I went to the doc, surprisingly nothing too serious despite of the bleeding.  Surgery is not recommended, hopefully there's an improvement after 10 days of medication.  Doc said the crucial thing is to avoid constipation to avoid reoccurring of piles.  I freaking need 2 glasses of orange juice and 2 litres of water daily.  Shit.

The bill was about $129  TT__TT

We went for economical teow chew porridge and at the same time put our queen bed sheets in the public laundry near by.  The tumbled dry sheets smell as if it's sun dry, wonderful.

Introducing Luis, my baby son for new readers here.

We were waiting for hubby to pick us up at Pasir Ris to Downtown East.  Each year the haze got worst, or perhaps my health tolerance gets lower and lower as I age....

We were heading to Heavenly Duck which was having this $19.90 buffet.  The usually quiet restaurant was fully booked.  According to their FB, it's so overwhelming that the kitchen would be doing only buffet lunch from 30 Sept onward.  You want business but your kitchen cannot cope, period....

We had no choice but settle dinner else where.  Takagi Ramen was just a few units away.

2 bowls of ramen, 2 drinks, 2 sides and 1 rice was only $28.70!!  Yummy and very very filling.  I am going to come here regularly!

I made myself brunch.

The bread was long expired, so had to keep in the fridge.  To clear it off, I butter and toast it on the non-stick pan.  This plate last till dinner time.  Dinner I had half bowl of rice and fish soup.  But nope, I didn't lose even a gram of weight.

I bought some stuffs for my coming autumn trip.

I bought these white embroidery boots cos it's called 璎珞, omg.... it's so pretty on the pic.

I will spray it with water and dirt repellent before wearing.  Also gotten another pair of black knee high boots for $10 only.  Plus 2 pairs of stockings, one beige, one white.  Singapore only sells black and it's over $30, Taobao is around $10 only.

Hope nothing goes wrong with the size and quality.

After 3 weeks of job hunting, one came back to me finally.  I went to the job agent at Somerset for the first round of interview.  It's not an ideal job but I can't be fussy any more.  I will just make do with it for 3 months, earn a bit of money and look for one which I can do permanently.  I need to go for another round of interview with the employer so I will let you guys know what job it was.  I scared I jinx myself lolxx...

Orchard Road is beautiful, everything is, except for price tags lolxx..

I bought shampoo and conditioner, cos they look so pretty.

I am gonna keep the bottles to put my dish detergent, heehee...  Imagine them in the kitchen, so chio...

Went Donki also.  I already know what I want, so I chop chop filled up the basket and straight to the cashier in less than 25mins.

I actually wanted to eat in Orchard, that old man, car park expensive lah, CBD lah blah blah blah...  so I suggested 甲三碗.  I could had went to Lavender station myself (only a couple of stations) but shopping bags were just too heavy.  So he came to pick me up and drove for 30mins which was only 7mins for MRT.

Their authentic Taiwanese food was as good as ever.

Communicating more with my 2 sons‘ girlfriends...

Darren came back with bigger biceps and sore chest lolxx...  He went out to have dinner with friends.  Luis was also out, so left me and old man.

A lot of people say cooking for 2 is difficult, not for me.  Everything was done in less than 25mins.

Sardine with lots of onions and dumplings with chye sim.

PapaVoo gotten the pork dumplings from Chinatown.  They can freeze to about a month without preservatives.  They tasted as if they were freshly made.

After dinner was dealing with laundry.  That NS boy's white t-shirts had to be bleached.  Didn't wear gloves, then my hands began to peel, haiz....

PapaVoo was very excited over the RC event.  We bought 2 breakfast tix (with goodie bag) for $2 each only.

So now I have 2 face towels and 4 bottles of insect repellent.

He went up and down like a hyper-active kid.

1st trip down to get breakfast;

2nd trip - ice cream/popcorns

3rd trip - redeem portable fan (I like it, can be hand held or on desk, I put it in the kitchen)

4th trip - Mew2 raid

5th trip - lucky draw, he came back with instant teriyaki chicken rice

6th trip - went convenient store to buy cigarette 

He enjoyed very much.  He could had done all of the above in 2 or 3 trips but he purposely wanted to go up and down for the fun of it.

Other then the Mew2 raid, I was too tired to be bored with the rest.

Darren's girlfriend came over for dinner.  I cooked bak kut teh, braised tofu, braised eggs and stir fried chives with scallops.  

Talked a lot with Bernice to find out more about Tokyo.  Apparently it's not convenient to book AirBnB over there.  Have to physically go AirBnB office to register before heading to the accommodation.  Quite a hassle to me, I rather not....

