn't wash them cos it's Fri the next day.  Fridays and Saturdays I can't dry laundry at the balcony cos he smokes there.  If I do, I have to hang dry them on a small rack in my room but the sheets are too big for it.  He used to smoke outside the toilet before the reno, now he smokes directly below the tek gor (laundry poles).  It will be wonderful if I am hanging ducks instead of laundry (we get smoked ducks, yeah).

I told him to send it to the laundry to get them washed and dried.  He thought I was either busy or lazy, I told him he was the reason, he played deaf of course and insisted I was busy/lazy.

2.30am, I was eating prata with Darren.

10hrs later, eat again, I put everything into the steamer - prawn dumplings, char siew bun and otah bun.

I love my big bear.

Tried out the breakfast tray on bed, quite like it.

Luis went out for dinner with us.

This is Timbre outside Expo Hall 5.

We ordered this from the Bottle Shop, it's so nice that we decided to try all the other flavors from Brothers.  But not here of course, we bought at Shopee, much much cheaper.

We waited for more than half an hour for our food sia.

Luis's moo ping with rice and our giant cockles.

The giant cockles were 90% cooked, not bad with sauce.

Tom Yam Pot, big portion value for money at $18.

We went NTUC and on the way back Mr Coconut when I saw almost no queue.

The outlet at Tamp One either long queue or my hands were too full with other things.