My ass bleeding came back.  I farted excessively, smell so bad that it's not funny any more.  I google search and it says it could be infection along the big intestine/rectum.  After putting this everlasting problem for so long, it's time to see the family doc again..... I am quite depressed.

The teriyaki chicken rice gotten yesterday was not bad!

Darren ate everything, including the corn, edamame and peppers!  My boy really grown up le....

After dropping my son back to the camp, old man drove me to Jurong Point.

I couldn't help being childish but the big bear made me so happy.

We had rickshaw noodles in the mall's Hong Kong food street.

(poor Hong Kong, it's not going to be stable anytime soon)

I ordered a lot for my bowl lolxx... gotten braised wings, pork chop, cuttlefish, tau pok and kang kong.  The milk tea was great and we brought the glass bottle home.

Went Malaysia Boleh and bought peanut crispy pancake for $1.

We will be back to Jurong Point Mall again.

Luis' girlfriend Eileen came back from BKK with one big bag of goodies which I poured out and covered the entire dinning table.  She also gotten me this scarf, such a sweet girl.

Purple lady's fingers are the same as green ones...

PokemonGo Community Day reverted back to 11am.  Hubby didn't want to waste a minute, so I was left alone at Mcdonald's.

Haze was bad, so the airport was still the best place.

I bought a razor for Darren and gotten the magnetic bracelet at Jewel's Tokyo Hands.  Managed to coax him to buy me a $99 one, heeheehee..... Will take a photo of it later.

Gotten 5 shiny without playing too hard. 

Kissed Darren goodbye around 6pm, I didn't send him off.

Luis' gf's uncle gave a big bag of veg including these purple fingers.  I gave one pack to my kid sis.

I cooked breakfast for dinner lolxx....  That orange stuff is pumpkin soup made from scratch, damn nice.  Beef patties from Sadia (better than Farmland).

After cooked, the purple fingers looked and tasted just like usual green fingers.  Anyway, it's totally divine with rice.

Starting on a drama which was aired 2 years ago, cos the theme song 凉凉 was too nice.

Highly raved at 58 episodes, not sure when can binge finish....

I applied for a few jobs, none want me.  Too old is it??

Starting to feel demoralized, still can't find a job :(

Did almost nothing except watching drama and played PokemonGo a little more for the new release.  Also kaypo a bit at HK.....

They forgotten their skin color and begging to be slaves, don't know to laugh or cry at this situation.

Initially, I was very concern why China isn't doing anything to end this mess.

Now, I think it's absolutely brilliant not to do anything at all.  Give them all the "freedom" and "democracy" to do anything and everything.

2 types of people are (1) 隔岸观火, continue to top up pop corns, I presume this may last for another couple of months, even a couple of years, depending on when their economy die completely into 3rd world country. (2) 火上加油, I read online some foreigners happily joined in the protest, the crime rate must be increasing.

I finished 58 episodes with some tears and bitter sweet heart wrench.  It was one of the best drama ever watched.  China actors soooooooo freaking handsome and beautiful, great costumes and makeup, awesome story line.  But I better stop liao, not doing me any good.  Last night I watched till 5am >.<  very bad for health.

Nearly lost my phone, again, heehee....

Darren's day home yeah!  Fri is my busiest day now.  I would mop the house clean, as if to welcome the king lolxx..

Cooked dinner for hubby, Luis and myself while Darren hurried off to see his girlfriend whom came back from Japan.  They missed each other for 2 weeks le.

Home cook is good, I mix the grains myself.

Darren came back with plenty of Jap tibits including Tokyo Banana.

This got caramel, damn nice.

My botak boy spend most the time at home, he too happy with his PC game.

Went PLQ to walk walk.

He became very restless and moody when I don't bring him out.  But whenever I do, he would just stood outside of almost every shop while I walked in.  So half the time I was alone.

I saw magnetic bracelets which price range fits my budget.  But I decided to check and see if I can get it cheaper online.  Can't afford Owell.

We walked through all levels in search of restaurants that we never try.

I was instantly attracted by the interior of Duckland.

Half roast duck was $30, excluding corn fried rice $2 each.

The mustard sauce was really nice and had to ask for top up.  The roast duck came with crispy skin, juicy meat.  Will be back, yum yum.

After which I left my hand phone on the seat and didn't realise until half an hour later.  When we qiong back to the restaurant.  I wasn't anxious, was feeling calm in a weird way.  Thank god and heaven, it was still at the place I left it.  Nobody even notice the phone lolxx....

He scold scold nag nag as usual, I felt happy and loved.  骂是爱 truly.

Binge watching Kitchen Nightmare, selecting those restaurants which are still open.  Now I am left with those which are closed, so my interest kinda lessen.  It's incredible when people offer you so much help and you can fail.

If I had some one to help during that time, I probably will survive, I had watched my business die, it's so painful......

Did nothing constructive, just caught 2 Deoxys.

Wall paper from TaoBao came.  The white color is somehow almost the same as the existing weird light purple.  I never know white will go this wrong.

So for now just have to bear with the weird dead brown and light purple walls in the living room for the time being.  The big roll of white wall paper will just have to wait, perhaps at other rooms.  It would be a waste to abandon it.

Going to Oakwood by bus, first time ever...

Date: 10/09/2019 Tues

Woke up, struggled out of bed and made my way to the bus stop.

For the first time I took bus to Oakwood.  Took 168 from home.  Should had took my neck pillow with me, my head couldn't stay stable.  If only I could dismount my head and put it on my lap.  The girl sat beside me very cute de.... she dozed off, jerked either to the front or towards me.  She would wake up suddenly to tap on her phone, then doze back again and repeat.

Alighted before turning into Woodlands library took 912.  I was affected by the haze, felt as if sand had been pouring down the throat and eyes felt stung.  But hey, I saved $20 from cab fares.

Reached at 2.30pm and started getting the soup in pot.

My father looked very well, the helper was happy having me to chat with her a bit.  It could be depressing looking after an elderly all by herself in a big quiet house.

Dinner for hubby, helper, father and me.  The soup was really tasty, I had asked my helper to cook porridge for my father with the broth.

Seabass was cheap at less than $5, I pan fried it and topped with fried ginger and soya sauce.

Job hunting continues with a couple of applications rejected.  I will have to continue till someone takes me in....  My 2020 overseas plans awaiting, I need MONEY!!!  Oh gawd....

Laundry Days

Date: 07/09/2019 (Sat)

Priority task, wash Darren's clothes along with the rest.  His white uniform and t-shirt was a major headache, bleached was used.  Then followed by lots of ironing.

Taobao came.

Anti-mosquito blue ray.  The lamp is very cute, S$7 nia.

My cushion mat looks awesome but not as springy as the old ones in the kitchen.

Finally can dump away the useless IKEA clock which dies every other day.

Installed this in the kitchen.  Then the IKEA clock in the living room also died.  So we moved this china clock into the living room.  Gonna buy another clock but feeling really lazy.

Found easy soup recipes on FB.  Gonna try the one with bittergourd.

It's PapaVoo's actual birthday, Luis stayed at home to have dinner with us.

After this I made a quick spin at Mahota to buy ingredients for tmrw's dinner.  With lesser crowd at this supermarket, we were done very quickly.  I didn't want to stay out for long nowadays.

When entrance is FREE at the Birds' Park...

I can't remembered which date I stopped my Dayre.  The biggest thing this period of time would be eldest son Darren in NS.  I missed him badly the first 10days, the house felt empty without him.

After that he was back every Friday which is now my favorite day!  I would spam kiss his botak head whenever I could when he's at home.

This pic was taken on 1st Sep when his little bro was helping him to tie his shoe laces.  As a mother, this was a priceless moment and I was drunk with happiness.

Hubby took half day leave to bring me to the Birds' Park.  My previous visit was more than 20 years ago le...

I had presumed that it wouldn't be so crowded but had totally forgotten it's school holiday

The car park was beyond full and he gotten very frustrated.  Without knowing, he drove out of the car park but told me he needed a washroom, urrrgggg.....  I asked him to drive back to the birds' park's car park cos I am very sure there will be a toilet at the entrance of the birds' park.  I can wait for him in the vehicle while he goes for his pee quickly right?

He wouldn't listen to me, insist on driving around the industrial area looking for a canteen.  He managed to after 30mins.

After the old man was settled, we found an alternative and finally walked into the entrance of the birds' park.

However, there was still a need to get entrance tickets and the queue was like a mile long, haiz....

We le pak at the aircon coffee shop for a while.  He bought ice coffee for me and lychee soda for himself costing a massive damage of $8 T__T  We should had just make do with plain water that I brought, scolded him for wasting $8, haiz.....

After we finished our drinks, the queue vanished and we gotten into the park at 4.40pm.

The flamingos were gorgeous and I almost wanted to stay there till time's up.  Then I felt a "thud" on my shoulder....... bird shit, I KENA BIRD SHIT!!!

We moved on and left at 5.40pm to pick up my darling from Home Team Academy.

We had dinner at Jewel to celebrate PapaVoo's birdday :P

I like the unique ambiance here, it's like dinning in a aircon forest.

  

I like my unagi and foie gras.

The garlic teriyaki chicken was good too.

We also order chicken cutlet and duck drum which became too jelak after a few mouthfuls.

Most importantly, we had great family bonding.
